so, im planning to do a mausoleum knight build and idk if i should these guys since i love them or lhutel who should i use? which do you think is better?

      • Anonymous

there's no way these haven't dominated the mid level spirt ash meta, FIVE soldiers with TWO greatsword users???

        • Anonymous

Summon these boys in the invisible Black Knife cave and there's a high chance that they just push her into a corner and beat her to death.

          • Anonymous

I love these ashes. Probably my favorite ones next to all the knight spirit ashes. I could basically act like a commander.

Very useful for ganking a single enemy. Very entertaining too.
Yes they move slow but once you can lore an enemy into the middle of them and they start attacking, it can be hard for some enemies to know what is happening.

Disappointing this lot don't warp around like Lhutel & other Mausoleum Soldiers,
Main reason I got yous besides liking Mausoleum Knights

                • Anonymous

I dont get why you can get 5 of these but only get two of the other soldier archetypes, Im not complaining tho watching them fight in the Agheel camp is a spectacle

These guys are kind of bad for PVE content. They walk very slow, are incredibly passive and it feels like the enemy just ignores them, as they ignore the enemy. Just watch them for a bit, they just do not act aggressively at ALL. Legit, every time i summon them they just walk towards the enemy, maybe swing at them, one time, but then just look menacing. Thats it lol.

Pretty long-lived due to their teleporting schtick, even though they don't have an exceptional HP pool. If you have a rad healing incantation at your disposal, you can really go to town feeling like a badass field commander. Definitely check these goons out if you want to migrate away from crutch summons

certainly not the strongest and most reliable summon, but feels badass to use this and feel like the leader of your own undead army, "go pile them boys", or a necromancer like those you find in the catacombs.

                        • I think these guys are better than Lhutel overall. They do a great job of holding the boss’s attention, surrounding them, and sometimes even stunlocking them to death.

Secretly the best summons in the whole game for damage. Individual summons can outdamage one of these but nothing hits as hard as this whole mob. Their teleporting also lets their AI stay aggressive and engaged in the fight where other summons get lost or get stuck trailing behind bosses.

Super underrated spirit ash. You basically get 5 teleporting soldiers, while the sword ones can block, the pickaxe ones can poisebreak and all can go ranged with their crossbows if necessary. They almost managed to solo Radahn and two of them even made it to Elden Beast.

Summoned these guys for the Ancestral Spirit fight, one of them one-shot the boss when it turned into one of the spirit deer with his crossbow. 10/10

I've been using raya lucaria soldier ashes for a while and I upgraded them to +8 after seeing the damage they can do to a single boss and how long they can survive, they did much better against that c**t Mohg in the cathedral of the forsaken than lone wolves +9 and Oleg +6. How do these mausoleum soldier ashes compare? I'd especially appreciate any replies from anyone who has used both.

                                  • Anonymous

Deploy them against enemies with moderate poise while using a bow or pike, keep aggro and lead you foe through your Squad, keep the Sword and Board soldier from gaining aggro his health pool is slightly lower than the others and he is crucial to any body blocking strategy as his dodge doesn't activate as often. If possible share aggro with the twin Warpicks as their poise is higher than the others. Above all else position your enemies to be interrupted by the GS Soldiers they can and will knock them over with a heavy thrust attack.

Why do they do so much damage?

Well, given that they cut off their heads(and thus severed their brains), it means their only way of navigating is via the, quote-unquote, "sixth sense", which, put simply, is that same thing that causes a random spike of tension for some.

However, given it's their only sense, it means that it's likely honed to an extreme point. Especially exemplified with the Mausoleum Knights having just as good greatbow aim as the others.

How does this translate to damage? Well, with the sixth sense so honed, they can immediately detect easy roast spots on their target. Godrick's jordans are fake. Radahn has a yee-yee ass haircut. Renalla is a giga nerd. Rykard is sitting at home eating nothing but cheetos(tarnished). Morgott is a simp. The list goes on. As such, despite their lack of mouths, and as such, speech, the confidence this knowledge gives them bolsters their strength.

Are you seriously fighting bosses by yourself? *Rings Spirit-Calling Bell* Nah, I'm with my BOOOOOOYYYSSS!!!

                                        • Anonymous

These guys are absolutely awesome. They can tank, they can teleport dodge, they have greatshields, they have greatswords, they can gank on mobs, hell they can even stunlock Malenia's first phase by themselves!
                                          Best non-hero summons, hands down!

                                          • Anonymous

Thoroughly impressed with these lads. Sort of tanky, heavy hitting, you get 5 goons and they do that instant transmission dodge. I feel like they're the best of the mob-type summons. I +10'd no question.

My favourite summons right next to knight ogha and the sisters puppets, use an uplifting aromatic and boom, whatever was your problem, is no longer a problem

Pretty sturdy boys, good damage. Almost killed Malenias second form when upgraded to +8, as they constantly knocked her on the floor. Decent Ashes to use when you need some frontline.
