Quest and Details related to Dragon Communion Priestess in Elden Ring
NOTE: You will need to meet her before killing Bayle, to start her questline. Killing Bayle before meeting her will lead to her leaving her location.
You will find the Dragon Communion Priestess near the exit of the Dragon's Pit towards the south. She is standing next to the Dragon Communion altar. During your first encounter, she will invite you to picture yourself feasting upon a dragon's essence. Afterward, you will be given an option to partake in a blessing. If you agree to Devour Draconic Essence, she will give you the Ancient Dragon's Blessing. This allows you to consume FP to increase all forms of damage negation. It also increases damage negation while guarding as an additional effect.
You can now interact with the altar for a Communion with Bayle or partake in the Ritual of Dragon Communion.
Return to the Dragon Communion Priestess' location after defeating Bayle the Dread. The priestess is now gone and will leave the following items in her last location:
There is an alternate ending for this NPC quest, but there are some requirements to meet before your fight with Bayle. The following requirements are:
- Meet Thiollier before Moore leaves the Main Gate Cross Site of Grace
- Speak to Moore and receive the Black Syrup from Thiollier
- Give Thiollier the Black Syrup in exchange for Thiollier's Concoction
After you have met all these requirements, you will need to see the Dragon Communion Priestess at night. She will be seen speaking with Lord Placidusax. You can speak to her and give her Thiollier's Concoction.
If given Thiollier's Concoction she will fall asleep, wait 1 full day and she will wake up and express disappointment that she had succumbed to slumber.
After defeating Bayle, return to her and she will give you the Dragonbolt of Florissax Incantation.
Then if you confess that it was you that put her to sleep she will pledge to follow you and you will be given the Ancient Dragon Florissax Spirit Ashes.
The ending of her questline depends entirely on your choice whether to give her Thiollier's Concoction. Fighting Balye before meeting her will have the same outcome as when you do not give her Thiollier's Concoction.
She will drop the following items if you give her Thiollier's Concoction:
She will drop the following items if you DO NOT give herThiollier's Concoction:

Elden Ring Dragon Communion Priestess Notes & Trivia
- Notes and tips about this character go here
- Players can acquire her Spirit Ashes, called Ancient Dragon Florissax, please consult the link to learn more about it.

Honestly giving her the concoction is just doing her a favor. Imagine giving away your sleep to another for possibly hundreds of years, taking on the fatigue of her lord so they can stay awake forever to send messages to a god who's never going to answer. And considering Placidusax is outside time and likely dead by the time we meet her? We just saved her from eternal servitude to a dead lord.

if you sit down at the grace or take the grace and teleport away she disappears, even if you havent spoken to her yet

The Mimic Tear ashes does NOT take the dragon priestess form when you summon it. :-(

So clearly, her name must be Florissax since every named thing we get from her has Florissax written all over it.

I NEED her Armor. 11/10 would kill her in a flash for the Set.

I saw her and went to the site of grace first to save and then she disappeared ????

So is she implying that we'll bring in a new age of dragons when we become lord? Or that we'll be the next dragon Elden lord?

****, I walked right past her and beat up Bayle with Igon; she was already dead by the time I discovered the altar.

Miyazaki heard the depraved voices of the Lansseax fans and whispered back "It's time."

Certainly feel better for myself for tearing all those drakes hearts out and eating them in the base game knowing they are traitors now

if you kill Bayle before ever talking to her she disappears (or at least i assume this is why she is not here lol)

She has 2 fates based on your decisions. Both give you 2 items.
If you just go and kill the dragon you get her heart (can turn into dragon) and her weapon. If you give her the concoction and kill the dragon you get the ability to summon her and a spell.

If you want to give her Thiollier's Concoction, pass the time until night in the grace. She'll have a dialogue about giving Placidusax her sleep. exhaust her dialogue and you'll get the option to use the Concoction and she'll fall asleep. Wait till morning and talk to her again with her new dialogue. Exhaust that and you'll get her Spirit Ash.

I want her helmet for a Galanoth (Adventurequest/Dragonfable) cosplay <3

It seems that fighting (but not killing) Bayle makes it impossible to give her Thiollier's Concoction.

This character lore-wise is so trippy
Base game: Dragon communion is a sin
"Oh because the dragons don't like us eating their hearts"
DLC: No, Placidussax WANTS you to eat their hearts
Man... the dragon race-war is FREAKY

talked to her, went to kill bayle, came back and she was gone with priestess heart in her place. never got an option to give her thiolliers concotion

I went past the location she's supposed to be at before, but she wasn't there. Never returned to double check, because I didn't know an NPC should have been there in the first place. Skip to me defeating Bayle and looking for things I missed in the overworld, and I stumble across her heart and weapon laying on the ground at the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion. Very confused, but I'll take it I guess.

Never saw the option to give her the concoction. Not sure if it required reloading the area or seeing Igon first, IDK. Ugh

**** i guess its my fault for not getting to her when i just said **** it i cant get the map lets kill bayle what could go wrong well it was pretty easy but i did not know she existed

If you give her Thiollier's Concoction and defeat bayle after, she takes you as her lord and gives you her spirit summon and Dragonbolt of Florissax incantation
- Anonymous
After beating Bayle and giving her Thiollier's concoction, she woke up and spoke of being forsaken by Placidusax. If you confess to putting her to sleep, she will submit to you as her new lord and become a spirit ash for you.
I give her Thiollier's Concoction after finishing the quest she become Spirit ash instead of drop Priestess heart and Flowerstone Gavel
ps.I do want Priestess heart, I guess I have to do another playthrough

Does anyone know what "communion with Bayle" means? Like what happens when you do it?

after defeat Bayle, she drop her heart, use it to transform to dragon

Does she disappear after talking with her? My game randomly crashed immediately after talking to her and now she is gone. I did get the blessing before though.

Does anyone know what happens if you give her Thiollier's Concoction?

I haven't killed Bayle yet and she isn't there. Is it because I already killed Placudisax?

The one curse with souls games
They make things missable when you go without prior knowledge
While it makes exploration more fun, it means if you can go the wrong way and skip a step without realizing.
Missed this whole thing cuz I beat Bayles ass.

You can give her thiolliers concoction at night but I'm afraid to lol

I hate and love going into these games blind. I totally missed her since all the damn maps are hard to find in the north and south sections. I ended up going north and fought Bayle. She is no longer there. Smh. She left behind a Priestess Heart and Flowerstone Gavel.

if you dont meet her before killing the big boy dragon you never see her
If you have killed Placidusax in the base game, during the night (by resting at Site of Grace), she will be silent when you talk to her.
