Jar is a Helm in Elden Ring. Jar is a unique piece of armor that is awarded to the player by Iron Fist Alexander. Jar protect the player's head by applying various defensive properties, it also changes the appearance as well when it is equipped. Some armor pieces may be available to both genders but may be slightly different for male and female characters.
Jar that fits cleanly over the head when upturned.
Made with pride by Iron Fist Alexander.
In a uniquely jarlike gesture of friendship, it boosts the power of throwing pot items.
Where to find Jar in Elden Ring
The Jar Helm can be found at:
- Given to the player by Iron Fist Alexander. Follow his questline until you find him in Mt. Gelmir near Seethewater Terminus. [Map Link] Completing his dialogue here will award the player with the Jar. [Map Link]
Jar Set in Elden Ring
- Jar is a helm piece by itself with no additional armor pieces.
- The Dolls of Seluvis wear this helm, along with nothing else.
- The famous player, Let Me Solo Her, wears an outfit identical to The Dolls of Seluvis. This is likely a coincidence, as he wears the Jar to pay his respects to Alexander himself.

A lot of commenters here are generally pretty angry about everything. The Elden Ring wiki is VERY SERIOUS business; trifles about players are not to be tolerated under any circumstances!!!

Why does this entire comment section have a giant stick up their a** about the lmsh trivia bit, its a cool nod to the player and harms literally nobody.

Once, I was randomly summoned by a host who had also summoned Let Me Solo Her. It was awesome to fitness him flawlessly solo her. I really like how a player manage to become such a legend in this game.

The LMSH "trivia" is just unnecessary and unrelated. At that point, do we want Miriel's page to specify he's a dog too, or the Messages page to suggest writing "try Finger but hole"? May as well be consistent, right?

Why there is pointless stuff about some "famous" player? I don't watch streams so I don't know who the h*** this is
- Anonymous
We don't need the let me solo her nonsense on this page, its irrelevant... This player is nothing special, she is easy to solo...

This actually goes really well with stuff like Radahn's armor and Night's Cavalry, not to mention it has pretty good stats.

Would be nice if this also increased the damage of the har cannon. Haven't used it extensively tho so maybe that'd make it too strong. Would still just make sense

Tips for fashion with this, anyone? So far the vagabond knight and radahns chest pieces look good.

Strike aside, that's a pretty good defense/weight ratio for a heavy helmet, too.

would be really nice if this increased the yield from harvestable items

It's all taunts and rushing in when I wear this as an invader till the first free aimed pot chunks someone's HP and I mix up melee, thrown, and rope pots like a mad man... People get passive fast, lol

somebody deserves an award for enunciating 'pot' in 'potency' in the notes and tips

I don't understand the dislike bombing of any comment mentioning a certain jarhead that can take on a notoriously difficult boss by himself. Is it because its gotten annoying?
- Anonymous
it's baffling how obsessed people are over a guy who fights a boss at meta level... how many people doing SL1 max NG no roll kills get news articles? where's jar head's kills? people act like this dude is the messiah.

Get some giantsflame pots at rl 1 and wear this and you become Let me Solo the Host.

Really disappointed it's just a helm and there's not a full set of jarmor.

I "received" the Jar in Mt Gelmir but it never showed up in my inventory :(

Everyone is talking about let me solo her, what about let me date her

There should be a full Jar set, and a special talisman, that when worn altogether, changes your character into a living jar.
It would remove all equipped weapons and you would be unable to equip any; only being allowed to attack with the special living jar enemy moveset.
It could even just be a gimmick... but it would be so much f***ing fun.

actually kinda nutty how good this helm is, on top of the pot buff, it's got high poise and damage reduction for its weight.
The only reason not to wear it is for fashion, but what could possibly be more fashionable than wearing a jar on your head?

Daily reminder you’ll never be a living jar. Life is suffering.

If the talisman of the companion jar was given in the beginning, I would gladly make a pot build run

This and the Bell Helm from DS2 are tied from my favorite helmets. Both look silly, but in terms of weight and defense ratio, they’re some of the best in the game.

This helm might have the best weight to defense ratio in the game. I've been running it, and I sure do love the goofiness.

Beware the jar-poachers. They are plainly in league with the perfumers, so beware them too.

I tested fire pots with it and it seems to raise their damage by about 15%.
