Lord of Blood's Favor is a Key Item in Elden Ring. Lord of Blood's Favor is used to progress White Mask Varre's questline. Key Items in Elden Ring include a wide variety of items found in specific locations or are given by a related NPCs which are used to unlock areas, quests, and to further progress the game's story.
Before soaking:
Pure white oath-cloth given by Varré. The final trial to be anointed a Knight of Mohg, Lord of Blood.
"Soak the cloth with a maiden's blood... The blood of anyone's maiden will do. You are maidenless, after all."
After soaking:
Fully reddened oath-cloth, dyed in a maiden's blood.
The final trial is complete. Luminary Mohg is sure to welcome you into his service, as a knight who will lay the foundations for his dynasty.
Where to find Lord of Blood's Favor in Elden Ring
The Lord of Blood's Favor is found by progressing White Mask Varre questline past Limgrave, and talking to him at the Rose Church in Liurnia of the Lakes. [Map Link] Players must get a Festering Bloody Finger from Varre and invade other players 3 times (You can invade and return to your world immediately). Talk to Varre again and accept to be knighted, and you will obtain a pure white oath-cloth and be charged with soaking it in the blood of a maiden. This can be done by going to the Church of Inhibition [Map Link] or Chapel of Anticipation. [Map Link] There will be a deceased maiden where you can obtain the bloodied white oath-cloth. Elden Ring Lord of Blood's Favor Use
Lord of Blood's Favor can be used to progress White Mask Varre's questline. Once obtained, players must soak it in the blood of a maiden: The closest will be a Maiden corpse in the Church of Inhibition, north east of Liurnia. Possible is also the corpse at Chapel of Anticipation if you've unlocked the second belfry at the The Four Belfries.
You can also soak the cloth by killing Hyetta or Irina.
Bring the cloth back to Varre to progress the questline.
Elden Ring Lord of Blood's Favor Notes & Tips
- Go to the Four Belfries west of the Academy, you can find a portal that leads you back to the Chapel of Anticipation (be sure to pick the right portal, its name should involve the word Anticipation.) There is a dead maiden in there that you can use for the quest.
