I'm confused to how this one works. Can someone illuminate me please? I've tested a few of the new DLC spells on the Omen in the Underground to see their damage (Lusat Staff/80 Int only) and how they compare to already existing similar spells - and this is the one that confused me the most. Why did a lot of my projectiles not hit the mob??? Like they literally just went away from the target lock and hit the wall or the floor or whatever? What's up with that? It was really hard to calculate the damage because the numbers were basically never the same. Mind you, the mob was barely moving, so it's not like it dodged quickly out of the spell's range or anything like that. Omen are not the biggest enemies ever, but I wouldn't exactly call them nimble and slender either, projectiles missing them on target lock rarely happen unless they actively dodge. I just don't get it. How does the projectiles work/calculate their trajectory towards the mob? What's the distance you should even be using this spell?

Not a bad spell. But does about 200 less damage than a charged comet with 80in/faith and +10 PoD staff. Now that's without the staff and robe that boosts finger scorceries. But it having multiple projectiles makes it at a bigger risk of hitting things other than your target.
I don't see any reason to switch from star shower to this. damage is about the same, with this probably higher because you can buff with equipment. but Star Shower still has better tracking and is much faster. I'd say improve the tracking and range because Star Shower still does the same thing, for the same amount of fp, and faster.
Did some testing as a 99 Int/Fai sorcerer with the PoD staff and the Maternal Staff in the offhand. This is actually surprisingly pretty good burst damage. A fully charged cast actually does more damage than a night comet with SoL in the offhand, which is quite good. If you're rolling up on a guy and you think you can burst them down in one or two hits, it's great.
However, I believe it falls behind Night Comet in a more drawn out encounter because NC is easier to spam; after the first shot the only animation required is swinging your staff again. Unfortunately, GN requires a full animation every cast.

Damage is pretty bad compared to the singular, if they fired with a slight delay to eachother it would be worth using.

A pretty useful bread and butter ranged sorcery. The zig-zag movements of the nails make them more reliable than most Glintstone projectiles at hitting moving targets since they can turn faster and tighter. Essentially Comet, but split into 5 parts with slightly better tracking and a very slightly lower FP cost.

I always wanted to do a build about a Sorcerer from a far land and had no idea Carian Royal family or academy Raya Lucaria was a thing. But since all the bread and butter sorceries relate to them it was impossible. Now it seems i can do it
