Moonrithyll's Knight Sword is a Colossal Sword in Elden Ring. It is a brand new Colossal Sword in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. The Moonrithyll's Knight Sword scales primarily with Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence and is a good Weapon for Strength/Intelligence Builds.

She was also a friend to the trolls, who served the royal family, and proudly wielded their weapons as she fought arm in arm with her gargantuan comrades.

I think everyone is a little too upset about this. I think FromSoft realized thier mistake with the troll knights sword and gave it an actual unique ash, sure it may be the same weapon basically but it’s not like we were expecting something else from a carian knight

Pity that they didn't at least swap the dex & int scaling. There is a part of me that wants to use this with a carian knight build, but the lack of int scaling really hampers that idea. Does anyone know how much poise damage the AoW does?

Could've made this weigh less, but PLEASE don't nerf it's overall size it's already among the smallest of all colossals

Something to keep in mind guys, sure it's the troll knight sword again, but you essentially get to use impaling thrust on it with the follow up from the AoW, which (could) be fairly strong on a colossal.
Though with it's low range compared to almost all the other colossal swords it won't really elevate the Carian UGS series any higher

Exact same as the troll knight sword down to the damage and weight, ash of war is better of course but like really??? This may very well be one of the laziest things I've seen in awhile

If fromsoftware didn't have to design this unique weapon, the DLC would have been released half a year earlier.

It’s normal to reuse some textures and assets in video games, other wise, games would take so much more time to release, in the dlc you can see a lot of reuse content but can see so much new content too. It is not a big deal

So it's the exact same thing, except a different skill because you can't change the art of war for somber weapons.
Really? We needed a whole new weapon for that? Can't have some other distinction if we're going to have another weapon?

Sadly no elevators to cheese this Carian Knight, but her lack of parries means she dies like all others to UGS R1 spam

this and the bonny knife are the most unique weapons in the game, if only there were more exactly like them

You hatin too much.
Lets pretend Troll Knights Sword doesnt exist: "oh my god! That sword carian knight trolls use! And it has this huge greatblades and thrust forward for a skill like no other colossal!"

As hilarious a reskin as this is, I'm willing to give Fromsoft the benefit of the doubt here. And not just because they're Fromsoft.
Every so often, as release dates near, things need prioritized.
So it's entirely possible we may get a unique skin for this sword in a future update.
(making noise about it doesn't hurt though lol)

What's the point of somber weapons having a fixed skill if they're just going to copy it with a different skill?
- Anonymous
Why didn't they just make the Troll Knight's Sword have this aow in the first place? And the same model too, really From?

It's impressive how dedicated From Software is to not buffing Troll Knight's Sword

this is AoW i wanted for the trollknight sword since launch!

A literal exact copy of an existing weapon with a unique name and AoW? Did they consult with Bethesda on this?

They could’ve at least changed the colors a bit…
