Elden Ring Crimson-Sapping Cracked Tear Notes & Tips

  • Restores 0,75% of the maximal HP upon each hit.
  • Duration: 45 s
  • Healing effect is not affected by
    • the damage dealt to the enemy
    • the amount of enemies hit
    • what attack is used (R1, R2 and Weapon Art heal the same amount)

  • At sites of grace, you can mix two crystal tears in the Flask of Wondrous Physick.
  • This will allow you to create elixirs with various custom effects.
  • To deafeat the Furnace Golem more easily, get to high ground (Usually the Spiritspring to the left of the Furnace Golem) and throw a few "Hefty Fire Pot's" or "Hefty Furnace Pot's" into its fire.

Only 0.75-0.8% hp a hit regardless of weapon and attack used for 45 seconds. INDUSTRIAL WASTE. This needs a SERIOUS buff.

Assuming you have 1900 hp, you would be better off having a crimson tear in your flask to heal you 50% of your hp back (950hp) instead of trying to hit a boss 67 times in 45 seconds to get the same 950hp back you could've gotten in a second.

Or if you want health back over time during the boss fight then its better to use the crimsonburst tear that heals 1260hp in 3 minutes.

Now unless you can abuse this using certain Aows, It's truly worthless. I don't want everything to be abused just to be viable. It should've been based on damage you do to an enemy divided by 10. Did 300 damage with your dagger? you get a decent 30 hp back. Did 850 damage with your great hammer? you get 85hp back. That seems well worth the tear slot investment during a boss fight.

Who the hell does balancing at FROMSOFT?!

It gives a flat 15 HP per hit and lasts for 45 seconds, so it's recommended to put them on fast attacking weapons to get the most out of it

Very bad tear. Should've been % based hp regen on weapon type used for 3 minutes to be worth using over the many better tears.

            -Colosal swords/weapons - 3.5%
            -Greataxe, Greathammer - 3%
-Greatswords, Curved Gs, Great Katanas, Halberds, Great Spears,Heavy Thrusting, Reapers, Whips - 2.5%
-Axe, Hammers, Flails, Light Gs, Reapers, Perfumes- 2%
-Straight/Curved Swords, katanas, Fist, Beast Claws, Dryleaf - 1.5%
-Daggers, Claws, Twinblades, Thrusting swords, Backhand Blades - 1%

That would seem balanced considering at 1900hp it would take 3-4 dagger swipes to get 57-76hp back or 1 swing from a colossal weapon to get 66hp back. Fast weapons wont have that much of an edge over slow weapons to get hp back if the hp restored varied.

Someone knows the duration and the healed amount? I guess it would be something like 30s or less. Otherwise you can become Malenia for real
