Elden Ring Land Octopus Notes & Tips
- They are also frequently accompanied by Giant Land Octopuses which can be quite dangerous.
- They appear to be similar to the Kraken enemies from King's Field, an early From Software Game.
- Only the 5 small octopus in Altus Plateau, in the small canyon with the statue where the Amber Starlight was found drop this. It is located northeast from the Altus Highway Junction Site of Grace. Head east and then the road will break off north into an narrow canyon which becomes a tunnel and then opens back up into a small roofless cave.

It says they exist in the Altus Plateau but I have checked every water area in Altus and can't find any. Either this is misinformation or it needs to clarify where they are, especially if it's going to list that these drop sacramental buds.

Very weak to frost. A simple cold dagger can basically frostbite even the big ones in one hit. Combine this with the chilling mist ash of war and fire's deadly sin and you can deal massive fire/frost DPS very quickly by just existing its almost goofy how ridiculous it is.

I watched this guy fight the land octopus nearby. His charged sword attack which he uses below 50% hp dealt 3455 damage to it.
I hit the same land octopus with my slash/fire weapon and dealt under 50% of my listed damage against it. Does this suggest his raw damage on that attack is 7000? It would explain all the comments on him causing one shots even against tanks.
I saved the footage just in case.

These guys will just randomly do an attack that will absolutely f%k your day.
