Commoner's Set is an Armor Set in Elden Ring. Commoner's Set is a three piece cloth set worn by the tall slender Commoners found across the game. Sets of Armor in Elden Ring are typicall composed of four armor pieces which are Helms, Chest Armor, Gauntlets, and Leg Armor.
Where to find Commoner's Set in Elden Ring
- The Commoner's Garb and Commoner's Shoes pieces have a chance to drop from Commoner enemies. They can be easily found throughout Stormveil Castle and Leyndell, Royal Capital, as well as other areas of the game. These enemies can also be found in variant armor pieces that will drop Commoner's Simple Garb, and Commoner's Headband (Altered).
- The Commoner's Headband is found on a corpse in Mt. Gelmir. After the Temple of Eiglay site of grace, take the elevator up and jump off the outside balcony into the area below. Follow the path past the Abductor Virgin into the window of the manor. Continue until you are on a walkway overlooking the lake the lava lake with Serpent statues on the right side. The Commoner's Headpiece is on a corpse on the head of the second statue. [Elden Ring Map here]

just wanted to confirm, I just got the commoners shoes from one of the commoners in the indoor area with stairs and lots of barrels right next to Rogier's message that says Surely what you seek is nearby, in Stormveil castle. The area has a lot of commoners in it.

On the Altus Plateau, East of the Hermit Merchant's Shack, there's a Minor Erdtree where a single Omen and a group of 6 Commoners can be found. The Commoners here are wearing a black variant of this set. Does anyone know if this set is available as a drop? I'm aware it isn't shown as a set on this website, but I'd love to see this variant become available, as the helmet also seems to have a sort of veil/face cover on it which looks interesting to me.
I've included some screenshots here for those who are interested: https://imgur.com/a/4mcoCRB

Nice and simple, the embroidery shows how rich the kingdom once was.

maybe because it weighs down their neck so that they seem to be bowing almost all the time.

Here’s my method to farm the set (Commoner’s Garb, Commoner’s Shoes and Commoner’s Headband (Altered)). Go to the Rampart Tower site of grace in Stormveil Castle. Do NOT take the nearest exit leading outdoors. Instead, go down the tower stairs. Ignore the Banished Knight and take the exit on your left. Go down the other set of stairs and turn right to re-enter the castle. You will be in the vertical room with many commoners on different floors. Just kill as many as you can while making your way down to the two commoners chilling together at the entrance near three Exile Soldiers. Teleport back to the Rampart Tower, rinse and repeat.
You may have to kill the Exile Soldiers if you don’t teleport quickly enough. Or, if you don’t mind, you can just jump off the castle and die. If, by accident, you miss a commoner, don’t bother going back up to kill them. Just keep going down until you start over again.
