Almoçar 7+ hours, at onde point only gauntlets needed and didnt drop
Very frustrating but worth It, im using everything that i farmed out of the ****ing soldier

The elite. Can be farmed right from the beginning of the game, looks nice, and has a passable amount of poise without being super heavy. Love this set.

To save you some time, you just need the Helmet, Chest, and Leggings, the Godrick Soldier Gauntlets give the same amount of Poise for 0.4 less weight, which can matter early in the game with low levels of Endurance. The entire reason why you'd want to farm this set in the first place is because it has 51 Poise, which is above the 50 Poise threshold needed to not get staggered by several monster attacks, so this'll work nicely for the near entirety of your playthrough for the most part unless you want to spend a ton of points on Endurance to wear a mix of super heavy armor like Fire Prelate, Lionel, Tree Sentinel, or Bull-Goat alongside the Bull-Goat's Talisman to reach the next threshold of 100 Poise.

I feel a little bad after reading the comments, I got the chest piece back in Gatefront Ruins, it took me like 2 kills, and then I killed the mounted knight near Warmaster's Shack once and got the helmet

Never knew it was supposed to be hard, I just got plain lucky

These Knights are curiously rare to find. Ironically, none of these knights or even Godrick Soldiers are in Stormveil Castle. And i think there only like...5 or so in the game. The one at Gatefront ruins, the one with golden vow aow, the one near Warmasters Shack, the one with bloody slash in fort haight...is that it? So many oppurtunities to use this enemy and none has been used. Wouldve made the farm so much less tedious. As Luck would have it, the boys at the gatefront ruins usually get to experience my cool new spirit ashes firsthand and somehow, the party always ends with someone dead. Either way, i have this armor on several playthroughs, while in my Godrick Knight Cosplay Playthrough i miss only that damn helmet. Unfair! Outrageous! Anyways, back to farming.

I like using the Godrick Soldier / Foot Soldier gloves with the Godrick Knight leggings along with the Kaiden Armor and Helmet.

Drop rate on this is ****ing ridiculous. 200+ discovery and at least 150 kills later I just have a helmet, 3 partizans, and a shield. I'd rather farm proofs and shackles than this.

What a miserable farm, how are there so few of them and they're scattered so far apart. Even the gatefront one is an incredibly tedious back and forth despite being so close to TWO sites of grace

Took me FOREVER at Gatefront. Like most of the other users, using spirits really helps to cut down the time you spend fighting him. Depending on how far along you are, I recommend using some form of Bleed on him. For me, I used the Hookclaws with the Quickstep weapon art. Put Sonic to shame how speedy quick I was moving around that man. Wolves are good, and same with Godrick’s Spirit Bois. Jerry and Larry do better in a sustained fight so I opted for them. Plus they look cooler (sorry wolves.)

I farmed from Gatefront about 7 or 8 times, just luring the knight and killing him. Got the full set (and three shields). Perhaps i just got lucky.

The camp west of the saints bridge site of grace has a knight with a greatsword instead of the spear and the cliff above has a mounted knight who will drop the golden vow ash of war

Not sure if this is happening for anyone else, but trying to wear the altered version of the chestpiece for this set crashes my game. Something to look out for.

Took me 2 hours just to get the chest piece. But it looks so good that I don't regret a secound of it. Also got like 8 greatshields and 1 partizan out of the farm.

The only newbie i see here is the comment before this one. This is an armor set people like to peacefully farm before anything else. So you dont have arcane boost items or discovery boost items by the time you are trying to farm this set in the Gatefront ruins. People like to enjoy the game calmly instead of getting torrent and going to far away areas to get things early as possible. That's not being a 'pro' in the game, that just means you either already played with other character or spoiled yourself looking for informations from wiki or youtube videos. The ammount of people who think they are good in this game just because they have previously knowledge is absurd lol. Anyway, have a nice farm and good rng for everyone trying to get this armor. Be safe.

Pro-tip to all of you farmers: Use all items, talismans and armor that mention at the description that they boost item drop rate or arcane. The difference is huge.

I found the best place to farm it is the Tower of Return. There's a mounted knight there, two soldiers, and 7 foot soldiers. You can farm other common stuff there (like soldier gear) while also trying to get the suit. The closest grace point is the merchants shack.

Overall, I found this suit of armor a decent upgrade over the vagabond suit. It's heavier but it protects better in every area.

Such an awesome looking set set. One thing to mention: A Godrick Knight on horseback spawns at the Tower of Return far north of the Tombsward Cave. Be careful because the tower has a turret, and DO NOT open the chest unless you really want to be stuck at the Divine Bridge.

Luckily if you restart the game you can actually hit a site of grace as everything loads in, which ignores that dirty effect which keeps you from fast traveling to any other site than that damned bridge.. I actually thought Marcus Eversworn was done for.

Quite possibly the best early set you can farm, before Margit and Godrick. It'll take a player an hour or two to farm for the whole set however. You'll need some persistence.

The drop rate on this set is bs! 4 heads, 1 boot, 3 shields, 2 spears in 1 hour. I just nead the dam chest and grieves from software. why you make it painful to grind.

It took me about 1 hour to farm the whole set. I used the phantom wolves to distract him and used dual great swords. Jump attack till he's dead, then rest and repeat till I got everything.

I just completed the set: Helm, Gauntlet, Armor, Greaves, Weapon, Shield. It took me between 2-4 hours of grinding. I think I was pretty unlucky as the last piece I needed kept eluding me (the Armor). I found the shortest route was to approach him from Agheel Lake North. Crouch up to the fire/brazier and hit him with a ranged attack before he turns around/raises his guard. It takes a good chunk of his health away. He will follow you, so turn around and lead him out of the camp. Usually a single shield user will come as well. Kill the mob first. If you have his spear already, the special attack/focus attack pierces his shield and briefly staggers him. Hit him with it and then back up to avoid his counter attack. Repeat until he dies. If you don't have the spear you can abuse jump attacks when he tries to swing his spear. Learn through trial and error which attacks you can jump over and which you have to back away from. Started farming this at level 30 and was able to kill two of the knights relatively quickly. Got entire set and weapons after an hour or so, took about 40 runs. I think I was luckier than usual... Head north of Warmaster's Shack along wooded path, then east to get atop the ridge. Kill mounted knight behind ruins (just west of Deathtouched Catacombs), then jump off cliff to the south (using Torrent) and land atop the ruin where you get the lance. Jump down and kill knight seated at fire with two dogs in the enemy camp. Teleport back to Warmaster's.

I want to confirm for everyone that the WHOLE SET can drop at the Gatefront Ruins. It can take hours, but it is solid gear. At least early game.

Took me 171 kills to get the whole set. I farmed North East of Warmaster's Shack, it is a quick ride on Torrent over there and there is 1 knight on a horse behind a ruin by the cliff. He is easy to kill repeatedly and in my opinion easier to farm than the one at Gatefront Ruins because you can smash him on horseback before he can retaliate.

Drop rate must be bonkers. Been farming the gate ruins guy on and off for a couple days now and I’ve gotten 7 of their shields and 5 of their helmet. :/ no chest piece gloves or shoes

I got the chest, gloves and boots all at once when not trying to get it. On another character I grinded for 2 hours and got nothing.

For those that have a hard time getting the helmet and chest to drop. Patience. I grinded the godrick knight for like 2 hours and finally got the helmet. I got the helmet, the gloves, the boots, the greatshield, and the partisan spear. Just still grinding the chest. Patience is a virtue.

You can farm most of the set off the captain in gatefront ruins, however I haven’t got the helmet from him so far.
