You can see all the thumbs downers on specific comments, those players condone this kind of maidenless behavior in pvp. He's worth minimal runes because he's a completely honorless target. I crouched on his face 50 times then crapped after I finally beat him with this stupid uchi. Modern problems deserve a more modern solution, like rivers, stars, and moon. Hands down biggest POS in the game.

Man's really should have just joined the volcano manor and fed himself to the serpent.
- Anonymous
Just hit him with scarlet rot and waited until he died. Pretty easy to dodge him, and he only has one heal so chip damage with ranged made him really easy.
I'd probably feel bad for murdering Diallos' older brother that he so admired if Juno wasn't a bloodhound-stepping bleed-whip edgelord. Eat shield crash, nerd.

Godskin Peer & Black Flame Tornado. As with all invisible-teleporting-but-holes - it will run itself right into your black flame blender, and get flattened by the final blow, so you can repeat.
Still will need an d ton of FP and some tanky HP unless you're one of those matrix-style-robots that can dodge everything.

FROM: let’s make it clear that this guys an honorable Knight.
Also FROM: gives him bloodhounds finesse

I know he's in a late game area and not meant to be easy, but this Juno is a proper c**t.
- Anonymous
Doing a low level/low upgrade run and beat him pretty easily with a +3 Great Stars. The trick was to roll into his attack and then lay into him with wild strikes until he steps away. He'd occasionally hit me with a followup but wouldn't stagger me, and the trades were quite favorable in the long run as he often didn't even get the second swing. Don't bother with the R2 followup, just let the first few swings work him.
Crucible incantations worked smooth against him, but you need at least 40 vigor and 55+ poise, which you can achieve with crucible armor full set and also get the bonus for those incantations, also used a twin blade with storm assault, fancy fight indeed

Was stuck on this try-finger-but-hole for a bit (2nd toughest for me after gargoyle duo), followed advice below about using shield and guard counter on Junos R1 attacks and paired it with bleed urumi and bloodhound step to move out of range of his other attacks, took a lil patience but he didn’t get 1 hit in
- Anonymous
He has input reading and uses the bloodhound’s step the moment you attack. A good strategy is doing a heavy attack or an AOW with a somewhat long windup (impaling thrust works great) so if he dodges towards you your attack will connect immediately after the iframes expire and before he can attack.
- Anonymous
I just used the wall build and killed him with a shield crash. Couldn't even respond to my attack before dying.
- Anonymous
If you’re using Magma Blade, you can use Magma Shower a few times and insta kill him. I don’t usually abuse that, but screw Juno!
- Anonymous
Didn’t move and killed him before he could touch me. Comet azur ftw.
- Anonymous
Abuses Bloodhound step like there's no tomorrow. His whips do cheap levels of damage and he obviously scales with your level because I was way overlevelled for the area and this poor excuse for game design beat me 6 times before i bent him over
- Anonymous
Gotta respect this guy for using bloodhound’s step, not abusing it. He uses it to escape tough scenarios, which is exactly what was intended of this ability. It took me only a few attempts to kill him, but the bloodhound’s step was never spammed more than like, twice in quick succession. People who have used this ability throughout the game should follow the example of our Knight of Blood here, if they don’t already.

I've seen a lot of challenge videos, always wondered why they don't do this, now I see why. This guy really does deserve an realistic AI award. Blood, bloodhounds step, spam. Give it up for this guy
- Anonymous
there's way too much **** around his arena for you to get stuck on, but of course his AI pathfinding has no issue with it
- Anonymous
In Hoslow's hands, his whip does slash damage, but magically dulls to perform strike damage when it's in your hands.

I did this on a starting level vagabond I twinked out. Antspur rapier, make it poison. Juno is pretty easy to shield turtle, and once you see scarlet rot trigger, you run behind the pillar to the right and hide on the rocks with your shield up. Once rot wears off poke him until it’s back, hide a second time, win.

I used an ice based ash of war with my great sword and with no armor. After many tries this is what worked for me

Did they really expect us not to kill rykard by the giant mountaintops? bs quest in my opinion

After many tries I found this way to be pretty effective: First, craft poison darts and a fetid pot (or poison pot) and have something like glintblade phalanx.
When the fight begins and Juno greets you, first take your wonderous physic and cast glintblade phalanx, then throw several of the poison darts. As he is still greeting you he won't dodge them, and he will become poisoned. Around this time, he will charge and the first glintblades will strike. Now you should avoid him and repeatedly re-cast glintblade phalanx when you have enough distance. (To gain more distance, you can hop on the boulder to the left side of the arena and hop of, the boulder will slow him down and buy you some time) After a while, the poison darts will stop inflicting damage. This is when you should run to the boulder, and as he tries to get on top of it, when you see the chance, throw the fetid pot (as you only need 1 hit, instead of several with the darts), which whill again poison him. Keep on avoiding him and casting phalanx untill he's dead.
This worked like a charm for me. My build is almost pure int (lvl 61 int, lvl 97 total), and i had a light-medium load to have more agility.

Cheesed him with Morgot's Cursed Sword. I just spammed the weapon art. It staggers him for a moment to get a couple regular hits in. And when he teleports away from you the weapon art automatically follows him and catches him again
- Anonymous
Killed him quickly with Fortissax's Lightning Spear! The guy struggled to stand up!
Now is probably a good time to point out that this dude is harder to kill than many of the bosses. Haven’t seen an SL1 no hit video against this mf.
Had to be said.

if youre a faith build, once you spawn in IMMEDIATELY sprint to him and use inescapable frenzy while he does his gesture. if youre fast itll hit every time and you can start the fight in your favor
- Anonymous
Get your heaviest armour, heaviest shield. We dont need no rolling for this fight.
- Anonymous
Halo Scythe f**ks with this guys input reads, pretty much guaranteeing the AoW hits as long as you don't spam it.
- Anonymous
If you're a melee build, whip out your best shield and guard counter the s**t out of him. Watch the bleed bar and try to only GC his R1 attacks - when he hits with both whips, it builds up bleed like crazy and shreds your stamina even with a greatshield. I beat him at level 67 with a +9 weapon using this technique, purely because I wanted to speedrun to him and steal his build.
- Anonymous
Jump on the large rock to the left of where you spawn in, he always circles around it before jumping up, which gives you lots of time to setup or catch your breath. If you're fond of dragonbreath attacks, its the place to do it so long as you start before he does his first hop up. If he already has, he'll get to you before its ready. Start before that first hop - its really noticeable when he does it - and you can nail him everytime. Moonveil is also incredibly useful against him especially if he does a jump attack as he'll have no defense against it's R2 Skill vertical wave, and the R1 wave also works fairly well against his bloodhound step as he always seems to dodge just inside of where it extends to and gets nicked by it.

Spam lighting spear when you get some distance, also you can comet azur in the begging of the fight while he pose.
- Anonymous
Wing of Astel's weapon art completely cheesed this fight for me. Just stay at medium range and bait him to walk in as he won't dodge the explosive smog.
- Anonymous
chain Giant Hunt when he is running at you
put bleed on the weapon for hemorrhage
- Anonymous
any long weapon + Giant Hunt (I used Cross-Naginata +15)
he reads the input and will bloodhound step towards you* even when the attack hasn't started, which locks him out of dodging or doing anything. he will then be impaled.
chain Giant Hunt until he is dead.
put bleed on the weapon for extra damage on the hemorrhage
*make sure you do Giant Hunt when he is running towards you

he deadass ****ing JUMPED over a night sorcery this mf reads inputs

dose the red summon sign for his fight still appear even though i never got his red letter due to the oversight of not turning in previous letters and killing Rykard anyways lol ?
- Anonymous
Invisible sorceries work a treat (he makes no attempt to dodge) - I just spammed night shard while jumping away. The only relevant talisman I had equipped is stamina regen; magic boosting physick; offhand staff of loss, main hand the renala boss staff +9; 60 int; ~25 mind, only needed 1 mana flask.
- Anonymous
Absolutely trivialised with the Spiked Pallisade Shield (cold affinity works well) and Shield Crash AoW. Just repeatedly push him over until he is dead, he won't even get a chance to attack, or to heal himself.
- Anonymous
this mother****er breaks my poise even with a greatshield and then chugs his flask once and is back to full health, also reads inputs like crazy
- Anonymous
Surprised no one has mentioned that this character is weirdly similar to Belmont from Castlevania
- Anonymous
Me and Juno staring at each other after I cheesed him with the rocks and rotten breath
- Anonymous
Climb the rocks immediately to the right of the summon sign as soon as you enter. He won’t be able to reach you and you can easily snipe. Frenzied burst made him easy
- Anonymous
If you already defeat Rykard, can you still invade this guy?

Does anyone else notice he only drops 158 runes whereas Diallos, if he defended the jars, drops a Numen's Rune worth 12500 runes? Turns out that in the end, he wasn't as insignificant compared to his brother as he thought...
- Anonymous
Its bad enough he actually hits harder than real bosses while also having more HP than actual bosses, but he also has Bloodhound Step with infinite FP. He doesn't just have any BHS, though. He can animation cancel his so you can't even bait an attack and then hit him with the pot to stop his Estus chugging or spells because he will always dodge it. In fact, the pot doesn't work on him even if you do hit him. I forced him to jump up on a little mound there and hit him square mid chest and it went straight through him. I've tried no lock throwing the anti-estus pot at the ground as he dashes to it and it shows the smoke on him then it vanishes. This NPC actually cheats. Best method is spam rotten breath at start and turn on netflix as you run for the next several minutes.

man dual bleed weapons and bloodhound step, someone give this guy an originality award

This fight showcases why darksouls should be done. Miyazaki is showing his age and the lack of creativity he has at the bottom of his well. The further we get down the darksouls/er path - the less creative and more annoying the titles get. "difficult" is one thing. This fight is something else. (as a melee character). It's lazy af.
Dragonclaw + Rivers spam made it easy for me. 2 claw attacks and 1 Corpse.
Rinse and repeat.

Godskin Peeler's Black Flame Tornado made this fight super easy - for those losing their mind.

Give this guy heal on hit like malenia Fromsoft because bleed + high damage + long range + bloodhound step is too easy for a player to deal with

I've been reluctant to kill Juno on my first play-through because I thought it might affect Diallos' story negatively. Now that Diallos has died, I remain hesitant still because Juno could be the last blood-line of the House of Hoslow.
Was dreading re-fighting this dude after how difficult he was on my first character with light dex weps. I'm using colossal swords this run and had an ez time Giant Hunt spamming him to death lol
- Anonymous
Honestly sucks that there is 0 interaction with him. Nothing happens if i wear Diallos' helm or finishing his quest at Jarburg.
- Anonymous
the fact that he rejected the invitation to be champion, he looked for a mark of murder, poor guy
- Anonymous
While Bloody Crow of Cainhurst was worse than this, this ****ing guy has bloodhound step on him which makes him impossible to hit most of the time with a melee characters. But at least there are good ashes of war with good range against him

Literally cheating. I can very clearly see his weapon not hitting me, yet here I am with no status ailments and still dying from something that isn't happening. Great job FromSoft.
- Anonymous
Was fighting him, has about 25% health left. He was easy 50 feet away from me, did not swing, and I just fell over and died.

Any squishy incantation caster can cheese him in tandem with Rot Breath and then spamming Unendurable Frenzy. Works wonders.
- Anonymous
Just another loser that spams bleed attacks while dodging infinitely. Love that he can also dodge out of healing but I can't.
- Anonymous
His armor descriptions make him sound like a cool dude. Almost sorry I killed him.
"Juno Hoslow had a younger brother who was all talk and no trousers. His inability to commit to action was such that Juno inherited the Hoslow legacy without resistance, granting him the freedom to shower his little brother with adoration."
"When Juno Hoslow received an invitation to the Volcano Manor, he discreetly refused. "I have already walked many a road drenched in blood, yet never would I consider myself a champion."
- Anonymous
Even FromSoft knows how broken Bloodhound Step is that they gave it to a guy with high range who just spams it endlessly.
- Anonymous
**** this dude, has more health than any boss ive fought so far
- Anonymous
Somebody died to this guy to get his picture. Now that’s dedication.

halo scythe weapon art spam works pretty well took me 3 tries
- Anonymous
I used claymans spear with poison mist. Use the mist ash, juno will almost always bloodhound away, if not you'll hit with the weapon, bonus. Otherwise he'll close distance right after your swing. Through the mist. Wait for him to get around half, when he backs up without you attacking he's ab to heal, rush and interrupt, repeat.
- Anonymous
I beat him with his own tactic but my way. I kept me distance and spammed rock sling. If you have high enough dex/int you can just rain rocks on him casually and be done with it

this guy showcases why bloodhound step needs to be nerfed so well he deserves an applause
- Anonymous
I used rotten breath (for as long as I could) right at the start, if you time it well he will run through and you can dodge right at the end.
It was a matter dodging and getting a few hits in every now and then.
- Anonymous
Easier wag for me was to wait for an attack, dodge at him and hit him with my Greatsword, he would stun lock for a few hits and then dodge way and I'd repeat. hope that helps
- Anonymous
This guy is either a pathetic pushover or completely unfair depending on your build and his AI rng.

- Anonymous
I had rivers by the time I got him and I just wa spammed him
- Anonymous
Someone mentioned it earlier but jump attacks are strong against this guy. I struggled against him I used more jump attacks
- Anonymous
another good way to cheese this guy is with Raptor of the Mists and some boluses
Being a human type NPC enemy and vulnerable to status effects I thought I wouldn't have too much trouble with him. I was wrong, I used the physik with cerulian hidden tear and tried to hit him with Ekzykes decay as soon as I was able but I don't know if he was using bloodhound's step to avoid the worst of it but I didn't once manage to inflict scarlet rot on him. So if anyone is planning something similar, have a back up just in case.
