Elden Ring Omensmirk Mask Notes & Tips

This kinda outlandish, but what if the mask is modelled after the Dung Eater's "true" face, or soul. We know he has "the heart of an omen without a body to match", and he wishes to see himself and be seen as an omen, that's why he puts those horns in his armor. And indeed, if many (or all) omen are a result of the DE's defilement, it means that they were, in a past life, murdered and defiled by him, which may very well cause them horrible nightmares in their new and accursed life, like PTSD.

wish this thing behaved like the beast-repellent torch but for omen. would be really convenient for the sewers or just generally any area that throws a bunch of omen at you. also i just really want to feel as though they're afraid of me, they're so annoying and deserve to suffer

strength boosts physical absorption, so its useful even if you dont have a strength build
This might be the strongest Helm in the game, at least if you need Strength and Poise. 6 Poise for 3 Weight is the best poise-to-weight ratio you can get for a Helm, and it even gives you +2 Strength on top of that for no downsides. Also, it's nasty ugly (in a good way.)

Also known as the minmaxer mask. Although the drip is respectable

This mask just reminds me of Vegigante masks for the costumes. Both have a demonic/impish look usually accompanied by a smile

Using this I can get higher poise breakpoints that just aren't possible with the imp mask. It's a shame because I spent all that time farming the imp mask just for this thing to turn out better.

Anyone know what the "elder" in the description is or why they "haunt the omen in their nightmares"?
The only elder I can think of is the imp head. "Resembling an elder, it holds trace amounts of arcane knowledge."

I liked him in Breaking Bad. Haven't seen Better Call Saul yet but I've heard good things.

Why don’t items ever drop on the bosses? They always seem to drop the first time on some random normal enemy.

Does it really only drop from one guy? How stupid is that. Every Omenkiller has the same mask.

The mask drops from the Omenkiller right next to the Lower Capital Church grace location. Kill the Omenkiller and he will drop it on the first kill.

Does anyone know where the mask drops? The rest of the set drops from the omenkiller at Perfumer's ruins on the first kill, but he's not dropping the head.
Am I the only person who rocks this mask??
