I wish you were allowed to use summons in PvP just for this specific ash. This thing doesn't do much damage, nor can it tank hits, but it would scare some players and I think it's the only purpose of these enemies. (Also I guess they should have made this ash the winged version instead for added creepiness.)

Low FP cost summons fit into a very tight niche, and this ash's power reflects that. Nothing amazing, but for the same reason you'd use the Rats, you might want to use this.

Should note that "some distance from the summoner" just means "they spawn at the little summoning obelisk nearby". There's one in each area where you can summon and certain ashes spawn there rather than next to you.

It doesn't deal much physical damage, but it deals a lot of emotional damage to players who have arachnophobia, so I'm gonna take it.

I upgraded this thing to +9 and it was barely doing like 15 damage to enemies in liurnia. I get the feeling this is a glitch

Why, oh why is the coolest looking ashes in the game that weak?? 31 FP cost?? So it's probably gonna survive for like 1 second in any boss fight. That is so disappointing.

These things are really bad as an ash. The best thing I can say is that they can take (non-fire) hits pretty well for the cost.

i hope to god these enemies aren't resistant to magic i hate these things more than i do the ants and i haven't even actually encountered them yet

This thing triggered a visceral, primordial fear in me when it first dropped down. Seriously, there hasn't been a single enemy in any of these games that got me like that, not since the spiders in Bloodborne and besides the giant one, they didn't seem nearly as bad.
