  • You can farm Scarlet Bud in the rot cave behind the Church of the Bud Main Entrance.
  • Go to "church of bud" grace right before the romania fight, turn around and go inside the cave. This room contains 2 scarlet buds that regrow.
  • Starting from Church of the Bud, Main Entrance grace you can get 10 of these per lap of backtracking down the stairs to the rot area. Go around the top level with no enemies, down the stairs (loop behind them for 2 of the buds), and then taking the elevator down 1 level. If you send the elevator back up when you leave, you can just reset by traveling to the last site of grace and running it again. 5 hefty jars per lap, essentially.

Best farming method I found is: go to "church of bud" grace right before the romania fight, turn around and go inside the cave. This room contains 2 scarlet buds that regrow. There is also one scarlet bud, one level below but I would not recommend this one. Because you pull aggro from the kindret of rot and you can't quick travel anymore.
