Even though a lot of people would like to see a crafting recipe for the fletched version, I find these are actually better in practice. The arc allows you to fire them over tall obstacles and land sooner, where as the fletched version would fly further. And if you want them to go a greater distance, just use the Might Shot skill.

A bow, these and a Misericorde and I've been able to sneak kill so damn much of this game it's ridiculous.

Use this im the abyssal woods, the aging untouchable will run towards it's point of impact.

These are extremely buggy and basically never work in my testing, as others mentioned.

I wonder if the harp bow amplifies the effects of a Shattershard Arrow...?

Try these with rain of arrows
The mobs will stay in place doing nothing
Works on bosses too
Good fun

useful in ordina, the archers will stop everything just to look at where the arrow landed

These are OP in pvp. In duels you can shoot it behind people and they are 100% definitely guaranteed to turn around giving you a free backstab

Not that I don't see the utility in these, but most of the time I'd really like to use one, the ambush ahead is one of those scripted ones where they jump out when you're near and won't react beforehand. They should add a "spell" to these, and the spells that do a similar thing, that fires or breaks that script.
These are useless as soon as you realize that a ruin fragment does essentially the exact same job

I tried to "distract" several enemies within them, including a couple I knew were waiting in ambush in a room. I shot walls around them, behind them, at their feet... nothing. Eventually just them, and they reacted like it was a normal arrow. I don't know if these have any significance...

These are fun to mess with people from stealth in pvp…. That and the rainbow arrows. You fire them from up high while crouching with the concealing talisman, you can then phantom finger out when the host starts making their way towards you and flank them. Works especially well in castle Sol as one of the spawn points is outside the castle, so you can completely confuse the bejesus outta people when you lure them inside, only to sneak up on them from outside and hopefully have something to one or two shot them. The stunned looks from their summons are priceless
These things are honestly amazing, and an essential tool for exploration in dangerous areas. You can completely foil some types of ambushes with this, cause enemies to turn their backs for you to prep a backstab, or distract enemies to just stealth past them to reach a different location. Make a ton of these, and never leave home without them.

Ok seems like some folks don’t even want to read what these are for.
THEY ARE MENT TO DISTRACT THE ENEMY AND NOTHING ELSE!!!

These look cool, I've tried them on rocky enemies and so no difference.
This would be for a pure archer build with no faith i.e. no ability to cast that shadow bolt incantation.

I wonder if it does bonus damage to rocky enemies? Like the Fallingstar Beast?

Seems to draw unalerted enemies attention from a greater distance then normal arrows

Pair it with ansbachs bow skill for the ultimate deafness combo
