  • Consumes Medium FP (82)
  • You must be near a rebirth monument to summon spirits from ashes.
  • When you are close to a rebirth monument and able to summon, a monument icon will appear on the left side of the screen.

Trivia

  • Her NPC iteration is present during the Radahn Festival and is available for summon during the fight with Radahn. She does not speak and only bows when interacted with, which awards you the gesture if you do not already have it. Her lack of dialogue may indicate that she was a puppet during the festival, as well.

This lass is the bane of the Royal Revenants in Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree. As soon as you drop down there, call her in. She’ll keep you alive and put those undead flesh vessels to rest.

      • Anonymous

one of the worst summons in the game. If she had some actual AI to make her try to stay out of harms way and come to you to give you buffs and heals she would be S tier easily. Instead she tries to block attacks with her face and would rather stand in a random corner healing nothing then do anything helpful.

It's especially embarrising when their are other buff and healing summons that actually do their job and participate in the fight.

        • Anonymous

how to actually use this spirit:

equip a shield with high stability and greatshield talisman.

there you go. whenever you need a heal you can block and strafe towards her and be healed reliably, not get slammed by the boss because you were panic rolling around her. since youre the only one doing damage to the boss you can just block all the agro as she heals you. easy mode.

          • Anonymous

All she had to do was heal me, but constantly she healing some random area far away from me. Wish they made her stay closer to you.

            • Anonymous

Would've been way more useful if FROM put Projected Heal from DS3 in ER and had her use it on the player at distances

              • Anonymous

I really like this summon, but her healing ability seems underwhelming. Is the amount she heals based on anything, like the level of your flask, or her level? Or is it just the same % every time?

                • Anonymous

Sad lore aside, Therolina is legitimately the most disappointing summon in the game for me. I like the idea of a support-only summon is not doomed to fail, but sadly the AI on this chick is much thicker than she is and she ends up just being a worse support option than Trina, the obviously better support spirit.

                  • Anonymous

All the elitists that think that summons are a crutch or all the people who think Elden Ring developers have given summons AI (seriously?) need to use this idiot summons.

Too stupid to heal herself when needed, too stupid to heal you when needed. Just randomly does ****. Will stand there with her finger up her butt while revenant destroys her or she'll randomly throw out a heal and destroy it. RNG, the lazy game developers crutch.

                    • Anonymous

In theory should be great, but like all the Summons it has no smarts. So totally random as to what it does. If you're lucky it will help, if you're not it will be completely worthless.

                      • Anonymous

The only place to use her is on the way to get the Marika’s Soreseal, she will destroy the revenents with her healing incantations.

                        • Anonymous

the only summon with true infinite self-healing, you cant even get the Mimic Ashes itself to use healing even if you only equip the Mimic Ashes with a seal and a goddamn healing, its like the one of the very few things another spirit summon can do that Mimic Ashes cannot, its a shame that she is so bad at aggroing ANYTHING, seriously, she will throw like 5 consecutive pots at the NPC, and said NPC will only attack her for a bunch of seconds before going back for your ass, otherwise she could be SUCH a damage sponge against nearly any boss in the game, maybe even the Elden Beast itself...

                          • Anonymous

Finger Maiden has the potential to be one of the most interesting Spirit Ashes in the entire Elden Ring; Self-sustainable summon who could help the player by providing a support role as a healer and not just brute force her way to beat the **** out of everyone.

But Fromsoft says Nooooo, she is just an utterly incompetent retard who will only run to the enemies and self-heal right in front of them (even if everyone's health is 100%), consequently getting gank-stunlocked to death.

God, I miss Bradley of the Old Guard from Dark Souls 2. Because right now the only redeeming quality of Finger Maiden is being a Preceptor Seluvis's self-warming flashlight.

                            • Anonymous

This one is basically made for blockers. If you're rolling to avoid damage you will get separated and she immediately becomes useless. If you stand in front of her she'll mitigate any damage coming through your shield, and throw holy pots over it.

                              • Anonymous

For those saying she is only good for revenants or that she only heal herself. Try staying close to her as much as possible during bosses openings. She will spam great heal for you as long as your dumbass don't get greedy and rush the boss during said openings. Also, she is a waifu there's that.

This puppet worked for the Twin Valiant Gargoyles, used her summon after defeating the first (easier) Gargoyle, need to keep the Gargoyle agro on yourself and not the puppet.

Anyone not sure if they want to buy this puppet or keep the starlight shards for a FP emergency would do well to ignore some of the more negative comments and watch YT vid of her killing revenants before deciding. It may well be true that she won't heal you in the middle of a boss fight but that doesn't make her a twat. The real twat in that situation is the player who summoned her for a boss fight in the first place. She is NOT a tank, use dung or Rollo for that but what she will do and very well is kill revenants. Having her available means no need to have a heal incantation in a memory slot in case you run into one or are in an area you already know has revenants. I've been summoning her over and over in Lunar estate ruins then resetting at grace and she hasn't once failed to kill both revenants that spawn there, just saying.

Don't write finger maiden Therolina off as worthless or not bother to spend the starlight shards on her. She isn't a spirit summons you'd want by your side against an ulcerated tree spirit or god help her Malenia. But she is surprisingly good at ripping revenants a new arsehole. I've seen posts about this before but didn't believe it, but it turns out to be true she shredded a royal revenant in NG + with no ghost glovewart upgrades. She killed it in two hits better than I could have, a holy water pot and cast heal and she made it her bi*tch.

You can also get her without finishing Ranni's quest line. Find Seluvis's secret basement near Ranni's rise and speak to him about it after finishing his fetch quest. He'll concur that you're his culprit and let you choose between her ashes and the Jar dude.

                                        • Anonymous

So is she really worth using against death rite birds and revenants? I used the shield bros at +10 for those that spawn along the lowest walkway at Elphael brace of the Haligtree. They were keeping them distracted long enough for me to cast heal and kill them. I'm not sure I'd want to run that gauntlet with this finger maiden puppet summons.

                                          • Anonymous

You can also find her body in the very first room you spawn in. She has the message item on her body. She was likely suppose to be your maiden before Seluvis killed her. Why though? My Theory is it was at Ranni's request so she could get a finger maiden she has influence with(Melina) into the picture. There seems to be a connection between those 2 though it's not specifically stated. Ranni's dialogue when you first meet her at the church tells us she is aware of the stead that Melina gave us and it peaks her interest in us

There is no page for her summon/NPC variant, which is sad, but she doesn't have much significance there anyway.

What I'm curious about is how did she end up as a puppet? What was she doing after Rahdan's defeat for that to happen?

"she is not a fighter by nature and is ill-suited to battle" my ass, her pots deal absurd amount of dmg against undeads and deathbirds, also prevent their resurrection if skeletons.

                                                • Anonymous

amazing summon for keeping your health up. She's a healing turret, and shreads revenant and undead enemies with her holy flasks (around 1100-1500 dmg depending on the hit enemy)

                                                  • Anonymous

Good in standard sized dungeons, against Revanents and anywhere narrow. (Think places like the Prison Town in Volcano Manor) Virtually useless in open fields or large arenas.

Her AI will allow her to keep herself alive but she is very sporadic when it comes to healing and attacking.

                                                    • Anonymous

So, you can actually get her or Jarwight before finishing Ranni's quest. All you have to do is get the invite to Seluvis' tower and break into his doll workshop outside Ranni's tower. After he gives you the potion for Nepheli, you give it to Gideon. When you return to him he will have a few dialogue options. One of them, he will name you a co-conspirator and give you one of the two puppets for free.

                                                      • Anonymous

Her purpose is to distract and stay alive as long as possible.
At least it helped me won Rennela boss within 1 try.
(1st time did not summon any)

                                                        • Right next to her? She'll just stand there with a stupid look on her face doing nothing. Across the arena from her? She'll start spam healing all the nothingness around her.

                                                          • Anonymous

I used her when clearing Zamor Ruins and it was basically cheating. I'd say give her a try in prolonged situations where you're clearing enemies.

                                                            • That's not correct is it? We DO meet her at Radagon festival and get a Bow emote from her.
But we can't talk to her, no idea why the developers did this or half the things they did or forgot to do?

                                                              • Anonymous

Hey, so you know how she's a healer? What enemy in the game really pisses you off and is crippled instantly when faced with healing incantations? Mine is +4 right now and half healths the ones that expect +20-ish weapons.

                                                                • Anonymous

The maiden at radahn's festival was Therolina. I summoned her using her summon sign during the fight, it was a bit hectic but im pretty sure it said Therolina.

                                                                  • Anonymous

Puppets are not dead, that's the most f'd up thing about Seluvis. If you get close to one of the bodies on Seluvis' room, you can see that she follow you with their eyes (the one with white clothes at least). I think they only become catatonic and submissive to Seluvis' (or the owner) desires. Besides, if they were dead they would be Spirit Ashes instead of Puppets.

                                                                    • I only tested her on 1 boss fight playing as melee, so I can be wrong, but she feels completley useless.. It could be pretty hard to track her movement and casting and get to heal in time dodging attacks on the way.. Also you need to be very close to her to receive heal, wich means enemy would be hitting both of you.

                                                                      • Anonymous

By far my favourite summon. She is not OP, even at +10. You can't leave her alone fighting a boss, because if she doesn't have time to cast her incantation she cannot heal. She acts on her own, which means that if we want to benefit from her healing incantation we need to be in her AOE. Even at +10 I think the maximum damage I've seen her land is about 144. If anyone is struggling against a boss she provides just enough distraction to give the occasional window of opportunity. And if you can keep an eye on her and get in her range she can heal a decent amount at +10. Getting healing from her can be difficult against some of the more fast moving bosses, you can end up miles away from her real fast. But having her there provides at least the possibility for extra healing. Also, the description for her is quite sad, I feel like we give each other a purpose every time I summon her!

                                                                        • Anonymous

You know what’s more depressing than Therolina? The one at Church of Inhibition. That maiden died alone sitting on a chair waiting for her Tarnished then you came along and took all her clothes off

                                                                          • Anonymous

She looks exacly the same and uses the same magic

                                                                            • Anonymous

Due to the nature of the puppets, I imagine that the reason why Finger Maiden Therolina was at the Festival was because they were a puppet at the time and were sent by Seluvis to help. That would explain why they are corporeal unlike the other NPC's (excluding Blaidd and Alexander,) and also why they can be interacted with.

                                                                              • Anonymous

Either this one or the jarwegt pupper or something. Got this option after 'not' giving potion to Nephili, met Blaidd in Siofra River and discovering said hidden puppet dungeon.

                                                                                • Anonymous

                                                                                  • Anonymous
