One of the first Tarnished to arrive at the Roundtable, Vargram was named after the white wolf pelt on his helm.

has an amazing armor, too bad i killed rykard before getting to leyndell and now i have to go ng+ for it :)

Kinda bummed that he doesn't have any cool dialogue or a questline, he's got literally the most recognizable set in the game.

I'd pay a lotta money to see the Gloam Eyed Queen with Vargram fight Queen Mariketh/RAGADON with Malekeith, like a full on war: BLACK FLAMES vs GOLDEN ORDER ENERGY!!!

I got killed by him and the red mark is disappear, what should I do?

Vargram make me **** myself when I saw his wide photo of him.

Wow based off of the picture I would not want to fight this guy like holy smokes that man has an intimidating presence

so
melina is marika's daughter
that makes her an empyrean
she also is the gloam eyed queen
but she was missing a shadow
and that is where this guy comes

I fought the pair at the manor with Bernahl. During the fight, I swear there was an invisible caster using night sorceries fighting on our side, like a 3v2. Can someone please confirm this?

Ah yes the proclaimed protagonist and poster boy of the hit racing game Elden Ring, John Elden Ring

More like the Wide Wolf. I don't know why that's the image for this page, but it makes him very menacing

His gear is cool and obviously iconic but I think I went out of my way to not kill him. I didn't want to kill anymore Tarnished :'(

The first Tarnished to simp for Ranni? Clearly a man of culture. *tips fedora*

The posterboy. Godslayer is a good choice of weapon for him, since the Tarnished are meant to kill the Shardbearers

Good to see they haven't changed the image, wide boi Vargram Is eternal

These two are a subtle nod to the mechanics of the taunters tongue allowing for 2v2 invasions. You kill Alberich in the same spot in the regular round table.

I helped kill him on my first playthrough but I didn't notice he was using a godslayer's. I didn't see him use the weapon art either. That image makes it look like one of the envoy horns.

There is a specter of Vargram outside of the Limgrave Colluseum (it's wearing his armor) and he says "All I wanted was to fight. To fight, as a warrior to the last. So, why? Why, O guidance of grace, will this door not open?"
It's a story that is less obvious than the others in the game but it's cool to see these NPCs get some more story outside of item descriptions and invasions. There's probably more to piece together as well.

This collaboration with GRR Martin gave us the first canonical furry fan of any From game.

"According to the old legends, wolves are the shadows of the Empyrean. Vargram aspired to such a state himself." Hes using the Godslayer's Greatsword. Did he want to be the Gloam-Eyed Queen's shadow?

Managed to miss this set on two separate playthroughs. On my first because I didn't do the Manor questline for the sake of my roleplay, and the second because I didn't know killing Rykard would end the contract with Bernahl. Oh whale T^T

Is he good? Or is he like secretly evil? Because I don’t wanna kill him if he’s genuinely a good dude.

I Got this in my first playthrough after killing rykard and only doing 2 letters. But I cant get it now, so... if you pick up the third letter you get locked out? Seems really dumb, this is the one of the reasons some people hate these games. Arbitrarily hypersensitive quest events.

Really hate the fact that this dude uses the Godslayer Greatsword. Hate that I look like I'm just cosplaying as him if I'm wearing the armor and using my favorite weapon...

Just killed rykardr and then did the invasion so the last part is incorrect.

Does the fact that this guy wanted to be a wolf-man (shadow of an empyrean) imply that the wolf-people are made from humans and aren't just born that way? Or is he just a furry-wannabe? The only info we're given is that the shadows are given to the empyreans by the two fingers on behalf of the greater will. We don't actually know where they come from

So lorewise this guy wants to be a wolf man like maliketh and blaidd? i'm wondering if the fur on the armor is actually him transforming or if he put it there..
- Anonymous
That's incorrect - I have killed Rykard already, but was then able to still come and invade this dude.
- Anonymous
Fancy putting this as uninvadable after the Volcano Manor boss, usually you will box off one area then progress to the next, some of these quest lines are a joke!

If you get the mission , you can entry from divine bridge, the lever will work

I killed bernahl and wasn't able to revive him, so I can't get the armor T-T

I killed rykard before invading vargram and I was still able to do so and got his armor
- Anonymous
any info on what the sword he uses in the encounter against him is ?
- Anonymous
Its really such a shame we gotta slay the dude for the armor.
Eh, keeping him alive can wait for NG+.
- Anonymous
If you pick up the red letter it blocks you from this dialogue…I thought it was only if you read the letter. Riiiiip no armor for me.
- Anonymous
It locks you out when you kill Rykard even if you have the quest letter, it's pretty annoying....
- Anonymous
can't get to him any more since I progressed too far. Lame. This game is too cryptic, forcing you to look everything up online.
- Anonymous
Don't kill him, he's a fellow adventurer. not a bad one. Unless you are.
- Anonymous
If Dung Eaters given you the Gaol Key he will help you in this fight.
