I cheese Messmer with this spell, after realizing that he is truly powerful, it didnt work first try but with many chances this spell can easily kill him. I'm gonna reserve this spell only when the boss started to annoy me.

There’s a far less complicated way to get this. From the Dark Chamber grace head back downstairs and outside, go right down the other flight of stairs and there’s a drop where you’ll land right where the sorcery is.

Seen tons of people talk up commander gaius as scary... So I brought out my greatshield soldier ash to take aggro, and melted him in less than 15 seconds lol. Hope it doesn't get nerfed, but wouldn't be surprised. I was already going though the expansion with an arcane Thorn sorcery glass cannon build, so this was the perfect addition for nuking bosses.

In a future patch, I could see almost all new DLC sorceries getting a boost of some sort except this one. This one will get a nerf for sure lol! Definitely enjoy it and have fun making up builds around it while it still works the way it does.

Duoed Rellana with a player summon. I took the aggro while my 'helper' cut her down in roughly 4 to 5 bleed procs.....thorns go absolutely nuts. (Tested on NG+6)

I'm running a weird arcane staff/seal hybrid caster and impenetrable thorns on the albinauric staff do SO much damage and bleed. I'm still working on the final boss but I doubt it'll take long, since if I position well to hit with all the thorns my first cast procs bleed and takes about a fifth of his health off. This is in my top 3 favorite spells easy.

This spell will get nerfed 100%. Hitting bosses for damage in the 10s of thousands in just a few casts. Spawn Mimic Tear > let it take aggro = win for free with this spell.

I think claiming this spell is OP is a bit of a stretch, it's more situational. Like many spreading/multi-hitbox spells, it is pretty good against large targets, but it also seems a little inconsistent. I'm not entirely sure, but sometimes it seems like the barbed snaking hits, but not the spike?

Against the finger Ebrietas, as my opener, I saw it do about 5% of her health, and then the next time seamed to take about a 6th. All the same buffs, all projectiles hitting, and bleed NOT procing in both instances.

Acutualy OP just used it against placidusax and killed him before he even got to second phase with a graven mass talisman and ritual sword and white mask being my only buffs (and winged sword insignia but idk if that works)

Pretty sure it causes bleed build-up. Fires three projectiles in a very narrow cone, with very long range. Once the projectile hits a target, a thorn erupts. It's not uncommon to land multiple thorns on the same target, causing them to take massive damage, and very rapidly accumulate bleed build-up. Very, very powerful spell.

Go to storehouse seventh floor. Walk out from the grace, then go down the flights of stairs to the level where you can climb the middle of the room. Do that up the statue. Go outside and then look off the edge immediately out of the door, there is a place you can fall to. There is a bat down there and a body with this spell on it.
