Enhances attacks at the cost of HP in mixed physick
|
Bloodsucking Cracked Tear is a Crystal Tear in Elden Ring. Bloodsucking Cracked Tear is a brand new Crystal Tear in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Crystal Tears can be mixed in the Flask of Wondrous Physick to enhance its effect.
A crystal tear formed slowly over the ages, where the scattered sap of the Scadutree pools deep within the furnace golems. Can be mixed in the Flask of Wondrous Physick. The resulting concoction temporarily increases attack power but drains HP over time.
Where to find Bloodsucking Cracked Tear
- Ruins of Unte: Defeat the Furnace Golem that requires to be lit by throwing a Hefty Furnace Pot on its furnace head. Killing the creature drops this item, along with x1 Furnace Visage. [See Shadow of the Erdtree Map]

It drains hp massive but attack buff is crazy esp. if u have other buffs also cuz it stacks. very good for speedrunning glass cannon build

At 60 vigor with nothing else boosting it you can outheal this tear by using bestial vitality, blessed dew talisman, icon shield and the crimsonburst tear alongside it. I'm expecting a nerf to the duration coming, 20% buff to all damage for 3 minutes is insane.

As an aside, there seems to be a minimum HP drain of 20 per tick, which I was quite surprised by in my RL1 run because that's closer to 5%, a much scarier trade.
Since folks here are mentioning that the percentage seems malleable, it may be that it takes 20 hp plus some small percentage?

Seems to be a multiplicative 20% damage bonus and the buff seems to not overwrite any other buff.
Combine it with various heals over time and Great Stars and the health drain becomes no issue - in the meantime, 20% more damage. Any damage
Savage Lion's Claw goes brr.....

BTW, the HP drain is very oddly % based... it seems like it's 1% but it's got very wierd rounding properties, at 80 VGR, i have 2015 HP with nothing else boosting it... With Morgott's Rune, i have 2518 HP, the drain with the Rune on is 25hp/s, makes sense.... But without the Rune on... the HP drain is 24hp/s (also changes when lowering/ increasing HP values with talismans, again makes sense) So i'm not entirely sure how the % drain is calculated... but if you can get this low enough to be sustainable like old DS1 Power Within, This tear is absolutely OP, 20% all damage increase for 3 minutes is MASSIVE when you consider that this is it's own buff slot and works with every other type of buff and allows for easy RTSR + Royal Remains set ups...

I threw all of my hefty fire pots onto its top and nothing happened. I don't get it.

Worth noting that it CAN kill you and it does seem to stack with other buffs. Definitely necessary with blessing of the erdtree unless you're going for a one shot set-up.

The HP drain is 23 at 1975 health (60 vig + favor 2), with crimsonburst crystal tear bringin the drain down to 16.

For some reason the damage it does to you slows down while you’re rolling
Goated crystal tear. I updated the page but further testing may be required on the HP drain. When I tested it with 1900 HP I was taking 16 damage per second. Then I put on Twinsage crown and Primal Glintstone Blade for a max hp of 1469. With the lowered HP I was taking only 15 damage per second. Its such a negligible difference that it doesnt matter but worth mentioning.

I do not think hefty fire pots wake it up. I had to use a hefty furnace pot instead.

There's an error on this page. It requires a Hefty Furnace Pot, not a Hefty Fire Pot.

I threw a good 15 Hefty Fire Pots at various parts of this thing's head until I ran out of materials, from the inside of the cauldron to his literal face, and could not get a reaction from it. Where are you supposed to aim?!

Can confirm that it works on AoW. Just tried it out with Wave of Gold against the Albinaurics in Mohg's Palace. Without using the physick, the attack dealt 3045 damage. With the physick activated, it dealt 3345 damage. That's about 10% more damage.
