Greatsword of Radahn (Lord) is a Colossal Sword in Elden Ring. It is a brand new Colossal Sword in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. The Greatsword of Radahn (Lord) scales primarily with Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence and is one of the options players can select when trading the Remembrance of a God and a Lord.
Greatswords of black steel wielded by Radahn in his youth.
A pair of weapons decorated with a lion mane motif.
These were in his possession immediately before his triumph over the stars—the swords of a lord who does not rely on physical strength and gravity alone.

Does this deal more damage to gravity type enemies, like the starscourge one?
- Anonymous
If you're on ng+ powerstance freyja swords instead of these for radahn cosplay. Better moveset, better scaling, and any ash of war like Lion's claw and spinning gravity thrust which radahn does.
- Anonymous
This and the other were both as weird a choice of scaling as Rellana's Twin Blades scaling with four different stats. At least, this aow is still good with minimum int.

Weapon: UGS - Scales with quality str/dex
Damage: Phys + Magic hybrid
AoW: Deals Holy - Scales with Int

For a proper promised consort radahn cosplay you need 72 faith for one ass spell, both str and dex equal for good damage, and int to use meteor spells. What the hell fromsoft
I finished the game and didn't know what to do while waiting for Multiplayer activity, so I was just farming for Envoy's Greathorn. I tried for hours and it didn't work and became frustrating because it's so easy to fall off Miquella's Haligtree branches or get killed by the bubbles, so I gave up.
Then I decided to distract myself with the Lord's weapon. I tested the full Promised Consort Combo on the Big Oracle Envoy and killed it. It was the very first try with it and the Envoy's Greathorn dropped immediately. I am certain this was Miquella's will. Heart stolen.

Radahn:
- Does cool movesets
- Even has delayed double attacks, as one sword come first, so the other follows up later
- Can use Blood Flame
- Can jump and use gravity powers on strike
- Can do a "grab attack" by throwing you off the ground to slam you down. But can be defended
- Radahn + Miquella:
- Does a huge area of effect Miquella's Light that you need to start to run right after the attacks is activated, or else, you get hit
- Can shoot Holy Beams
- Can use a Holy Wave that goes to all direction
- Can use Kage Bunshin no Jutsu and do a combo
- Normal attacks has follow up Holy Light Pillars
- Can use the weapon skill in a very tight condition for the player
- Can fly to space and fall like a meteor 3 times in one use
- Can do the cutest smooch grab attack in the world, and it's a insta kill if getting grabbed while under effect of the first one
- Can even do Lion Claw or Savage Lion Claw
Tarnished:
- Basic Colossal Swords akimbo hits
- Does only the weapon art as a spam attack
- Can't do anything that the boss could do, as stated on above
Nice ballance. Really nice.
From Software had all the chances to make this weapon unique, and yet, it's mediocre and too usual as the other Colossal Swords.
Thanks, Miyazaki.

>have to go to Altus (or do Ranni errands) to activate the Radahn festival
>have to do Varre's questline (including killing Godrick) to get to Mohg the "fast" way
>have to kill Mohg, one of the tankier demigods
>have to complete the DLC and gather enough scadu fragments to not get oneshot every second
>have to beat one of the hardest bosses Fromsoft has ever made
>after all of this you finally have it: the legendary weapon of a champion infused with the power of a God
>it's ass
what did Miyazaki mean by this?
- Anonymous
Why does the art do holy damage and the normal attacks do magic damage?
- Anonymous
Slaps in PvP especially in the chaos of an invasion, but in PvE it’s just another dual wield colossal sword this more flashiness of any Radhan himself

I did some very limited testing on Larry the omen from the sewers to see how the AoW compares between a STR/INT and quality build.
From what I've found, it appears that on the STR/INT build you trade a tiny amount of AR for slightly more damage on the AoW. This is because of, as you might have read already, the light pillars scaling with intelligence. On bigger targets than Larry I suspect you should see a pretty noticeable increase in damage output. The sword hits also benefit from multi-hit talismans.
However, on smaller enemies you wouldn't see any major difference because most things die before you get the full combo off. Going quality with the minimum INT requirement gives you more weapon options as well, and with the dexterity requirement being as high as it is, this seems to be the go-to.
- Anonymous
I really wish you could wield both swords on horseback, using left for left attacks
- Anonymous
The weird scaling gives Str/Int builds reliable and powerful Holy damage, without needing to invest a single point in Faith. It makes no sense, sure, but if we're in the boat already, we might as well row. Enjoy your Deathbird spanker, Int builds !
- Anonymous
This weapon is disappointing but there are reasons I like it:
Promised Consort does big boy damage if the entire combo lands
Holy damage from the skill but magic damage from the weapon itself does give it some flexibility
Does less damage than the Starscourge Greatswords for some stupid reason but it isn't by much, and it's made up for by their increased range imo
Yes it definitely should have better scalings and the Light version is perhaps the most useless weapon From has ever made but this thing is still a very powerful option especially on a jump attack build
- Anonymous
Fromsoft once again taking a weapon that should have had int faith scaling and instead adding a bunch of dex scaling for some reason.
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
Single only reason to have wierd scaling is if it was ever good to do a gravity/gold faith build (it’s not)

Alright FromSoft.
You nerfed Radahn to where he's not that bad to fight anymore.
Now all I ask is that you rework the Remembrance swords by:
1): Combining both skills into a stance (really should've been done from the get-go)
2): Make the weapon paired Curved Greatswords (they're *way* thinner than the Starscourge Greatswords)
3): Remove the Int scaling magic damage and replace it with Faith scaling holy damage (the magic damage never really made sense considering Radahn deals primarily holy damage)
4): Increase the scalings overall (so the weapon doesn't deal below-avarage damage, of course)
Do that and Radahn legit becomes a good way to cap off the dlc, bizzare lore aside.
- Anonymous
If I had a niquel for every quality colossal greatsword with low Int scaling that the skill scales solely off of which got copy pasted in this DLC, I would have two niquels
- Anonymous
Could have a different moveset like the Paired Ultras in DS3 Ringed City. What a waste of potential.
- Anonymous
Ever since DS3 most boss weapons have been steadily going down in quality and usability, but not in one hundred years I would have expected it would have ended up coming to whatever this is.
- Anonymous
Lmao imagine if Radahn actually used good weapons, he’d be Elden lord
- Anonymous
I will never understand why this version and the light version couldn’t have just been one sword from the get go? Also, why does the art not scale primarily off of faith, since it’s Miquellas holy light??

I've had pretty good luck defeating furnace golems with the promised consort weapon art
Boss gives 3 separate greatswords that are barely different and not even strong.

This dls is bit undercoocked.
I dont know. Bandai did not give enough time for From?
- Anonymous
why couldnt this be stance based and also faster, yknow, to match pcr's moveset a little better
- Anonymous
So am I just insane or does this skill completely stunlock you if you don't have decent poise.
- Anonymous
These aren't actually just a copy paste of starscourge gs, the handle is slightly different and the blade is thinner and longer. Of course, the lord and light variants ARE identical, but it's not technically the same model as starscourge
- Anonymous
I don't think I've actually hated a weapon before Fromslop dropped these abominations
- Anonymous
So many people complaining about the magic damage. Do you even know the lore?
- Anonymous
I'm not sure, but I tested the ashes of the war of these swords along with the Emblem with the rotten winged sword and Millicent's prosthesis, and it seemed to me that the damage became more. Like, are the rays of light during sword attacks supposed to count as consecutive attacks? Correct me if it really seemed to me, because it is quite difficult to understand. And another point: do the rays really cause holy damage while using the skill? Or is it still magical?
- Anonymous
invaded a consort radahn cosplay who did nothing but spam the skill on this, 10/10 perfect cosplay

I've been wanting a Paired Curved Greatsword for a long time, in a FromSoftware game! When I was fighting the boss and his main attack patterns were the attacks from power-stancing curved greatswords I was like "YES FINALLY! ITS TIME!". So disappointed to see that they were not curved greatswords and that once again I will have to stick to my trusty Fire Omen Cleavers to fit my playstyle Sadge.
- Anonymous
Everything about this weapon both confuses me and pisses me off.
Thinner than Starscourge Greatswords to where it should be paired Curved Greatswords, yet still classified as Colossal Swords, without even at least having a unique moveset to make up for it. Has an Int requirement with Magic damage despite the boss dealing Holy damage, yet the skill deals Holy damage that scales off of Int??? And said skill was clearly meant to be part of a Stance, but was split into two identical weapons with a different skill because god forbid we have some fun after beating the new hardest boss in the game. And of course the lower than average scalings aren't helping anyone here either.
Seriously, everything about this weapon just makes me mad because this weapon could've been mad fun to use, but it feels like the devs went out of their way to "balance" it as much as possible, and it makes me even more mad that this weapon is likely gonna stay this confusing mess for the rest of the game's lifespan. What a shame...

I remember that in DS3 you could fuse togheter Lorian's and Lothric's swords in a singel boss weapon via Soul Transposition in NG+. I think they should allow something like this in Elden Ring as well because as they are these 2 swords are kinda meh.
- Anonymous
If your using this in pvp, i reccomend onehanding it most of the time your using it. Its two handed moveset is horrid and should be swapped two when granted an opening, otherwise use the one handed moveset which is great. I reccomend pairing this with an offhand staff, an offhand weapon like an axe, rapier, or light greatsword, or a small shield for parries.
- Anonymous
It does magic damage???
Istg Fromsoftware is high while designing scaling for weapons
- Anonymous
I would rather go back to ds3 dlc and use the ringed knight greatswords much more satisfying moveset lol
- Anonymous
How it works is normal attacks scale with physical and intelligence and the holy beams scale with intelligence BUT actually deals holy damage... like wtf
- Anonymous
This weapon and its light counterpart make me so angry because not only could they have made these weapons one weapon, THEY LITERALLY DID IT WITH OTHER BOSS REMEMERENCE WEAPONS. Messmer's spear isn't a normal heavy spear, it gets Messmer's coolest move as an ash of war and the heavy attack is a throwing attack like he does in his fight. Not only do Rellana's swords do split magic and fire damage, you can also use both of her moves on the same weapon. But for the hardest boss in the game all you get is a worse version of Radahn's regular greatswords that even with the ash of war deal more magic damage than holy damage. When I originally saw that there were two swords I thought that they were meant to be powerstanced together. I'm so sad that they decided to do this with these weapons.
- Anonymous
Anyone fighting this in PvP: The skill can be dodged in the exact same way as the boss version. The boss page has a step-by-step on how to do it. Look it up.
- Anonymous
Afaik the ash on this seems to scale with different things depending on what the opponent is being hit with. Like the physical hits on the ash seem to be mostly strength while the light beams scale with int. I've been having a great time using this in invasions against people that like to swarm you without too much thought. The extra poise from the ash helps me trade pretty well. Also gets some people panic rolling and then hit some more with the follow up attacks. Against people who know what they're doing and who just play it safe it doesn't seem to work as well.
- Anonymous
Does this thing come paired or do you need the other one as well?
- Anonymous
haha this thing is busted in invasion, not so good in 1v1 because all you need to do is run out of distance.

I think the Lord and Light version's Weapon Arts used to be part of a stance skill, but got separated because it would be giving us too much power.
Well, after surviving the lightshow of death to even get these weapons, I think letting us go on a bit of a power trip ourselves by combining these skills into a stance shouldn't really be out of the question.
Also these swords totally should've been paired Curved Greatswords.
- Anonymous
They dropped the ball with 2 Weapons for the final remembrance. Like others have stated, the skills should have been a stance moveset with both attacks being either the light or heavy. Having 3 versions of Radahn's Greatsword is so strange. Last time they did something like this, was for Artorias Greatsword in Dark Souls 1 and it was hard to make a build for those in that game as well. I'll probably never use these. - Con

Remove the first startup or buff the overall speed and slightly damage increase will make this sword fun

Love these swords, just wish powerstance heavy attacks would use both swords. Feels like an oversight.

Fromsoft would rather make a quality int weapon with a skill that deals holy damage than make a proper int/fth golden order weapon
- Anonymous
Was not expecting this to still be an INT weapon, much less a quality/int weapon. The more you know
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
Very strange to have 2 versions of this with literally only a different weapon skill. Why not just combine them and turn the weapon skill into a stance move that lets you do either?
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
The Design for this weapon (and its counterpary) is a bit more frustrating that the Star Scourge from the base game, being more of a quality weapon and thus less effective.
Scaling is:
Str: .81
Dex: .65
Int: .36
However the Weapon Art scales with Int. So Str should be your primary scaler for basic attacks, followed by Int for the WA as thats really the reason you'd use this weapon.
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
These absolutely should have been Curved Great swords instead of Colossal. Also should do holy damage and faith scaling instead of magic and int so that it actually has synergy with the WA, cause right now its the exact same as the Star scourge Great swords but with worse damage and WA
- Anonymous
Fromsoft making us wait 2 years just to add what feels like modded bosses and weapons, what a ****ing joke
- Anonymous
Idk man this feels kinda lazy, like it's literally just the Starscourge Greatswords but with a different moveset

I love the weapons, both made ng+ very very easy, spam L2 : win, for bosses standard buffs applied, they melt in 20 seconds max.

I genuinely think both Greatswords of Radahn should've had their skills merged to be a stance skill. In fact, I'm almost positive that's what they were before, but split it because they thought it would make us "too OP" or something like that.
After the holy lightshow of death I just went through to even obtain these Greatswords, I think making us "too OP" shouldn't be much of a problem; I just beat the new hardest boss in the game, his weapon should make me feel like a hard boss myself.
- Anonymous
Radahn has truly lived up to his idol Godfrey's legacy because his weapons are now quality build.
- Anonymous
I would've prefered if there two versions of Radahn's weapons.
The Lord version could have a gravity related AOW like the gravity jump and stomp that he does at the beginning of the fight or the movement where lifts up some rocks in the air and then throws them at you.
The light version could have been Promised Consort because, imo, it´s the better of the two skills. Also could have had a faith scaling along with the intelligence one because of MIquella.
IDK i wish they were diferent and not just something that represents only the second phase and that they were more akin to both young Radahn and consort Radahn. Also that they had a different moveset because of their curved-shaped blades instead of the normal dual wield moveset.
- Anonymous
is that the reward for beatin final dlc boss?? cmon that thing us utterly garbage
- Anonymous
The ash of war consumes way too much stamina for the damage it does when comparing to others with similar damage
Since they missed the opportunity of making this weapons having a stanced AoW thats the only thing I would change on it
- Anonymous

- Anonymous
Identical moveset to Starscourge greatsword with a worse ash of war, much lower damage, and a lack of meaningful scaling for the weapon art. I wish this was good, but you're better off using Starscourge Greatsword
- Anonymous
They should’ve Twin Prince’d these swords where getting both does something special, not have them be individual pairs. Oh well, I guess. Still fun.
- Anonymous
The AOW is a vortex in PVP. How the hell FROM let this get through is a mystery.
- Anonymous
I wish these were a paired great curved sword weapon instead of a paired colossal.
They even look less bulky than the base game version. so it wouldn't be that far fetched.
- Anonymous
For anyone wishing we didn’t just get a reskin of a weapon from the base game, just use Freyja’s greatsword with the new Savage Lion’s Claw AoW. Looks just like a single Radahn sword and the damage output is insane
- Anonymous
I agree with the comment below, and I also think we should've at least gotten some of his movesets where R1/RB are his light horizontal attacks, and his R2/RT his thrusting attack instead of slamming them down like an angry caveman. That's what axes and hammers are for.
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
Instead of creating 2 the same weapons they could've just make the stance skill, where R1 is 1st one, and R2 is second.
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
I wish instead of them both being paired they were individual and had a unique powerstance moveset
- Anonymous
probably never playing a fromsoft game again if this is the extent of their creativity of their rewards for beating an already obnoxious boss with poor buildup and absolutely no memorability, a spell that genuinely does less damage than spamming rings of light a few times and 2 identical ugs that're just skinny versions of another boss weapon in the base game that don't even have higher ar than it even at "optimal" levels, g ****ing g miyazaki
- Anonymous
At +10, 80 STR / 80 DEX 15 INT, this gets 941 AR, 60 STR / 60 DEX and 50 INT, 910 AR in the lands between (not SOTE dlc world, so without scadutree buffs) No idea about the weapon skill tho, dont know does it scale of INT or total weapon AR, promised consort aow hits like a truck and is boosted by successive attack buffs from talismans and flask. But be prepared to get smacked to the face if u use it against bosses. Basicly, a deathwish. Still like it tho.

- Anonymous
So, after trying this out for the first time, and this is sitting at +9 mind you, these paired colossal swords are mainly a quality build with a touch of magic. So, maybe investing in strength and dexterity, then intelligence off to the side would probably make these a touch more decent. However, I still think it should at least have a B scaling in strength, D in dex, and maybe B in Int because of how hard his magic also hits in the boss fight. Maybe also lower the dexterity requirement from 24 down ten points, 14 dex, that way we'd be able to invest more in intelligence and make it much more viable.

The guard boost stat on this thing is frankly kinda nutty. 57 is higher than a handful of medium shields and higher than a couple greatshields. Not saying you should treat it like a shield, but definitely dont forget you can indeed block with it and block fairly effectively

Guard stats are wrong.
Physical - 63.00
Magic - 51.00
Fire- 33.00
Lightning - 33.00
Holy - 33.00
