What spirits do you guys recommend using these in? (I already used one in the mimic tear)
- Anonymous
I used all and used in mimic as usual, then in Rollo because I used him the most, then in Tiche because Malenia remembered me I have such OP summon, and Nightmaiden and Swordtress puppets because who don't wanna get company of 2 BIG strong and beautiful women?

Very strange that these are available so early compared to the grave gloveworts. You'd think it would be the other way around, given just how capable some special ashes are at playing the game for you

You can get 2 Great Ghost Glove warts from boss at Consecrated Snowfield Catacombs it doesn't say it other than the four locations

For the glovewart in mohgwyn's palace the mausoleum soldiers or greatshield bros spirit ashes are all good choices to help with the sanguine nobles that spawn in the dark tunnel. Also, the noble that spawns nearest the merchant will spawn a second time when you exit the merchants inventory not just from a grace reset.

just so you guys know you cant get the sacred ground one if you havent done ranni's quest

It's says the chest with the fingerslayer blade can't be re-looted for the ghost glovewort....does that mean you only get 4 on your first playthrough? It's not there in NG+? I am guessing that is what it means cause I am missing one on my second playthrough.

Strange. I've triple checked all these locations before I move to NG+ and I seem to be missing one somehow... I've only upgraded Mimic to 10+ and only have 2 in my inventory.

Crumbling Farum, there is one. The area at the end of where you first encounter the skeletons, before you reach the Dragon Temple site of grace, you'll see a hole by a big skeleton near a pillar. Drop down there and you'll eventually end up in an area with skeletons hanging of the ceiling and a treasure chest at the end of a hallway. There you will find number 5.

To clarify why there are some people saying they found many more than 4 in one playthrough, they didn't. They didn't read properly either. There are two different mats with similar names...
Great GHOST Glovewort, and Great GRAVE Glovewort.
You can tell the Spirits were a last ditch effort..only 4 of these.

I have currently finished playthrough 3 and have upgraded as many ashes as I could to level 10 and have 15 special ashes at level 10 and 19 normal ashes at level 10 there there must be 5 great ghost glovewort I don't keep track of where I find these items but it must be out there somewhere

I don't understand why the mausoleum one doesn't respawn. it's the only 1 which is not in a chest and it's a normal flower like the others which respawn

I've found a total of 6 Great Grave Gloveworts, but I do not recall where I found them all.

Please if anyone knows where to find a 5th Great Ghost Glovewort, I would appreciate your generosity sharing the location.

There are some rumours (and comments below) about a fifth Great Gosh, I haven't found it. Does anyone knows where this one might be?
I have one great ghost glovewort in my inventory and I wanted to use it for my Mimic tear summons but when I go to Roderika, the option to use the item is not available. It only shows an upgrade for +1 then +2 and so on. Am I missing something? How can I access the option to apply this great ghost glovewort on my Mimic tear. Thank you in advance.

found a great ghost glovewort in the same chest that gave me the fingerslayer blade

"chest under the massive skeleton statue in Night's Sacred Ground."
Can still be gotten post game even if you did almost nothing (Only thing i actually did was talk to blaidd after radahn if that even matters) Just need to speak to ranni at Ranni's Rise, shell say shes going to sleep after you talk to iji/selvius aparitions, then you can open the chest in nights sacred ground.

In Crumbling Farum Azula: From the Dragon Temple grace, turn back and make a running jump down to the stairs. Head up the stairs you land on, turn into the second right and follow it through; out the back there'll be a narrow broken pillar that leads over to a ladder. From the top of the ladder, you should be able to see it on top of a sarcophagus at the end of an an alcove on your left. Watch out for an ambush after you snag it.

I have 5 of these at the end of game 1. So there’s 1 missing. Sadly I do not recall where i collected them

Seems if you want to level up and max all of your special / legendary ashes you'll need to do at least NG+1 so collect all of the currently known ones and then do another journey

There is also a Great Glovewort in Crumbling Farum Azula. Takes a little platform jumping and a secret ladder to find

There are 5 Great Grave Gloveworts, so I'd imagine there may also be 5 of these. One of the bullet points (the mausoleum) is the same one as the other one listed in the mausoleum, so right now we only have 4 confirmed locations.
Can someone check if the Mausoleum one is a great grave glovewort instead of a great ghost glovewort? I may have misremembered.
