i am so angry, my character was a girl and i wanted to wear the foreskin helmet and had a coniption thinging i had lost it when it just turned out that APPERENTLY, girls cant wear the best heappeice in the game and instead have to wear a cooler one, disgraceful

Absolute trash. In previous titles it actually looked nice and could bring an armor set together. But now it’s too hideous to use even on chain mail sets.

It's the very same chain coif that is under the Greathelm. So you can RP taking your helmet off but leaving the rest of your armor layers on.

The stats of this item are correct, along with the description, but the icon is different (may be different on different gender). The icon I see in-game is more akin to the DS3 chain coif, with a tall head piece in the shape of a tall heart. It also has a golden clasp at the neckline.
Interesting fact: The chain changes color and shape depending on the body type you choose. My black flame look with the Noble's Traveling Garb, Prelate gauntlets, etc rocks with the Type B look.
It changes the coif to a triangle shape over small cloth sets and I have black bandana underneath that via cosmetic customization options. Looks like a unique custom piece.
