Page is a Humanoid Enemy in Elden Ring. Pages are servants of the nobility and are mindful to keep them out of harm's way. The unassuming sack-like appearance befits their unseen and unknown stature. Pages can often be found playing a flute by their own, however they will attack if become aware of your prescense. There is a stronger variant, called High Page.
The spirit of a Page can be summoned for aid in battle by using Page Ashes.
...Pages who serve the nobility and are mindful to keep them out of harm's way. Uses a piercing sword and crossbow to defend [their] master.

ABSORPTIONS
- Phy (Standard): 0
- Phy (Slash): 0
- Phy (Strike):10
- Phy (Pierce): 0
The absorption numbers are the % of your damage that gets blocked. For example, if an absorption is 60, 40% of that damage by that type will go through and 60% is absorbed. Bigger number = less damage. An absorption of 100 means no damage goes through, and a resistance of -100 mean the enemy takes 2x damage from that source. 0 means damage goes pretty much as is.
RESISTANCES
Poison: 170 - 200
Scarlet Rot: 170 - 200
Hemorrhage: 227 - 267
Frostbite: 227 - 267
Sleep: 227 - 267
The resistance numbers are the buildup amount to trigger it. For example, if a resistance is 100 you must deal 100 points of whatever aux buildup to trigger it. Note that these go down over time, and increase each time the effect procs.

Page Notes & Tips
- The Pages found in Caria Manor have 800hp and drop
388 Runes.
- They do not drop the Soldier's Crossbow they use, instead dropping the Red Branch Shortbow for some reason. They also do not drop the Estoc they use.
- The ones in Leyndell occasionally play the flute, accompanying background music of Leyndell, Royal Capital.

I like to bully them with collosal weapons that I don't meet the stats for if one kills me. it's fun to just torture them for a couple minutes when they kill you with their shitty crossbow

"aw man i kinda feel bad about drowning leyndell and all its inhabitants in ash just to be elden lord, but on the other hand that did just kill all those pages permanently so..."

They sound alot like women when attacked based on their grunts.
Move over Melina, Ranni, Rya, Tanith, Fia, Sellen, Melania...
All Rise for the true best girls.

Seeing as Page's are knights in training, I assumed these guys were just any of the Lordsworn Knights in their training phase. Seeing as they're, in some cases, stronger than the knights and it's not in their armor descriptions, I think these are just a seperate jobline. Becoming a knight would almost be a downgrade. Blessed be their 3-round burst hand cannons.

one of these droped 5 rimed crystal buds in caria manor near loretta

Why the **** do they have SO much poise that they are poising through a dual wielded colossal weapon? They're literally just wearing ****ing rags and to top it off they have a long range multi hit nuke as if they weren't pieces of **** enough.
- Anonymous
I'm convinced the reason Perfumers carry a shield is because they don't trust the Pages and might need to parry at some point.
- Anonymous
Whoever made this ***** literally is so stupid. Crucible Knight has 80 poise, is 8 feet tall and armored in heavy metal. This guy is 5 foot, armored in cloth and has 65 poise. Give me a reason it should be more than 10.
- Anonymous
If anyone was wondering: the Pages in the Tombsward Ruins do drop the bow. Just had it drop for me there. Cheers.
- Anonymous
A quick note, these guys appear to have infinite poise on some attacks so counter hits can lead to an untimely death.

Pages and High Pages are my favourite enemies because they took basically an old pvp build which was poise estoc which ment they could just keep on stabbing the **** out of most people without flinching and winning the trades, now because they are AI controlled they gave them a crossbow to make you have to engage them in melée in which they will always make you sweat.
something to note, they have the crossbow in the right hand and the estoc in the left hand, it could possibly be that these guys are actually supposed to be ranged enemies and they just keep the estoc handy to ward you off.

I fell off my horse near one of these guys and found out they can do critical hits...
- Anonymous
These guys LITERALLY have as much poise as Knights. It takes the same sequence of charged R2s to stance break them. I wonder what the thought process was behind giving them so much poise and mobility.

They wouldn't be so bad if they could be stunned, but these guys take a knife to the face like a fresh summer breeze

Crossbows when they use it: a minigun with explosive rounds
Crossbows when you use it: a slingshot with marshmallows for ammo
- Anonymous
They are bald under their hoods, thats what being maidenless does to you. Remember, never use pulley crossbow

Have problems with this fellas? Just don't get hit! Pages can not legally damage you if you don't get hit by them!
- Anonymous
So we can somehow stagger and pancake a 10 foot armored werewolf but these midget mfs in standard clothes won't even react getting hit by an enormous hammer. I am not convinced their hyperarmor was intentionally designed.
- Anonymous
I forgot that they are left-handed. Estoc in the left hand, crossbow in the right hand.
I wish we can make our character left handed too so I can cosplay them accurately :/

They change their attack pattern depending on your button inputs. If you like to parry, they add annoying delays between each strike to mess up your timing. If you like to guard counter, then they'll start attacking relentlessly, so you don't get a chance to pull of a successful (unless you have a ton of poise to avoid stagger). Then, as most people are probably aware, they destroy your health bar if you're too far away from them with the exploding bolts. It's like they're specifically designed to counter everything you do, which is strange considering they're just a normal enemy.

Everyone complaining about the enemy, but I just like the flute. Very nice, very calm. :)

Another trrash mob who can oneshot you at 60 vigor. WELL DONE DEVS. SUPERB!

Was felling really good after killing that gargoyle first try then down the stairs I see a page, i think oh poor guy I feel bad for you I'll give you a fast death. Next thing I remember is YOU DIED in my screen

For being a simple page, they fight better than all the actual soldiers and knights going around.
The Lands Between are mysterious, indeed.

Normal Game Dev: Lets make a decent enemy
Miyazaki: Lets make an enemy that has hyper armor with cloth, spams explosive insta-kill bolts at 40 hp and lets have him get buffed with attack boosts and hardtears by perfumers roaming the area. Lets make them do more damage and have more hyper armor than Leyndell Knights.

One screw up and you take 3 crossbow bolts that kill you instantly
- Anonymous
Poise isn't the only thing that's broken with these guys. They can track your direction through most of their attacks, and their chains have timing that's just longer than one roll, but too short to start another. So there's no dodging around them, and there's no dodging through the attacks either.
- Anonymous
One of my top favorite enemies. Along with fire monks, living jars, and lightning rams
These things feel like they're broken, one area they'll be paperweights with needles. The next area they'll be poise gods with 2 shot crossbows that make zero noise and can stab you during riposte.
they sound like kids when theyre being attacked. makes sense given their name but still sad
Remember those invaders in one of the Dark Souls games, who had poise FAR beyond what their armours and rings could possibily provide? Let's just say they must be proud of these guys.
- Anonymous
These poisey boys may be wielding a flimsy estoc and wearing the Kohl's fall back to school collection, but they can take a giant crusher to the face and not even flinch. Marika save you if you make the mistake of being aggressive just to get a volley of perfoomer bolts injected directly into your vital organs.

There needs to be information on the Page's that are in Leyndell Royall Capital since those have a triple shot fire crossbow and are clearly different from the others in the game. I am not totally sure but I came here looking for information about the aforementioned version of the Page as since patch 1.04.1 I cannot seem to survive the triple shot on any of my characters and I cannot stagger them with any of them either. Its feeling odd getting snipe one shot turning corners with 1800 HP and Heavy armor. Its also feeling odd hitting them with a +10 Tree spirit Hammer and not staggering them on a STR, FTH build with 50/30. I only think this is new to patch 1.04.1 since on my first 2 plays before this patch I do not even remember these enemies, while they have me scared to enter rooms on my current 2 playsthroughs.

Another thing to watch out for, if your on horseback and get knocked off near one of these guys, they do a critical strike on you. Never had this happen with any other enemy, even when I was surrounded by several at once. So yea, between their weird stagger resistance and that, fun times.

think these guys are bugged, colossal hammer won't even poise break them and they're not even wearing heavy armor. misplaced decimal or something? there's some pretty questionable decisions in this game but nothing too bad tbh, I doubt FS would intentionally design this like this. If im wrong though, I gotta wonder what tf they were doing. I can imagine miyazaki "lol theyre complaining about ds3 poise again. if ur not busy at the studio make the cloth armor give more poise than the knights lmao"

Poking with a rapier from behind a shield staggers them effectively

Where's my burst fire crossbow? Can you dual wield crossbows is that an effective thing?

Poise broke this mf. Not with my charged R2s from my brick hammer, no no. Banished Knights Halberd R1s all the way baby. That weapon is broke AF for poise damage, but ill take it

These enemies are most likely kids. Look at their armor descriptions and listen to their high-pitched voices, and you'll see what I'm talking about.
I know you people probably don't care that much, but I just wanted to point that out.
- Anonymous
Square Off R2, then immediately follow up with Square Off R1 will break their stance allowing for a critical hit. These guys really have no business having more poise than soldiers in medium armor. They have equivalent poise to Leyndell Knights.
- Anonymous
There is another version of them in the capital called "High Page" and the only difference is the hood and sleeves on the chest piece is white. There's only one that I know of and it's where you go to open the big gate that leads to the round table in Leyndel

Poise through all of your attacks including charged heavy then jump backward to one-shot you with their crossbows...
- Anonymous
Crazy that people will complain about any enemy they can't mindlessly steamroll. I liked their challenge, but never really struggled with them, you just have to learn their moveset and counter accordingly, like you would a boss or mini boss. If you mindlessly swing at him yeah you're going to die.

This enemy is abnormally strong compared to the cleanrot knights they're positioned nearby. almost feels like their power was a bit of an oversight. Visually their outfit has no business affording them as much poise as they have- at least no more than the cleanrot knights.
This enemy genuinely makes no sense. Overtuned for no particular reason. I'm not new to soulslikes so I'm used to bullshit here and there but this actually just feels like a mistake. Feel like I'm fighting havel but without the things that made havel- havel.
I could even let the nonsensically high damage rapier they have slide if they at least staggered at all. Just feels outta place when I can stagger a full plate big ass cleanrot knight so pitifully easy and then you run into him and he's not wearing armor as heavy as that but withstands everything.
- Anonymous
Full heavy armor, high vigor, 50% resistances and that triple crossbow shot still one shots me. I can't ****ing wait for someone to make a mod to reduce late game enemy damage, it's not fun.
- Anonymous
Weak to pierce attack. I poke them with spear and they flinched everytime
- Anonymous
Is it even possible to stagger them??? I hit one with a jump attack, 6 or so R1s and then another jumping attack all with lordsworn great sword held in 2 hands and I couldn't do it. I can stagger freaking knights with half as many hits.

Be me.
Be in Leyndell Capital.
Explore a bit, gain a fair bunch of runes.
Kill everything effortlessly.
Find a room with 2 perfumers and one of these guys.
Rush in with powerstance and vaporize the perfumers before they get a chance to start polluting the environment.
Face the Page.
He starts thrusting his rapier, but I stay barely outside his range so he misses every single thrust.
As he uses the final thrust, roll through it and use an attack.
He instantly jumps back, shoots 3 times with the crossbow before my animation recovers and instantly kills me through veteran armor and 40 vigor from full health.
Close the game.
Lay down in bed.
Question life choices.
Fall asleep.

My current pick for most obnoxious regular enemy in the game. Too much health, too much poise, their crossbows hit like a truck, and if you get close the can still mess you up with their rapier. I have more deaths to these *******s than any boss.
- Anonymous
someone explain to me how and why these scrawny little dipshits with cloth armour and a rapier has 70 billion poise.
literally feels like a bug
