Gargoyle's Twinblade is a Twinblade in Elden Ring. The Gargoyle's Twinblade scales primarily with Strength and Dexterity and is a good Weapon for dealing melee damage with an extra reach. Users are able to deal piercing and standard damage that is complemented with Spinning Slash where the wielder of the weapon can perform a body spin that slashes foes within range.

Just like the wielder, the missing parts have been mended with corpse wax; a patchwork of champions.

      @anon: People still saying this? Don't you remember that dual wield status build up was nerfed, especially the 4-hit jumping attack for twinblades and curved swords. Now the twinblade jumping l1 only deals 40% status build up per hit, so 160% total. Pre-nerf it was like 350% total. Sure it's still ok, but there are better ways for status build up.

      Uh, maybe you're just not good enough to hit bosses and enemies with jumping L1s????? It works on my machine.

        try a twinned knight instead of this. You can get Twins without killing any boss, this one also scales well with strength/arcane in bleed infusion, has a much better range and isn't as ugly as this one.

          You get yourself two of these things when you reach NG+. You put whatever Status Effect you want on them. You power stance with both. You do jumping L1s. Enjoy proccing the Status Effect after the third L1.

            weak damage per hit but the speed is insane. In pvp you can pull off fast bleeds with this. Totally destroys your opponents. Running r1 has insane phantom hitbox. Best aow is spinning slash. Comes out fast and lunges forward a bit. Screw powerstancing curved swords or spears. You need to apply status? this(or any twinblade)is the weapon for it.

              Uggo. Best option for strength is to use the twinned knight swords. Don't care if it does like 1 less damage. This thing is straight up the uggliest thing ever conceived. FUGLY.

                    Brand new to souls games, I'll be honest I did not expect this thing to be THAT good. At a first glance it looks like you would need high dex for this, most other games force that on you. I ended up making a pure strength build with 0 points into FTH INT or ARC, just full blown Neanderthal and after putting a heavy infusion on this weapon, MY GOD does it absolutely just shred things. I had to put it away because it was just too good at killing things, and I only use it to exterminate giant ants quickly. I'll probably bring it back if I hit a wall

                      great weapon for str/arcane bleed build. probably not great for pvp due to its lower range, but completely annihilates any boss that can be bleed. slap on endure and you can basically trivialize any encounter in the game.

                        Never been a twinblade person myself in previous souls' games but this thing is the business. With the right talismans and physick this can distribute a world of pain in a very short time.

                          the Gargoyle's twinblade has unique visual interaction with weapon buffs and it's really cool for fashion.

                          Basically the wax part will slightly change color and glow according to the element applied, some are more pronounced than others tho.

                            After 6hrs of farming the gargoyle outside of the Capital of Ash, and consulting some others on discord, I don't believe this can drop anywhere except for the boss fight.

                              The Strength pick of what is otherwise a Dex weapon, and if you're going for a str/bleed or str/frostbite build, you get to use this and the Beastman's Curved Swords to get some fast strength-scaling weapons with statuses. My only peeve with Twinblades is they feel like they're born to be 2-handed, when dual-wielding them is clearly better for damage and status procs.

                                You can actually get 2 of these in 1 playthrough. I think some of the other non-boss gargs have a small chanced to drop it. I just noticed I have 2 on a character that's not in NG+ and I never do MP.

                                    Good for a str-arc build if infused with bleed. Since those builds are niche, this is a godsent, at least till later in the game when you get Moghwyn's spear.

                                        Try Seppuku with blood enchantment, damage reduction is tiny, but you bleed almost every enemy with 2 hits.

                                          Best Twinblade for strength builds. Great damage, A scaling in Strength, and can be infused/buffed. Best Ash for this weapon is Giant Hunt in my opinion but there are many other good options as well.

                                            If anyone's comparing this to the Black variant. With this you can use your own ashes while the black can't, The Black's Faith scaling is weaker but strength is better.

                                              i use this for my strength arcane build, this very good, when power stancing for me the light attack is getting slower, but the jump attack is getting better 4 attack, if u like doing it, just pair it with claw talisman and raptor robe for more damage, i haven't try that thou since i just use jump attack to proc frostbite, and after that i just went two handed my blood twinblade, and do a lot of damage with it, i personally doesn't like spamming jump attack because it's just too boring, ik it's very good, it's just not my cup of tea lol anything that makes u spamming one type of attack is not my style ':P

                                                This is very ridiculous on a STR build incredibly fast frost build up with any ash that you might want, on top of this once the frost procs you get an extra 20% of damage increase, you can even reset the frost with something like fire bolts or fire arrows and proc it again.

                                                Can go STR/INT if you want to go with sorceries for range or pure STR with flame grant me setrngth or extra buffs while still using frost for the 20% damage debuff.

                                                  This weapon gets some absurd status buildup when refined for Bleed or Frost. Currently rocking a frost infusion at +23 and I'm at 123 frost buildup per hit.


                                                  Compare this to something like the Frost Rapier, which only has 60 even when fully upgraded.



                                                  Borderline feels like an error when the buildup scaling is so damn high. Love using it though. Most bosses are at least somewhat vulnerable to frostbite, and this weapon with a frost infusion can trigger it in 1 or 2 hits.

                                                    I'm dual weilding 2 of these blood infused. At 50 strength and 50 arc the twinblades each have 135 blood loss. Only takes 2 hits to inflict bleed. It is melting everything in ng+

                                                      Drops from the gargoyle in between the outer wall phantom tree and battlegrounds graces. Not guaranteed though. I only got the axe while a streamer I watched got twinblades and the axe included.

                                                        If you are a Faith build, I'd recommend using this instead of the Black Blade version. I have this at Flame+25 with 70 Faith to deal a whopping 639/653 damage (one-handed and two-handed respectively). Additionally, with the Fire Scorpion Charm my damage output is 684/698. (p.s. Golden Vow boosts it even further at 787/803 damage).

                                                          Been using this for end game pvp and it is sick! Strength build and this with bleed is insane. 101 bleed. Can proc on 3 hits.

                                                                I would guess that this weapon could also drop from a Gargoyle somewhere in the game, just like the Gargoyle's Axe. But I am still just guessing.
