This thing is decent, its tracking is incredibly useful for pressure since it can force a roll. However, it will likely get replaced for faith builds with the Guardian Spirit incantation once that incant is buffed (which is highly likely since the general consensus is a majority of the incantations and sorceries are just genuinely bad)

Why is nobody talking about this? Pursuers-like with no requirements.

It's mostly base damage with low scaling. The scaling favors FTH over INT. Hits for 400-500 with no stats and can hope to double that depending on how dumb you push the stats. Deals very little if any stance damage.

Is it going to one shot people? Of course not, but there is no reason that faith builds shouldn't be adding pursuers to their toolkit.

All around this thing does much higher base damage than the other Bairns but it's lack of synergy with pretty much anything makes it inferior to the regal Omen Bairn.

Interesting how the tradition of memoralizing newborns through small sculptures carried over to the Golden Order, though obviously with different implications. Hornsent with large horns had health complications but were seen as closer to divine. Meanwhile those born under the Golden Order, Omen, had their horns excised on principle. Either way death was common.

Access to homing guardian spell on pure faith build? ABSOLUTELY! i actually find it better than affinity from ds3 i hit a guy for over 500 with these bad boys in pvp and the slower speed seems to throw people off as opposed to the glintblade phalanx
