highly recommendable for usage in PvP, backstabs become a lot less of a worry unless you're facing some guy with a Misericordé and a Dagger Talisman, so you can focus more on the actual regular fight rather than spinning around like a beyblade because of the one dude trying to backstab you.

so... i rode this up without reading the guide, and the room was empty; no omen and no talisman... i beat the boss and came to double check if i missed anything... low and behold i came back and suddenly the omen and the talisman were both there? fromsoft special.

Ive decided to give healing/buffing a try in pvp and this helps a lot when stacked with ritual shield. Especially against experienced players who have a miscericorde.

Increasingly disdained as an impurity because it makes my dedicated shield poke build unkillable in pvp.

I spam thrusting sword r1s on a caster build and use a mace on my tank build. Get parried a lot in duels. This ring still isn’t worth it. It also doesn’t affect boss grab attacks. Should work on pvp grab attacks tho, even the spell ones since they still scale dmg off critical modifier in your hand. Anyways, I think the only use this has is for shield poke turtles who risk both parries and guard breaks.

Tested against the Black Knife Assassin in ORDINA LITURGICAL TOWN, if talisman made a difference, it was not noticeable.

Good talisman to have when using the royal greatsword in PvP. Basically makes you win every trade with the second part of your skill even if they get the backstab.

Soooo it doesn't really have a purpose, it's way too easy to avoid a backstab and everyone is jump attacking so they can't be parried.

Leyndell Catacombs has fxxxxng two simillar places, the room that has crucible scale talisman has no other way except for the entrance.

                      • Found in the Leyndell Catacombs dungeon, this dungeon is found below Leyndell a bit further down from the Underground Roadside, you have to make your way down the pipes that have the Imps to the area with the Giant Lobsters and there will be a entrance to the dungeon there. The talisman will be a bit further into the dungeon where you ride one of the columns that when you hit lowers/rises.
