Taker's Cameo is a Talisman in Elden Ring. Taker's Cameo restores 3% + 30 HP upon defeating enemies. Players can use Talismans in Elden Ring to boost a variety of Stats.
A talisman engraved with a stern likeness of Praetor Rykard, master of Volcano Manor.
Restores HP upon defeating enemies.
When Rykard turned to heresy, taking by force became the rule. The gods themselves were no different, after all.

A PERCENT HEALTH HEAL. WHY DON'T MORE THINGS DO THIS? The only thing I don't like about this talisman is the noise it makes when it triggers gets kind of annoying sometimes
- Anonymous
i think its kind of hilarious and disturbing that if torrent eats **** that actives this talisman and you heal a bit from it
also it stacks with rykards rune and assassin crimson dagger immensely well, almost never need crimson flasks

I'd rather skip this so I can get Blasphemous Blade earlier. If you wait to get this, it's after you reached Mountain Tops.

If you’re an invader wearing this, you’ll get healed when the host or their summons kill mobs. Good for topping off, but also cues your in on whether they’re actually progressing through the level or just camping out waiting for you.

for anyone who killed rykard before killing juno you can still get taker's cameo
it will be located where you get the assasination letters (it will only appear there if you kill juno after killing rykard)
- Anonymous
A must have for phantoms traversing through large dungeons. If you’re low on flasks use this you don’t even have to kill the enemy to get health someone else can kill em. If you want this effect for boss fights however just use the godskin swaddling cloth.

i speed ran volcano manor too fast without completing tanith's quest and now i cant get this anymore
- Anonymous
It feels fitting to wear this while putting Tanith out of her misery after she goes bonkers when Rykard dies.
- Anonymous
does the effect from this trigger by watching the bloodstains of other players dying?
- Anonymous
By itself, this talisman's HP regeneration is rather small. It can be useful during long treks out on the field, where numerous amounts of fodder mobs can be killed for lots of heal triggers.
In dungeons though, only expect this thing to save you a single flask, if that.

Invaluable as a co op phantom. Save flasks for invaders or the boss, use this and the buddy horn to sustain through the level

I have experienced a pretty awesome bug where the effect for this is stuck on my character, even though I don't have it actively equipped
- Anonymous
Combine it with ancestral spirit horn and serpent curved sword with bloody slash ash of war. Works wonders.
- Anonymous
Blasphemous Blade + Serpent-God's Curved Sword + this gives you 270 per kill at 60 vigor ( more with other great runes and talismans )
- Anonymous
This and the Ancestral Spirit's Horn work even if you just say, kick a deer in the ass.

You can still get this item even if you killed Rykard before invading Juno as long as you get the quest to invade Juno before you kill Rykard. After Killing Rykard the quest to kill Juno will still be there and if you complete it and return to Volcano manor you will find the cameo sitting on the dinning room table waiting for you.

You can alternate between this and Ritual Sword Talisman. 10% Damage boost at full health, when you fall below, you can equip this to get yourself back up to full if you don't want to use Flasks to do it.
- Anonymous
The only problem with this talisman is the constant sound it makes after killing a enemy.

This appeared after defeating Rykard before I finished the Volcano Manor quest line on the table near Bernahl the same as the comment below. I believe this was triggered by revisiting Rykard Grace and killing/looting Tanith/bodyguard. I also did eventually complete the last Volcano Manor quest even though everyone had already left the manor so it’s also possible that triggered it appearing.

Apparently, you can still get this talisman even if you kill Rykard first before finishing the Volcano Manor questline. I got this talisman on the table near Bernahl while I was roaming through my map after finishing my NG. Unfortunately, since I only got there AFTER I finished the whole game, I don't know the specifics of what caused it to spawn there.

Fairly sure this is a bug, but if you're wearing this & you touch a blood stain of someone dying on horseback you get health back for it. Only works if the phantom is on a horse though, not if they're just on foot. Just tested it a bunch with horses going over cliffs and without fail it gave me health back

Takers Cameo + Blasphemous Blade in main hand + Ancestral Spirit's Horn + Sacrificial Axe in offhand

So i killed Rykard but i didn't have the third job accepted, i was just at the second job. This means that this talisman is a goner for me, right?
- Anonymous
It appears that you'll receive this talisman even if you kill Rykard before completing the quest, since last patch. When you kill Juno Hoslow you can head to the Manor and check the table where you received the other letters. Cheers!
- Anonymous
This may be a bug or possibly intended, I'm not sure, but I'm doing the Frenzy Flame ending on my second playthrough and right after I talked to the Three Fingers I started getting this heal when viewing player's bloodstains. It kinda makes lore sense for it to be intended, but it seems broken if I can just stand there activating bloodstains and get a full top-up.

does anyone have an extra one of these in their inventory? i have already ng+3 and i dont want to go through it again just to get this one item :(
- Anonymous
You can still get the Taker's Cameo talisman even if you killed Rykard. I accepted the third assassination, didn't finish it, killed Rykard, finished the assassination, and looted the talisman on the left table in Bernahl's room (at Volcano Manor).
- Anonymous
if you're used to the ring of the evil eye, this is MUCH stronger. heals based on a percentage and doesn't have a timer that prevents benefiting from multiple kills at the same time. if you kill 3 enemies simultaneously, you get 3x the healing. excellent talisman to have
- Anonymous
The talisman can be acquired even if you've killed Rykard before Juno. After Killing Juno I've found the talisman in the exact place where you get letters from!
- Anonymous
After today's patch, you will be able to receive this on the table next to Knight Bernahl if you killed Rykard before completing Tanith's 3rd letter!

mages really out here gotta complete the game twice, marry a moon lady, put their soul into a glintstone, trek to the ends of the earth for a hidden tear that lasts like 4 seconds, have situational ass spells, garbo ass talismans and BARELY are good enough to keep up with katana/faith/bleed builds that get **** right outta the gate LMAO

Takers' Cameo + Blasphemous Blade + Rykrd's Great Rune Have fun exploring without worrying about your crimson flasks

It heals 3% of max HP + 30 flat HP. If somebody wants to edit the info above.
- Anonymous
by the looks of data in the comments I think it heals a percent that gets slightly lower when your health is higher
- Anonymous
I managed to not get the talisman, I don't know how, I don't know why, but I managed to not get the talisman, now Tanith is enjoying a delicious steak while I'm here amazed at the feat of how I didn't get this talisman being that I'm playing tank

Heals based on max hp, with 2541hp it heals 106 per kill
With 2375hp it heals 101 per kill.
- Anonymous
Compared to the FP version of this ( 3 FP per kill ) further proof that fromsoft REALLY hates mages.
I’m roughly getting 4.58% of my total health back from 1900 (87.02 per kill)
- Anonymous
it seems to heal about 15% with each kill, tested with base health at 760 with it healing 52 each kill, and then with health at 805 with it healing 54
- Anonymous
This works for invaders too every mob killed by host of summons heals you.
- Anonymous
You can not get this talisman if you kill Rykard before the third letter. Tanith leaves and does not give more letters after the boss is defeated.
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
The wording is a bit deceptive. The healing procs whenever anything dies; whether or not you're the one to kill it, and with seemingly great distance.
- Anonymous
Combined with the Blasphemous Sword, you will heal for 141 HP per kill. Combine with the critical hit healing talisman for a fun life stealing build.
- Anonymous
This needs to be edited slightly, you need to complete the three letters from the manor, than she'll ask you to meet the boss. If you choose yes you'll be teleported to rykards boss gate. Kill him and it'll put it straight into your inventory along with the souls.
- Anonymous
it heals ~60ish health, for me at least. This talisman is very strong
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
if you kill rykard before completing the third letter you may not be able to get the talisman.
- Anonymous
Has anyone else noticed that when a bloodstain phantom dies while you're wearing it you still get the healing?
- Anonymous
Welp. Killed Rykard before I finished the last quest. Seems like there's no other way to get it because the NPCs all leave Volcano Manor.
Bummer, not really feeling NG+ in this massive game.
- Anonymous
Found as a reward for completing all of Tanith's request in Volcano Manor (killing certain NPCs marked on your map).
- Anonymous
You get Taker's Cameo from completely the third Letter from the Manor. This requires you have gotten into the mountain of giants.
- Anonymous
Don't know for sure yet, but this item is likely found in Volcano Manor, since they are related in the lore.
- Anonymous
Does anyone know the location? As of right not the page doesn’t say
So long as you get the third letter before killing Rykard, you can get this Talisman.
This let's you get Blasphemous Blade by doing Rykard... as your second Great Rune boss.
