Bestial Vitality is an Incantation in Elden Ring. Bestial Vitality spell is a healing Incantation that restores caster's HP over time.
Incantation taught by Gurranq, the Beast Clergyman.
Fills the body with bestial vigor, restoring HP over a period of time.
Having gained intelligence, the beasts must have felt how their wildness slipped away as civilization took hold.

- Bestial Incantation
- Stamina Cost: 10
- Spell's healing potency does not scale with Faith.
- Regenerates 5 HP per second for 120 seconds, healing a total of 600 HP (33 HP/FP).
- Benefits from Old Lord's Talisman, healing 780 HP total over 156 seconds (43 HP/FP).
- Most cost efficient healing over time spell for a single player.
- It's low cost and faith requirement make a helpful healing tool. It also has a higher total healing amount than the other low faith healing spells at this faith level, Heal, and Urgent Heal.
- Does not stack with Crimsonburst Crystal Tear.
- Does stack with Blessed Dew Talisman.
- Does not benefit from Clawmark Seal and its Bestial Incantations bonus.
- This is a Health Regen Buff and will not stack with other temporary buffs of the same type.
- See Buffs and Debuffs for more information on stacking buffs.

Good in early game, becomes niche mid game and then obsolete late game the higher you level Faith and gain access to better regen/body buff options.

Very difficult to justify using this over FGMS considering this doesn’t even stack w/ the Crimsonburst Tear… meanwhile both the Flame-Cracked AND Greenburst Tears stack w/ the effects of FGMS. Wft From…

I want to like this so much but it feels too slow to ever allow you to tank another boss hit or something, and in overworld its faster to just kill a group of enemies for the flask refill. You can also just switch to assassin's crimson dagger and just spam ripostes to heal or just use the blessed dew talisman.
This spell is so powerful for PvE adventuring builds that I firmly assert that all viable PvE adventuring builds need at least 12 Faith and will need to permanently run this spell with a seal as a secondary weapon.
Have Faith. Allow the Bestial Vitality To Flow Through You. Enjoy Immortality As A Bestial God.

Curiously, the regen ticks don't seem to heal if you're shield-poking with a Rapier (or spear, etc) during those ticks.
Dunno what that's about.
- Anonymous
Bestial Vitality + Blessed Dew Talisman + Icon Shield cumulatively will heal you 1,200 hp over the course of 120 seconds.
Combining these with playing coyly in pvp duels can be mildly oppressive
- Anonymous
I made a Yuta Okkotsu build with this incantation as his reversed curse technique.
I would've actually liked it, if this spell would be chargable. Like.. Not that it heals more per tick but maybe it then lasting 30 seconds longer

Thinking of doing a 2H Sword run with greatshield talisman, regen talisman and bestial vitality to be able to block with my sword and regen the chip damage.

This spell is almost a requirement for low to mid level co-op (under LVL 80 or so), as it boasts very low FTH requirements (just 12 FTH!), is easy to get, and provides a ton of HP per FP per cast. This lets you conserve HP flasks while running around in the overworld, where the slow heal rate doesn't bother you much because (1) you have less health overall (2) enemies don't hit as hard and (3) there is a lot of down time in between your taking hits (hopefully). Even if you have access to the FTH boons (which require 24 FTH or more), Bestial Vitality is still worth running, as it is vastly more FP efficient then the Boon spells.
It gets less useful as enemies hit harder and HP bars grow, but is still useful / worth slotting even up to 60 VIG.
This is quite good in coliseum duels, for those times when opponents decide they want to admire your armor instead of pressuring you.

this plus flame cleanse me sound incredible for the colosseum, if someone procs scarlet rot on you they will probably target someone else in the colosseum since you're basically dead already, using this time to go away, cast flame cleanse me and then this, then boom ,you're back in the fight and you're only down 32 fp, worth the 2 faith you have to lvl up to get both of these

This plus bloody slash for an early game bleed build or arcane/faith.
- Anonymous
I wish it was affected by the bestial incantation bonus from the clawmark seal and cinquadea
- Anonymous
Maxed flask is 810 hp, so even late game this is worth 3/4s of a flask at 600 hp, so even late game definitely worth it for boss fights as you can usually get an extra buff in during the fight

Very nice with Ritual Shield Talisman against anything that hits hard.
- Anonymous
Doesn't stack with any other regen spells other than blessed dew talisman and that shield(forgot its name).
- Anonymous
Excellent for healing chip damage if you like to guard counter with a two-handed weapon
- Anonymous
why can we just have og adjudicators regen, why do fromsoft hate regen builds

A flat healing rate not based in a percentage of your total seems a little myopic. In NG+ and beyond this spell has progressively less utility. It really needs to be based on a percentage of your total health and not a static number to be considered a part of the whole game and not an early game crutch that gets tossed as it loses potency to player level and boss health pool.

This helped me out big time during my battle with Radagon and the Elden Beast. Aside from reducing my flask consumption, the gradual healing while I was just dodging and waiting for the perfect opening to attack fills my waiting time and prevents the boss from responding to my inputs. There were barely openings in Radagon's battle I can get an attack in because he doesn't stop with the attack combos and AoE. With Elden Beast there's a lot of running to be done against Elden Stars and homing projectiles.
(Yeah I'm a Dex build so fights can take at least 30 minutes orz)
- Anonymous
Underrated. Stack with the regen talisman and you can almost ignore DoT in NG. Great for adventuring and drawn out fights especially if you have a tanky summon or are a caster.
- Anonymous
I wish it would scale so it wasn't useless in the late game

Honestly I only use this when I'm missing some HP and want to AFK for a couple minutes. The sound is absolutely unbearable, so I don't use it all the time.

LEGIT MY MOST USED INCATATION, I played through the game on launch and ran a strength faith on the side build and I would never leave the grace without this spell in the very first slot, me and this incant are best friends and I will never forget all that it has done for me.
Don't underestimate this spell, it has saved my life countless times.

It's a lifesaver for going through levels, especially co-op where your estus is so precious. Using this with Sac. Axe, Milos, Ancestral Spirit Horn etc. legitimately changes the way co-op is played. Not having to worry about getting worn down over time so that you can save your flasks for an emergency is nothing short of game-changing.
- Anonymous
Pretty good for some cheap regen. I use it mostly against bosses or when in ''No-Refill'' areas (dungeons)

the real cost of this spell is not 18 FP or 10 Stamina, it's your sanity as you listen to the constant sound of a car alarm blasting in your headphones
- Anonymous
I would marry this incarnation if the requirement was 10 Faith
- Anonymous
do not use this in mid or late game this is a strict early game incantation thats good for early game health regen for either pvp or pve situations there are better incantations for health regen
- Anonymous
If you're currently a melee build with empty spell slots, you should consider picking this up. It can save you a lot healing flasks and help keep your health topped up in boss fights. What makes this even better is that you'll also unlock: flame cleanse me, beastial constitution, the basic elemental negation buffs, rejection, and poison armament.

Came across this and wondered how long it would last, considering in 2 mins a fight is either over or almost over (whether due to host death or boss death) fair to say it's worth getting the min requirements and popping it before a fight if you're melee based and not using WA too much
- Anonymous
Dunno about the other healing incantations/spells but this one seems to be bugged if you use Mimic Ashes, i've seen my Mimic use this but not heal at all.
- Anonymous
Currently running blasphemous blade with shield, and this incantation plus the healing over time talisman plus the blasphemous ability healing lets you play aggresively without healing
- Anonymous
does this affected by old lord's talisman and primal glintstone blade just like blessing's boon and blessing of the erdtree?
- Anonymous
the effects of this heal are static, nothing in the game can buff or take away from this, might be worth investing only 12 into faith for this, extremely cheap. good for both long early level pvp fights aswell
- Anonymous
Used this near Gurranq and he went ballistic and attacked me. Why?
- Anonymous
it may not heal a lot very fast but considering it's extremely low requirements to use it's a pretty free spell to just always have up whenever you're missing any amount of HP. When using other bestial incantations or low faith spells I always keep it around just for some free HP while I go about the world.

For ****s sake who thought the annyoing, ever-present sound on this is a good idea?

Tested vs "Heal" with a Finger Seal +7 at 20 Faith (Incant scaling 129) and Heal costs 32FP, doing 298 hp.
Vs Bestial Vitality at 18FP and doing a total of 600 (Or 598 incase of a skip), Bestial Vitality is the much better choice for a longer battle, and use flasks as your emergency quick heals
If anyone wants to experience what Tinnitus sounds like, this is the spell for you.

+5 HP/tick (for 2 minutes). Does not stack with Crimsonburst's +7HP/tick (for 3 minutes), making that a better option for fights.
Does stack with the Blessed Dew Talisman for +7 HP/tick, but again you could just use Crimsonburst for +9 HP/tick
The upside of Bestial vitality is that it doesn't cost a Physick, obviously.

Thank you!!!! I have been looking everywhere for stats on this incantation and if it scales with clawmark. Most my incantations are lightning. Didnt want to use clawmark unless it buffed this incantation which appearenly it does not. Thanks again. Will stick with finger seal for now.

This incantation stacks Whit blessing boon ? Or erdtree blessing?
- Anonymous
This is probably the most efficient FP to HP regen spell, granted it only works on the caster while the other regen spells like blessing's boon and blessing of the erdtree work on everybody within the radius. But it's a great tool for soloing if you want to conserve flask use.

This does NOT stack with the Mix Flask regen, it will overwrite it. (atm. 3/7/2022)

If you want a healing spell for solo play, this is it. Your Flask is for direct heals and this fantastic spell is for rejuvenating in between sips and for when it'd be too inefficient to drink but you also don't like where your HP is at. Three From games in, I can promise you these spells are super underrated. It heals quite a bit, lasts a while, and is pretty damn cheap. You want to use Heal, Greater Heal, etc. for Co-op, and if you like summoning and enjoy playing a bit of support.
Love it. With FP on crit or FP on kill talismans, this gives a lot of sustain. Would wish for flasks not being refilled so easily.

Doesn't stack with other heal over time spells. Flask, no idea.

Heals for almost double of "Heal" at almost half FP cost. Didn't time it but takes at least two minutes to complete. Tested at 27 FTH with +4 Finger Seal: 600 HP from Bestial Vitality, 310 HP from "Heal".
- Anonymous
2 minutes @ 5hp/sec = 600hp
600hp / 18FP = 33.33hp per FP point

At 12 faith this is healing for 5/s and lasts 2 minutes, total heal of 600.
- Anonymous
I gave 1 root at the time, and when I gave the second one I didnt receive this. Seems bugged?
- Anonymous
Yeah don't give 2 seeds at once guys, you'll lose out on this spell it seems. Gonna go for the third soon to see if that fixes it

This thing is crazy good, with 12 faith it lasts a lengthy 2 whole minutes and ticks about the same rate as poison does
Very cool incantation for low Faith builds. Although I will never get why this does not count as a beastial incantation and is not buffed by the Clawmark Seal :/
