For the millionth time, both of these swords should have been one weapon. The AoW should have been a stance where you can choose between either the consort combo or the lightspeed slash. The damage should have been either all holy or all magic, not magic on regular moves and holy on AoW's. The moveset should NOT be powerstanced colossal swords, that moveset is terrible. It should have either been paired curved greatswords, or hell, the way cooler option, the ringed knight paired greatswords moveset from dark souls III. That moveset makes perfect sense for this weapon, its how Radahn swings the swords around in the fight. CURRSSSEEE YOUUU FROMSOFTTTTT

Pls update page. It weighs 19 not 20. Same as lord version. Idk why it would be heavier
- Anonymous
I'd give my left nut if they just reworked both versions into curved greatswords.

Amazing how this has no redeeming qualities. Lord version exists, with Promised Consort being 1:1 to Radahn's combo in his fight, and it utterly spanks on a Str/Int build. This ? No clone. Barely enough damage. Called "Lightspeed Slash" and it's so stupidly slow. I know I'm preaching to the choir here but you have exactly zero reason to pick this over Lord Radahn's Greatsword.

You hate this sword because it isn’t one weapon with a stance, I hate this sword because you don’t clone yourself in the AoW like radahn does when he uses this attack
We are not the same
- Anonymous
Just checked in game it weighs 19, the same as the lord version.
- Anonymous
I was thinking one of the swords will do the multiple downward slash/crash that he does after throwing the purple rocks. Or at least create an after image after dashing to a straight line
- Anonymous
I wish his second swords had his double lion claw skill, slower but with more stance damage
- Anonymous
Just a suggestion for both the "Light" and "Lord" version, I highly recommend you invest at least 35 endurance, wear medium armor, and then attach the Great Jar talisman, the rest of the talismans you can use whatever you want. Then equip Radahn's "Light" swords in your right hand, then the "Lord" variant in your off hand. This way, you can press R1/RB and swing the "light" sword one handed, then press L1/LB to slam both swords down. It's a little odd, but hey, you might throw some of the opposing players in a loop!

This is why I Ctrl C and Ctrl V that remembrace of Miquedahn.
Not even worthy to try and fight him again just for this.
I don't even see people using this, besides Prod anyways.
- Anonymous
This weapon is missing a couple thousand base dmg from its AOW...
Why is it so bad?? What is the incentive to use this over the "Lord" version????

I think that these two weapons represents Elden Ring wonderfully, it might look cool and shiny from the outside, but upon a closer inspection it reveals itself to be a copy and pasted disappointment, very flashy, but with no real substance.
- Anonymous
fanboys will delude themselves into thinking that this is a good weapon and that it was worth the dozens of attempts to get the remembrance

It's a sword that evokes light, it has magic damage, but it doesn't need faith, but it needs intelligence? :O

Well, this is a bit of a let down. Two of the same weapon that are reskins of a weapon we already had, with the same moveset apart from the ash…
I was thinking too much, but i was hoping, with how cool LGS, swift spear, and BHB are, that young Radahn’s gravity blades would use the gravity magic glyphs on the blades, which would be more intact unlike starscourge radahn’s swords, to make them lighter, giving them a uniquely faster moveset that matches some of Radahn’s attacks…
- Anonymous
would have been cool if the ash on this did the attack where radahn jumps into the air and flings boulders. if this is gonna be separate from the lord version, at least give it something other than a similar looking light beam attack
- Anonymous
Is it even a single person using this in 2024?
Maybe we need to wait until 2026 for everyone to use at least once this?
- Anonymous
this thing makes the wolf ring in ds3 look viable, also obligatory 100 new weapons joke
- Anonymous
Nah, I killed him for his fit and nothing else. If I wanted to use his sword, I would've used his REAL sword so I could scream at people, as I've always wanted to do.

PCR (Promised Consort Radahn): [does wide arc swings, thrusts, lion's fang, sweeps, slams and starscourge howl]
Tarnished: [slam... sweep... slam...]

the most ass weapon you can get after defeating one of the hardest boss in the game.
buff did little to nothing. still hits like wet noodles compared to the boss. weapon skill could've easily been a stance skill with lord version. no unique light attack or heavy attack + dogwater scalings.
what a disappointment of a remembrance boss weapon even more so than other DLC boss weapons. needs complete rework from ground up.

I think these should've had the spinning gravity slam radahn starts the fight with. This weapon skill can't hold a candle to the lord variant.
- Anonymous
Interesting that it notes both the greatswords with Miquella's needles on them as the ones wielded by Radahn right before he conquered the stars; and that he didn't rely on "physical strength and gravity alone". Miquella aided him in stopping the stars, maybe?

Fromsoft naming convention nonsense strikes again.
It's not a Greatsword, it's not a Light Greatsword and it's not even lighter than than any of the other two Radahn sword weapons. In fact, it's heavier than the Lord Greatsword.
- Anonymous
At the very least they could've given one of these pairs bleed buildup and the bloodflame slashes as the Skill, so together with the Starscourge Greatswords they could represent all three elements Radahn uses in the fight. Or, you know, given them Holy damage and Fai scaling to match the literal holy damage skill. Anything at all so they're not literally just the Starscourge Greatswords again with a different skill.

Whoever hired the convergence mod guy just to add these modded ass weapons and final boss should be fired, ****ing 40 usd and 2 years for this ****

Sorry Artorias, Radahn gets SIX swords, have fun with your three, though.

Gave it a whirl (after full playthrough with Lord version which turned out to be one of the best in the game) and I'd say Light still holds up. VERY quick animation, ability to jump over many attacks (both cool and efficient), and quite decent stance damage. The damage itself is fair too, better than most of what DLC offers. Plus it can serve as sudo-heavy attack, since with Radahn weapons the heavies are kind of useless.
Doesn't have the insane output of Lord, but still a really good weapon. Give it a spin at least for those opportunities to deliver good damage from the "jump up" animation.
- Anonymous
There is no point in using these over the lord version. They are exactly the same but the lord’s weapon art does more damage, harder to miss, useful in more situations and it generally better then PvP. This things weapon art is kinda pitiful in the damage compartment and if your just going to use the sword the base game version does the most and is longer.

the swords of a lord who does not rely on physical strength and gravity alone.
Apparently radhan's suppression of stars is a debuff for him.
- Anonymous
Isn't the light standing for miquella's Light?
In the french localisation, it's translated as "légers" meaning that they are light as in not heavy.
Is it that ambiguous in english?
- Anonymous
Charging it should make you do the 3 charges in a row he does in the boss fight, thought for sure that’s what the description meant about more followups

Should've just allowed us to swap the two skills, elden ring: now with monster hunter switch skills

I literally cannot see whats happening on screan if i happen to invade someone using these things, amazing balancing fromsoft
- Anonymous
instead of two copies of the same sword, with extremely similar (looks wise) AoW, I wish we had gotten one that has a gravity AoW, and one with a light AoW
- Anonymous
Somehow, these are inferior damage-wise to the Starscourge Greatsword, even at ideal stats. What was FromSoft thinking?
- Anonymous
I think the weight is supposed to be 19 (compared to the 20 of Radahn GS)
- Anonymous
Looking at the name I was kind of hoping this was a Light greatsword single-version of Radahn's greatswords. Alas.
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
possibly my biggest complaint about the dlc so far is the fact that they make you choose between these two amazing ashes of wars likely to balance it for pvp and i get that but man it would've been really cool to just make this a stance weapon and make L2 R1 do Promised Consort and L2 R2 Lightspeed Slash
- Anonymous
Well the range is better than starscourge, but this WA has less damage than the other one, also it feels easier to dodge. On top of all that, this one has a charged WA which makes you stationary the other versions WA can be stopped or continued based on how many times you tap the button. They really should make only one sword with an stance, didn't know what they were thinking... if not by the range even vanilla version would be objectively better
- Anonymous
really hope they buff the ash of war on this, fully charged with shard of alexander and godfrey icon... it does less damage than a light attack. really disappointing for final boss weapon.
- Anonymous
Incredible theres 3 copy pastes of this weapon now and their only difference is the ash of war, atleast could've changed the r2s or something
They should have made these a part of the curved greatsword class instead of colossal to better reflect his size when not rotted.
And you know.. something else to differentiate between his regular ones.

"the swords of a lord who does not rely on physical strength and gravity alone." What else does this lord rely on? Apparently, miquella's light. More evidence he was not being controlled. These swords imply his autonomy.
- Anonymous
kinda disappointed with the weapons considering that you just beat the hardest boss in the game
- Anonymous
I think the Int scaling here represents the gravity magic for lore reasons. Look at the symbol on the sword. Thats a gravity seal and gravity = magic i think?
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
btw this is a paired greatsword in itself like the starscourge greatswords
that means you can't even logically combine the lord and light variants unless you want to fight with 4 swords in total
- Anonymous
It seems like the Holy damage after the initial hit does almost 0 damage, not sure whats up with that.
- Anonymous
>says greatsword
>is a colossal sword
>looks like a curved greatsword
yea cool
- Anonymous
I really don't get why we needed two weapons with different weapon arts, couldn't they just have made it a stance WA like katanas or SoNaF?
- Anonymous
Why are BOTH of these new swords Int based? Despite using Miquella's holy magic on them?
- Anonymous
> Called (Light)
> Is heavier than its retrained counterpart
light AOW Should be similar to Phantom Slash but updated and more specialized. At least, the charge creates two clones of you, as Radahn did.
