Nox Monk Set is an Armor Set in Elden Ring. The Nox Monk Set is similar in appearance to the Nox Swordstress Set, with some pieces of the set being shared between them. Sets of Armor in Elden Ring are composed of four armor pieces which are Helms, Chest Armor, Gauntlets, and Leg Armor.

Where to find Nox Monk Set in Elden Ring

Gloves and greaves can be looted from the Nox Swordstress, Nox Priest as well as Nox Monk common enemies in Nokstella, Eternal City as they share the same armor pieces among each other. Nox Monk Hood and chestpiece however can only drop from Nox Monk enemies:

  • Two can be found in the ruins northwest of Nokstella, Eternal City site of grace.
  • Two can be found going up the stairs from Nokstella, Eternal City grace inside the imp statue locked room on your left and before the bridge connecting the buildings.

Note that the Nox Swordstress & Nox Priest  boss found in Sellia, Town of Sorcery will not drop the set. Elden Ring Interactive Map link

Took maybe 15 tries but the last run on the two at the ruins gave me three pieces. One was the greaves and the other one gave me both the hood and chest plate.

I set aside a lot of time to farm this set because I thought it would take a long time. I didn't need it. I got the helm and chestplate on the same run, then the arms and legs on the next.

I assume this is karma or something for the 7 hours it took to farm the Blackflame Monk set.

I wish you could alter the legs they look so cool but the white cloth makes it unable to really go with anything other than the Nox sets :(

DAUUUUUUM I JUST WANT THE SET SO I CAN MAKE A BUILD IM ONLY GONNA USE FOR A GOD DANM FAUKING WEEK LIKE BRUUUUUUH I WILL SACRIFICE A NEW BORN I CANT A LEAST THE FAUKING HOOD

            • Anonymous

I refuse to believe they all have a 3% chance of dropping. five shitty skirts, seven gloves and twelve headpieces with not one chest drop after hours of farming. I hate this game so much

Good choice for a male sorcerer who wants some physical protection without looking like an uncultured brute who smashes things/spellblade.

Got ALL of the Nox sets (3 different hoods & armors - Night Maiden twin crown & armor, Monk hood & armor, & Swordstess crown & armor) including 12 greaves & 14 bracelets which are shared by the 3 variant Nox sets. ALL pieces farmed from nearby the Grace Nokstella, Eternal City.

Swordstess pieces are easy, just kill the 2 riding ants & they'll drop these unique crown & armor with another Swordstess up the first set of stairs and thru the doorway on your left.

The other one straight up those stairs is a Night Maiden & drops the twin maiden crown & night maiden armor.

Across the river from the 2nd ant lady you'll find two Nox Monks that'll drop their unique crown and armor.

For efficiency this is the best place to farm for the pieces and in addition there are 6 silver firefly in the river (depends how far you go, cuz there's more further down the river...and a man living in a van down by the river named Chet) so you'll be restocking crafting materials for your silver fowl feet to boost item discovery. Took me an hour and ten minutes, got every piece, double armor (Monk, Swordstess, Maiden) & double crown (Monk, Swordstess) for the altered versions as well...but I'm ocd and need to have both versions in my inventory.

Don't listen to the comments further down spouting lies about items being patched out.

                    • Not being able to alter the legs is a travesty. The white flappy skirt really doesn't fit with the rest of the altered set, and there's no real alternative because the textures used are so unique.

Now it’s getting pathetically disgusting. 5 FXKIN HOURS STRAIGHT NOW. Everything BUT the chest piece, literally making me gottdamn sick now.

                        • Anonymous

This is such a great example of the game having Dark Souls 2's DNA running through it. Some people can't get the greaves, some can't get the armor to drop. I had 9 armor pieces, 9 bracelets and 5 greaves before I got the hood to drop. This is the same stuff Dark Souls 2 always did where, if you were farming an armor set, all pieces but one would drop easily but that last piece was a huge pain. And it was random which were which. Reeeeaallly didn't miss that particular feature.

Try using a weapon with Bloodhound step to save some time. It’s faster than running. Or just use put it on your weapon for farming purposes during this

Found near the Nokstella, Eternal City grace; in the ruins. They wield flowing hammers - wiki page is wrong

I prefer this chest piece to the other ones because it lacks those annoying long flappy wrists that clip through everything else i wear, definitely my favourite chest piece of the rest.

Just realized the only piece i have is the nox chest piece lol, thats without farming and just playing the game. Maybe specifically farming this armor makes it a harder drop?

                                  • Anonymous

Actually, the Nox Monk Hood and Armor are only dropped by Nox Monks, the guys with the Nox Flowing Hammer. 2 of them are close to each other in the Ruins just North-West of the Nokstella, Eternal City Site of Grace.

                                    • Anonymous

the place to farm these have to be the most ignorant and tedious place ever, they arent hard to kill but man i can only get 3 maybe 4 runs before silver foots run out QWQ

                                      • Anonymous

If you are like me and looking to get the MALE version of this (the Nox Monk, not the Nox Swordstress chest), go to Nokstella, Eternal City site of grace, and head immediately north west across the water to the ruins. There will be two Nox Monks who you can farm it from.

I tried all night to get the chest piece if it wasn’t for pictures of people wearing it I wouldn’t think it existed

                                          • Anonymous

It seems that there's at least three "versions" of this set that drop from Nox Monks (who use maces), Nox Swordstresses (who use the flowing sword), and Nightmaidens (who use daggers). All three wear and drop Nox Monk Greaves and Nox Monk Bracelets, but their chest and head pieces are unique to each of them.

There also exists a Nox Swordstress top, dropped by the same ones that wear the Swordstress Crown. Source: I got one while farming for the set
