I've seen some people complain about the helm. While it's not the best looking helm by far, i don't find it that bad when you compare it with stuffs like the Scaled helm. But yeah, i usually swap it with the Greathelm for the complete paladin look and man oh man i never regret it.

i use this set with a godskin flame/godslayers greatsword build. it all looks rly well together and gives good defenses at the same time.

This has been my favorite set by far. I pair it with the Carian Knight helm with a Claymore and Regal scepter.

I got this early, I THINK, by killing snake boss before completing all of the invasions. Can't remember if his stuff + bell bearing were on his chair in the manor or the warmaster's shack afterward. I only had the last invasion to do. Not sure if someone can confirm.

You can kill Bernarhl early at the Warmaster’s Shack for this entire set and Devourer’s Scepter. He’s rather easy to dispatch at this point, but just remember that you will miss out on his Volcano Manor shop additions and the Raging Wolf set from his request.

to those wishing it wasn’t so bulky, try altering the proportions of your character’s chest and abdomen to make them smaller. because the set is so chunky, very low values look normal while wearing it.

The Elden Lord Set with the chest piece(altered) from this looks really great. They have the same type of silver and dull gold hues so they match up well. I find it looks really cool on female body type in a way the two sets don’t on their own.

Don't know. I wanted this set so much and the stats are really god, however after using the Scaled Set for so long I ended up getting used to a more "slim" set. This one is kinda bulky. Absurdly beautiful, but bulky. Thinking of staying with the Scaled set (it also fits better with my helmet of choice, the Greathelm).

This is one of the best defensive sets from a statistical standpoint. For context Lionel's armor and the Bull-Goat set only has slightly better defensive values but are waaaay heavier.

If you’re looking for a better head piece the blue noble hood goes amazing with the altered version of the chest piece that has the cape

From the 'Beside the great bridge" grace head up but instead of going to the boss turn around and head down the bridge. Head inside the building and out through another doorway, turn right and climb down the ladder, at the end of the rooftop before the chest containing the Old Lord's Talisman Recusant Bernahl will invade you if the boss is not dead. If you killed the boss of the area he will not invade you and you are SOL until NG+.

Just got this without killing Bernahl.
I ended Volcano manor by completing the whole questline (didnt do Bernahls side objective) and he then invaded me on a rooftop in Crumbling Farum Azula. Upon killing him i got his weapon (the mace), his armor set and the Blasphemous Claw

Don’t kill this guy until after his quest line. It will prevent you from getting the Hoslow and Raging Wolf armor.

To get this set, gp to the warmaster shack. it's directly north on the map from the Gatefront SoG. You will need to kill the NPC inside to acquire the set.

Theres a guy at the WarMasters Shack not far from Stormhill where the chick in the red hood is moping he has this armor set on not the helm but armor and he looks like Liam Neeson or Qui-Gon Jin he sells Weapon arts to.
