Furious Blade of Ansbach is an Incantation in Elden Ring. It is a brand-new Incantation in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Furious Blade of Ansbach spell creates a bloodflame blade from the side of the hand. It can be charged to increase the number of slashes it performs.
Incantation of Ansbach, Pureblood Knight. Produces a bloodflame blade from the side of the hand, then lunges at enemies to cleave through them. Charge to increase the number of slashes. Markedly different from the finessed swordplay of the dynast, this is an aggressive last resort of an incantation that gave rise to Ansbach's fearsome reputation.

Where to find Furious Blade of Ansbach:
- Complete Sir Ansbach's questline all the way through the end, and side with him when facing Leda, and then Promised Consort Radahn/ Radahn, Consort of Miquella. After the fight is over, Sir Ansbach's body will be near the site of grace, alongside with his equipment and this Incantation. [Map Link]

AnonymousI don't see this mentioned anywhere, but in the sewers against omens with 45 arcane 30 fth using the dragon communion seal:
Bloodflame talons needed 3 casts to bleed an omen
Furious blade of Ansbach took 11 uncharged casts to kill an omen and the omen did not bleed a single time
So either this version of bloodflame from Ansbach deals 0 bleed buildup lore-wise, or the incanation is just bugged

Quite mid of an incantation. Needs a buff. Not completely useless, but bloodflame talons does what it does but much better. If it did a ton of stagger it might be useful, but alas.
This is so weak considering it might the hardest thing in the the game to get.
You gotta summon him for radahn (afaik) and that makes that absolutely crapfest even harder, like holy hell

Before we decide it is too weak, we need to hear testing with Godfrey's Icon, Flock's, and taking into account status effect and the movement benefit, which matters.

Before we write it off, can I hear testing with Godfrey Icon and 43 Arcane on Communion? Also, how well does it move you forward, because that is a factor in how good it is.

Sadly the damage on this one is extremely lacking, doing catch flame's dmg in twice the time while locking you in an animation. Very unpractical and frustrating to use imo

Disappointed from the comments. Saw Ansbach using this during the fight against the Miquellan followers and its animation was one of the coolest in the game. Hopefully it gets buffed.
