Elden Ring Troll Knight Notes & Tips
- Behaves identically to its regular variant, now with the ability to cast three giant glintblades to chase down foes.
Headless variants near the Four Belfries gain the ability to teleport short distances. - Like regular trolls, they can damage and kill their allies.
- Strong attacks directed towards their legs will easily topple them and allow for a critical hit on their head. Shooting their head will also stun them for a bit.
- Wears an enlarged Carian Knight Helm.

Not hard, not fun, not worth it, just annoying- like most big enemies in the game tbh, at least ONE of them drops something...

Wait, you mean the Troll Knight's Sword ISN'T a guaranteed drop from the one in Caria Manor...? This is getting weird...

The troll knight on Liurnia Highway is guaranteed to kill all the soldiers without intervention, but usually fails to keep them from killing all the nobles first. Both groups wiping each other out will net you ~1k runes each time, without lifting a finger except to move far enough down the road for the sorcerers and then the knight to appear. It really doesn't matter whether you wait for the soldiers to finish fighting before doing it, so you can spawn everything immediately and leave to go sit and collect runes.

See, it's canon -- the average strength build has less intelligence than a literal troll.

This is just one example, but every enemy has an "official" description like that.. the "Trolls are often employed to guard key locations, such as staircases.." paragraph
Where are these coming from?

Use flame frenzy incantation to drop them for critical. 2-3 good hits with it does it.
