Silver sword of St. Trina, now stained the color of velvet. Inflicts eternal sleep. When St. Trina was abandoned, the faint, light-purple mists coalesced into an intoxicating deep-purple cloud.

We already have too many straight swords, they could easily make this a light greatsword. Its not even that strong of a status effect so at lesst make it versatile ffs

They could have give it more int scaling to diversify from the other sword...it would be 1 more alternative in this DLC for true int builds, beside the ice profume and the shield...

I wonder if it is possible to give everyone eternal sleep in the fight against Leda and if anything would change if it were possible
- Anonymous
It actually does puts enemies to permanent sleep, but not all of them. Some of giant type enemies(trolls, runebears, etc.) just sleeping a quite longer, then wake up, so unfortunately you can't have a pajama party with bunch of trolls at the Stormhill :( Still pretty dope for the Mace Windu cosplay.

I will now dedicate my playthrough with this weapon to make Saint Trina wishes fullfilled.

so is sleep/eternal sleep like poison/deadly poison (same bar but whichever gets the triggering hit is the one that procs) or does it have its own bar
- Anonymous
Man, they should've kept the effect where Mists of Eternal Sleep would buff your offhand weapon too. Actually would've given this weapon a unique identity instead of just being "slightly better Sword of St. Trina."

Stone coffin fissure grace isn’t the closest fissure cross is

But does the swords status effect also stack with the regular Sword of St. Trina? Or are those 2 different effects (Sleep / Eternsal Sleep)

someone should change the 'north' in the where to find section to 'north west'

Spare me from this tragedy
I am longing for eternal sleep
To the edges of eternity
I shall break the chains that hold me down under the weight...

How good is to dual wield the base game st Trina sword and this st Trina sword?
- Anonymous
Walk Northwest and there is a building that you can climb down
- Anonymous
it's west of the grace below the big coffin, down some platforms. Wrong info currently.

DLC should of gave us more sleep options. 1 sleep spell like a big transparent blanket that comes down and casts AOE sleep buildup. 1 sleep light greatsword and 1 sleep perfume. Perfection

Why did they not make this a light greatsword? We already have a sleep straight sword.
- Anonymous
By the way I found a use for this. The big red bears are incredibly weak against sleep. Dual wield both trina swords, use the ash of war and wear the talisman.
I procced sleep two times which immediately broke the bears guards.

"Eternal sleep" doesn't effect Godskin Noble or Apostle. They still fall asleep but it is not permanent. Its just regular sleep. Givin they are bosses, I'm not surprised but figured I'd test it out anyway. However, from what I tested. Eternal sleep lasts 10 seconds longer than regular sleep.

This is absolutely horrible, Fromsoft dropped the ball HARD with sleep in this game..
- Anonymous
What they should have done to make this an upgrade over the base game sword isn't giving it a stronger-only-in-PVE version of the Sleep effect, but have it scale off Arcane instead of Intelligence so that when you make a build around it, you would also be better at procing the status.

Cant believe sleep got a weapon while madness got a fist and torch

At 10, D/D/D meaning if you're int it's like 30% worse than moonveil. God I am growing to hate moonveil.

As nice as this design is, I'm pretty disappointed that for a DLC with a character with heavy sleep theming, we got only two weapons, one of which has the exact same moveset and skill as a weapon already existing in the base game. Only difference is stats and it's "eternal sleep" instead of "sleep". Call me crazy but I was hoping for an infusion of some kind or a perfumer bottle for it.
Oh well, I guess at least I can power stance this with regular St. Trina's now without the help of a friend giving me a second.

I am utterly depressed about the state of this weapon. I dunno if this is a bug, but after spending four AoW attacks on a fire knight the effect is: The enemy staggers. The damage is absolutely abysmal, the moveset is standard and not even scaling can redeem it. I wanted to use it so bad, because I really love the design and lore, but I just dunno how to utilize this thing effectively

Honeslty Im suprised how badly they treated Sleep stuff considering questline. Its still almost worthless to use, heaviuly limited and most characters wont be affected by it
- Anonymous
But where do I get it? 'I need it, and can't find it, I've searched the Coffin inside and out T_T
- Anonymous
Cool design, but basically has the same meh scaling as the St Trina sword in the base game.
Should have been mostly an INT weapon or INT/FTH to spice it a little. Even the AoW does the same.

Oh so when Miquella abandoned his other half, both of their traits intensified. Miquella became obsessed with Radahn becoming his lord, and enforcing his kindness on the world, while Trina went from a goddess of sleep and respite to a god of sleep as death. It's like Miquella lost his calm and level-headedness arguably also his humanity, while Trina lost some of the light he brought to the equation.
Miquella threw off their balance
