Spirit Calculus is a Crafting Material in Elden Ring. Spirit Calculus is a brand new Crafting Material in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Crafting Materials are resources that can be obtained throughout The Lands Between and used to create a wide variety of items.
An exceedingly rare to find calculus, suffused with spirituality. Material used for crafting items. Found by hunting horned beasts in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh. Has a distinctive acrid odor, which some claim to be a sign of particular spiritual potency.
Where to find Spirit Calculus in Elden Ring
- Shadow Keep: At the side of a Fire Knight on the sixth floor, below the Seventh Floor site of grace. [See Shadow of the Erdtree Map] [Video Location]
- Found on a body on a broken column, in Ancient Ruins of Rauh. To the left side of the first site of grace of the area. [See Shadow of the Erdtree Map] [Video Link]
- Ancient Ruins of Rauh: Pay attention to the glimmering one carrying a jar and make sure to eliminate them to get 3x Spirit Calculus from them. You can also pick up a Broken Rune in front of this square hole to the southeast. [See Shadow of the Erdtree Map] [Video Link]
- From the Rauh Ancient Ruins, West, go toward the double archway. There are different shadow enemies here, like shadow mage and shadow hound. Eliminate them and go up the steps, then, go to the right side and eliminate the glimmering shadow enemy carrying a jar here. It will drop x3 Spirit Calculus and a Rauh Burrow. [Video Location]
- From the Ancient Ruins, Grand Stairway Site of Grace, descend the stairs and turn right, you'll find this on a corpse sitting at the edge of a cliff. [See Shadow of the Erdtree Map] [Video Link]

I found one by killing a male deer in the ruins. I went around killing a bit more and found a second one after a few dozen kills - must be a rather uncommon drop. Usable to make the new explosives.
