Stormveil Cliffside might actually be the best farming route for the feathers to make these arrows. 6 Stormhawk to kill while looping back the grace. Feels more rewarding and a nicer view while grinding than the Rampart Tower!

It would be cool to see this buffed to a higher number, like 10 stance damage, or skills like Might Shot or Enchanted Shot (my beloved), buffing the stance pressure multiplicitavely. Arrows are really good for hitting fleeing dragons in the face when they're even remotely low.

best way to farm these is, ironically, with a bow. The runes from killing the birds should pay for the arrows you spend and drastically cut down on the otherwise gruelingly long process of fighting them in melee

These arrows seem to have a much longer range then other arrows. Used with the pulley bow there was almost no drop off from a very long distance. Still a pain in the ass to farm though.

The description says "breaking enemy stances and guards with ease" but depending what is meant by that they just don't. If you throw darts or hit one of the red albinaurics that have shields with an arrow that doesn't one shot them, they raise their shield and keep it raised as they walk towards you. These arrows ping off those shields doing no more than double digit damage, just like every other arrow.
Breaking the stance of enemies not using shields obviously works, but they don't break guard, if by breaking guard the description means doing a load of stamina damage until the shield is knocked away.

Shame there's no crossbow bolt version, would be neat to try to replicate bloodborne's gun parries in a build

Farming the feathers for these is a pain in my arse but rain of arrows turns one arrow into a cluster. For poison, rot or bleed the pay off is obvious but is there any significant benefit from using these with a bow that has rain of arrows AoW?

Rampart castle grace is the best place to farm the feathers. You also get pinions for your other arrows (I run sleep//Stormwing on Albinauric with Rain of Arrows and I love it)

Anyone tried using this with Rain of Arrows? It could really wreck something's poise if it still does 5 per hit when used for the skill.

I did some testing with this on the two Crystallians near the Albinuric Village and yes it does break enemy stances just not very easily as described.

I used a Black Bow +2 with 12 strength and 20 dexterity using mostly jump attacks and the follow up attack.
It took between 16-20 arrows to break their stance, depending on the how frequently I managed to land the shots.
I tried with regular arrows just to compare and I was unable to break their stance even after using 40+ arrows.

Would like to test it against a boss nest but got to farm more Stormhawk feathers first.....

Best Physical damage-type Arrow in the Game.... Highly suggest farming Stormhawk Feathers just for this ( As this outperforms the Normal Arrow which only has 45 damage , this is better and also Crafteable which is really Great ). Otherwise Buying other Elemental Arrows are better than the Bone crafted ones except with the Physical Attack Arrows , in which Stormwing Arrow is Excellent ( Storm arrows are also really good against High Poise enemies like Banished Knights or even the Late-Game Knights within Lyndell , Haligtree or StormveilCastle ).

I tested this with blackbow. This in fact, does NOT break enemy stance or poise or guard "with ease".
You can shoot enemies to death with this without breaking stance even once, any enemy with a shield can easily guard this indefinitely. Even the first great shield soldier at storm gate can block this arrow -- for lack a better word -- with ease.
Just use this like a higher physical damage normal arrow. It does have real high physical damage.
