Where to Find Celebrant:
Elden Ring Celebrant Combat Information
- Health: 435 / 626 HP
- Poise: 30
- Immunities: Madness, Death Blight.
Absorptions
- Phy (Standard): 0
- Phy (Slash): 10 - 12
- Phy (Strike): 0
- Phy (Pierce): (-12) - (-10)
The absorption numbers are the % of your damage that gets blocked. For example, if an absorption is 60, 40% of that damage by that type will go through and 60% is absorbed. Bigger number = less damage. An absorption of 100 means no damage goes through, and a resistance of -100 mean the enemy takes 2x damage from that source. 0 means damage goes pretty much as is.
Resistances
Poison: 179 - 181
Scarlet Rot: 179 -181
Hemorrhage: 179 - 181
Frostbite: 179 - 181
Sleep: 239 - 241
The resistance numbers are the buildup amount to trigger it. For example, if a resistance is 100 you must deal 100 points of whatever aux buildup to trigger it. Note that these go down over time, and increase each time the effect procs.

Celebrant Notes & Tips
- Voice Actor: Mali Harries
- They can projectile vomit blood at the player, which oddly inflicts Poison Status Effect build-up.
- They do not drop the Celebrant's Skull.
- A spirit in the area can been found saying:
"Eek.. I hear a festive melody..
No, no don't skin me..
My hide is filthy, I swear..."
Implying some aspects of the festival.

For farming, just dump into arcane and spam Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear weapon art in the middle of every group while working your way up and down the hill bouncing between the graces. Once you start narrowing down what you need from their drop pool you can obviously single out the ones you need.

I noticed that they don't actually vomit on you; they bite their arm and spit out their blood on you. So uh... you know.
Also idk if the drop rates have changed or im just lucky but after like 30-45 minutes of just farming the big group in the front I've got 2 cleavers, 2 sickles, several dresses (plus 2 altered and 1 blue), a festive hood and a blue festive hood. I'm not not really interested in farming the rake, but I imagine it helps to figure out which villager is wielding what weapon and going for those women specifically, since they only drop what they carry.

I think I've beaten a couple people here.
With 90 arcane combined between levels, the Silver Tear Mask, and Marika's Soreseal plus the Silver Scarab and the occasional Silver-Pickled Foul Foot I farmed:
11 celebrant cleavers
5 celebrant rib-rakes
13 festival hoods
12 blue festival hoods
23 festival garbs
34 altered festival garbs
12 blue festival garbs
of course hundreds of golden runes 1 and 3 and human bone shards\
All this to finally get ONE I repeat ONE Celebrant's Sickle.
In short, I've heard enough laughing to take over the role as Joker.

I've been hanging out in the village slaughtering these dancing ladies with Haorah's Quake while waiting to get summoned for co-op. I've been farming for at least 8-10 hours... many garbs, a few hoods, 3 cleavers. No sickles and rakes yet!

No Phone in Sight, Literally people who yet live in the moment.

Having tired at the endless butchery of weird tadpole people, I have diverted my efforts to slaughtering these freaky midsomer types en masse.

i have so many human bone shard I can fill an entire paris catacomb

I straight up refuse to farm these terrifying granny corpse dancers at night and will literally change time of day to morning if needed.

30 runs through the windmill village at 190 discovery earned me:
210,900 runes
53 golden rune [3]
125 human bone shards
3 festive hoods, 3 blue festive hoods
14 festive garb
1 blue festive garb
1 celebrants rib rake.
zero cleavers and zero sickles. Wish the weapon drop rates were higher.
I love how all 4 of these ladies each have completely different drop unique to them making it almost guaranteed your not going to get what you want without a load of farming. It's kinda sadistic.

Just for fun i got rid of my runes and items related to the celebrants and decided to farm them at Windmill Village till i got a sickle.
At 250 discovery after an hour and 47 minutes i had
-1106877 Runes
-87 Golden Rune [3]’s
-165 Human Bone Shards
-5 Festive Hoods
-8 Blue Festive Hoods
-23 Festive Garb (Normal and altered)
-7 Blue Festive Garb
-4 Celebrant’s Cleavers
-1 Celebrant’s Sickle
And surprisingly not a single Celebrant’s Rib-Rake…
Making the Sickle and the Rib-Rake easily the hardest to farm items i have encountered so far in the game. Black Dumpling and dual magma blades were a cake walk compared to what it takes to get dual finance sickles.

Didn’t realize their weapons were so rare. Got them all going through the village normally.

Today I learned that these ladies have an attack that seems kind of rare. They bite their arm a few times (very quickly) and then spit/spray their blood at you with their mouth. The initial hit from their blood can actually "proc" at least three times and then it also inflicts poison build up. It happened to Marz in part 12 of her blind Elden Ring playthrough, at 1:19:39. I'll post a link to that video with that timestamp included (so it should take you to that exact moment) in a reply because sometimes I think comments with links get deleted.

They remind me of the Midday Bride/Noonwraith enemies from The Witcher.

The Celebrants reminded me hard of the Resident Evil 4 villagers right at the start. Might look normal from afar, but don't get too close... ¡Un forastero!
I farmed the large group just east of the Grace in Windmill Village 250 times (9,238 runes per group, gold scarab, NG+, Enemies: 3x Clever, 2x Sickle, 2x Rake, 2x Sledge Mobs), 214 Item Discovery:
2.31M runes, 17x Festive Hood, 6x Blue Festive hood, 22x Festive Garb, 19x Festive Garb (Altered), 4x Blue Festive garb, 9x Celebrant's Clever, 3x Celebrant's Rib-Rake, 2x Celebrant's Sickle

Running up the village none of them attacked me until a dog aggroed on me, then the rest around did too. Could be they aggro when anything else does.

I spent a great deal of time farming the Celebrants Skull from these enemies thanks to this page. It is not a drop. It is a pickup found on the edge of a cliff northeast of the Windmill Village site of grace.

I find their behavirous very similar to the hollows of Undead Settlement from DS3

Dominula wouldve been a lovely place if not for the entire neighborhood's murderous intents...

they are all female, most of them wear shady cloaks, the wailing spirit at their village talks about their "skinning" habits, and the most obvious: they seem to be constantly celebrating something, like a huge, historical accomplishment from the past, and for all that, in my headcanon, these creepheads are actually retired Black Knife Assassin Veterans from the very Night of the Black Knives incident, for me, that's the only lore-wise thing that explains it all, from their unigender, to their shady cloaks to their even shadier murdering habits disguised behind their ceaseless celebration and festivity that spans in and around their village, as they still wear cleaves, ribrakes and maces crafted with skulls.
