Flame Guardians are Hostile NPCs in Elden Ring.
They can be found inside the Guardians' Garrison in the Mountaintops of the Giants. As hostile NPCs, Flame Guardians will chase and attack you on sight. Their name is displayed in bright red above their health bar, similar to NPC Invaders.
Masked humanoids tasked with protecting Giants’ Flame incantations from any intruders, wielding torchpoles and fire magic of their own.

- They are classified as Human NPCs, and are thus vulnerable to Madness and Death Blight
- Can be grabbed with Inescapable Frenzy.

AnonymousThe only incantation these Flame Guardians know is Whirl, O Flame! They are bound to use it at range, but in closer quarters they will use basic attacks and the Charge Forth skill using their torchpole.

I guess they're tarnished. I was curious so I used Unescapable Frenzy and it actually held them.

Funny how these guys wear some of the worst clothing imaginable, yet are somehow Invincible if not nearly invincible to Deathblight. Weird.
