Ancient Dragon Florissax is a Spirit and Summon in Elden Ring. It is a brand-new Spirit in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Ancient Dragon Florissax is a powerful spirit that uses her dragonbolt and increases damage negation to herself and allies.
Ashen remains in which spirits yet dwell. Use to summon the spirit of Ancient Dragon Florissax. Florissax assumed this spirit form to offer her service to a new lord. Uses her own dragonbolt to increase all damage negation (including physical) for herself and nearby allies. Strikes foes with the Flowerstone Gavel's dragonbolt to reduce enemy lightning damage negation. Long ago, Florissax assumed human form to share Dragon Communion with the world. Now, she has acquired a human heart.

Where to Find Ancient Dragon Florissax
- WARNING: DOING THIS WILL LOCK YOU OUT OF THE PRIESTESS HEART (The one that buffs dragon cult incantations, You can get a different dragon transformations stone called ''Rock Heart'' from another place that buffs dragon communion spells instead.)
- Find Thiollier near Pillar Path Cross (after the bridge and on your way to dragon's pit, the leftmost/eastmost path leading to a small swamp on map). Exhaust her dialogue. [Edit] just to clarify that the road doesn't really lead to the swamp (which is down below the cliff), it just looks like so on the map)
- Go back to the blessing outside Belurat and talk to Moore. He will give you an item for Thiollier.
- Deliver the item to Thiollier and exhaust her dialogue again to obtain another item.
- Give the item to the dragon priestess (near Grand Altar of Dragon Communion) at night, this will put her to sleep. Wait for a few rounds and she will have woken up, exhaust her dialogue.
- Kill Bayle the Dread. Remember to summon Igon (his sign is within the arena, to the left after you enter the mist)
- Go to the Altar and talk to her, confess to putting her to sleep and accept to become her lord. collect her ash.

I like to imagine she'll eventually return to her dragon form so the Tarnished won't have to be alone once they become a magma wyrm.
I always thought it was terribly sad how the magma wyrms were all once great drake warriors, only for their quest to end with them transformed, completely isolated, in a dark cave somewhere, forever. Just having a sympathetic companion would go a long way to alleviating the misery of that transformation, so I like the idea that Florissax adds an implied bittersweet touch to the Tarnished's eventual fate.

A dragon using lightning on someone and not hurting them is an act of love + her summon uses dragonbolt of Florissax on you = SHE LOVES YOU!!! We in boyZ not maidenless!
anyway i think she knew Placidusax was long gone (dead or crazy) and she planed to off her self after Bayle died.

If you're using any kind of lightning damage, this summon is AMAZING. IDK how the exact % of the Flowerstone Gavel skill lightning negation debuff, but I can safely say it's BIG. Also, she casts a buff on you (and her) that increases all your damage negation. She's one of the best support summons in the game. And I say support cause at +0 and +10 she seemed to do similar damage, bizarelly... She might be bugged.

She move like a tarnished npc, meaning she can roll and dodge, she also use a dragon claw slam incantation. This is very good for those looking for npc ash instead of the predictable mob ash that has no roll.

For those worried about being locked out of the heart, there is a second one with a different look and buff attached to it. It is attached to a painting hidden in shadowkeep under the waterfall by the ramparts after the hippo boss (where all the shadowmillita men are)
the painting leads to a spot near the jagged peak mountainside site of grace, ignore the spirit spring and follow the path. If you see the chair but no ghost, walk away a lil bit then come back. Bam, enjoy dragon TF and dragon wife

i killed igon bc i thought he was annoying and can confirm you dont need to interact with igon at all in order to get this summon. all you have to do is this :
1. talk to moore, he will give you something for thiollier
2. give that item to thiollier, tall to him until he gives you a different item
3. give this new item to florissax at nighttime
4. skip to dawn twice in order to interact with her again
5. exhaust all her dialogue
6. kill bayle
7. exhaust all her dialogue
8. you now have her ash.
dont know why the wiki says you NEED igon, its straight up not true. also she is tanky asf and casts buffs for you and debuffs at enemies. goated ash.

Just to confirm, if you go with her questline you will be locked from obtaining priestess heart. So it's either her heart or her spirit ash. I picked the ash and I have to say that I am disappointed. I upgraded it to the max and she barely does anything in fights. Low HP and low dmg. Mimic still the best spirit ash by far and Tiche right behind it. I am really disappointed with new spirit ashes in this DLC so far.

Anyone know how good this is? Does it outclass mimic tear or does it suck? I just see the "Ancient Dragon" and I wanna use it so bad.

You can miss this if you don't get the black syrup when progressing through thiollier's questline, i forgot to talk to the guy who gives you black syrup to give to Thiollier and since he's now sleeping i can't get the concoction BE CAREFUL!

If I use the rock heart (the other dragon transformation item that you achieve doing a canvas puzzle at the dlc) it will still work even after transform her into spirit ash?
How to Get Dragon Wife:
1. Progress through Thiollier's Questline till you get his Concoction. DON'T USE IT ON YOURSELF.
2. Head towards the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion via the Dragon Pit.
3. Meet Igon along the way; exhaust his dialogue.
4. Get to Grand Altar; meet D-Wife, exhaust her dialogue. She tells you to scale Jagged Peak and kill Bayle.
5. Climb the Jagged Peaks till you meet the two fighting dragons. Kill them and meet Igon again.
6. Exhaust his dialogue.
7. Go back to Grand Altar and talk to D-Wife about Igon.
8. Pass time at Altar site of Grace till nighttime. D-wife will be asleep.
9. DRUG HER WITH THIOLLIER'S CONCOCTION.
10. Pass time till day (May need 2 days before she wakes up)
11. D-Wife is distraught she broke her oath to the Dragonlord. (Exhaust her dialogue)
12. Climb to the summit of Jagged Peak.
13. Fight Bayle and SUMMON IGON TO HELP USING HIS SIGN ON THE FLOOR. RIGHT AFTER YOU ENTER.
14. Die about 50 times (or not)
15. Kill Bayle while Igon is summoned. Hear his victory rant and unlock the site of grace.
16. IMMEDIATELY TP BACK TO ALTAR AND TALK TO D-WIFE.
17. She rewards you with Dragonbolt of Florissax.
18. Talk to her again and ADMIT YOU DRUGGED HER. She understandably, tells you to **** off.
19. Do not, instead talk to her again. She demands you become her lord (Mission Accomplished)
20. Talk to her again and asks her to come with you. Enjoy your OP Dragon Wife Ash.
