Cuckoo Knight Set is an Armor Set in Elden Ring. Cuckoo Knight Set is worn by Raya Lucaria Knights found primarily in Liurnia of the Lakes.
Sets of Armor in Elden Ring are composed of four armor pieces which are Helms, Chest Armor, Gauntlets, and Leg Armor.
Where to find Cuckoo Knight Set in Elden Ring
Cuckoo Knight Set pieces are dropped from Cuckoo Knights, found in Liurnia of the Lakes.
- Four knights can be found northeast of the East Raya Lucaria Gate site of grace.
- Looping north there are four Cuckoo Knights in the immediate area, three mounted on horseback and one sitting by the large chunk of ruins.
- The mounted knight on the road only spawns during the daytime, as it is replaced by a Night's Cavalry during the night. Even after defeating the Night's Cavalry, the knight still does not spawn at nighttime.
- Starting from Northern Liurnia Lake Shore Grace, running back to The Four Belfries Grace, there is a Cuckoo Knight mounted on a horse patrolling the roads.

compared to the other knight variants, this blows away the competition when it comes to pure drip in my opinion

Yes john, go seek the elden ring. Dont worry about your maiden, she will be fine

So named because they were trying to usurp the native Carians I guess

I always wear this set when invading other players' maidens
Why do everyone have problems with the Chestplate? I got 12 pieces and all the other 3 things only got one
- Anonymous
I finally got the chestplate!
I know it's random, but it's always fun, this was the resulting loot from the grind: 2 knight's greatswords, 4 partisans, 10 greatshields, 10 helms, 5 gauntlets and 9 greaves.
All in all, 40 other drops before the chestplate...

Man the folk in The Lands Between were really into jousting huh

After 10 shields, 6 partisans, 8 greaves, 5 gauntlets and 8 helmets I finally got my first chestplate ... so it really exists

There is a 5th knight near the 1st one, you just need to go around the corner of a boulder toward the south and he will be there near some goats.

So much easier to farm from Bellum Church grace than the method listed here. From grace, head SW to the one mounted knight, kill him and repeat. I didn't even bother with the other knights close by since they have annoying buddies to slow you down. You can fit 6+ kills in the span of 1 Fowl Foot with an endgame farming build, just running back and forth between this 1 knight and the grace. Doublejump in and out of the hole in the SW corner of the church with Torrent.

spent an hour farming for radan knight chestpiece, got literally everything (helmet, gauntlets, greaves, greatsword, shield, partisan, greatbow) except the chestpiece.
I decide to just settle for cuckoo chestpiece instead since it looks a bit better and same poise anyway
I got it second try

Huge fan of the blue-and-red with gold trim look. If you could get rid of the steel feather on the helmet, this would probably be at least #2 for me

Elden Bling Recommendation:
Helm: Cuckoo Knight Helm
Body: Twinned Armor
Arms: Hoslow's Gauntlets
Legs: Royal Knight Greaves
Weapon (R) 1: Moonveil
Weapon (R) 2: Twinblade
Weapon (L) 1: Demi-Human Queen's Staff
Use the East Raya Lucaria Gate MOG to begin. Follow the path and kill the first knight that's ahead of you. Then kill the one to the left of the path, and then the one in the wooded area to the right of the path. Finally, you won't have to worry about the enemy with the horn as you've already killed the other knights in the vicinity. Summon some wolves to let them clean up the weak enemies whilst you focus the last knight; but first take out the mage on the ruins as he can be annoying to deal with whilst fighting the rest of the enemies.
Notes:
-The first 3 knights in this order will be on horseback.
-You can focus the horse to dismount the knight. He will fall on the floor, giving you an opportunity to execute him with a light attack.
-Consuming a Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot at the start of your run will increase the drop chance of the armour. You need a Missionary's Cookbook [3] to craft this item, which can be found at the Smoldering Church in North-East Caelid.
These knights also drop a "Knight's Greatsword" and "Cuckoo Greatshield"
Rinse and repeat until you own the set!

Been farming for this set, needed just one more piece and RNG was being mean. Thus I became the terror of all cuckoo knights...the dreaded pants bandit. The last thing they heard before I stuck em...'Your pants...drop em.'

There's actually 4 knights on horseback and 1 on foot. The knight in the road ahead of grace, the 2 to the left in the tree line nearby, and then to the right of the resting knight by the ruins is another horseback knight patrolling a little further back.

Tfw you want to use this cool knight set with a cool longsword with the square off ash, only to realize the mini-shield clips through your entire arm and juts out from your chest awkwardly (more so than usual) when you use the skill.
I don't understand. Why make these really cool, fashionably versatile sets and then ruin them with a single addition? Especially when you have implemented a tool specifically to tailor the appearance of armor to your liking? It would take so little effort.

Those Cuckoo legs... With how often they drop, I almost went Cuckoo myself.

Pro-tip for anyone who doesn't like the mini-chest shield on any of the "knight" armor variations; if you equip the crimson or navy hood, it removes it!

There are actually five Cuckoo Knights in the first area suggested.
1. Kill the knight on the road.
2. Turn west and kill the knight near a rocky outcrop.
3. Head north and kill the other night moving up and down the path to the church. (Visible from knight 2's location.)
4. Head east and kill the knight patrolling the cliffside.
5. Turn northwest and kill the knight sitting in front of the ruins. (Visible from knight 4's location.)
I just leave knight 5 though. Unless you don't care about the runes you have on you, you'll have to clear out all the other foot soldiers in the area in order to warp back to the grace. Additionally, if you're using any kind of heavy weapon, the knights on horseback can be stunlocked to death without having to get off Torrent.

To the people making hilarious comments about the name of this armor set - you do realize that in nature the cuckoo birds are the ones who do the cucking right? They lay their eggs in the nests of other birds, the egg hatches and the cuckoo chick kills the other birds' chicks, and then the other birds raise the cuckoo chick as their own.

I’m using the carian knight helm+cuckoo knight armor+ cuckoo knight gauntlets+ cuckoo knight greaves for my faith/knight build. It looks amazing! Far better than the regular cuckoo knight set.

100+ hours in and I'm still looking for something to replace the MLG Knight armor

adding to all the other comments, didnt get a single helmet in 10 runs with 99 arcane + silver bug talisman

Memeable name aside, this is the coolest variant of the Regional Knight sets imo.

I've ran through the East Raya Lucatia Gate atleast 30+ times... I've got enough partisans to build my own army, 5 armors, 4 greaves, 5 gauntlets, and atleast 3 shields. Not one single helm. The RNG gods do not like me.

i got every set piece at least 5 times before i got a helmet. wtf is up with that?

A recent, but unnoticed patch note reads that this set (at least one armor piece on) will no longer make you "crazy for cocoa puffs"
The drop on these pieces actually seems really fair. I still had to grind to get it all, but not for 2 hours like with some other pieces. Only took about 20 minutes at the site mentioned above.

if farming cuckoo knights is too complicated on you, an easier way is going to east raya lucaria gate and north east east from the site of grace, fall off the small cliff and kill the knight, then fast travel to the east raya lucaria gate grace, rinse and repeat

I don't know if my game is messed up but my torso is invisible when putting on the Cuckoo Knight Armor. It crashes my game too. I'm on PC with patch 1.03.1

The highest phys def armor I've found after 60h of playing.
Kinda sucks you can't upgrade armor at all.

Such a shame about the ecranche (the mini-shield strapped near the left shoulder). These sets would be so much cleaner if it was just plain plate with the surcoat over it. Surprised you can't get rid of it with the tailoring tools.

The armor set is a real rare drop for me, I have about 10 partizans 1 helmet and 2 sets of gauntlets. Hope it isn't as tough for the rest of you out there.
The best farm strat I could work out is:
1.Start at East Raya Lucaria Gate.
2.Use a pickled foot.
3.Head north and kill the 1st mounted knight.
4.North North east for the 2nd mounted knight.
5.West for the 1st foot knight in the middle of the forest.
6.West again for the 3rd mounted Knight.
7.Down past bellum church and the merchant for the 2nd foot knight.
9.Repeat
My silver pickled foot would run out just before step 7 but you could do it if you are faster.
you can also get the Knight on the east cliff but I found going all that way was slower same with the Knights by the lift.
Took me about 11 runs to get the hole set. (not including the boots which took me 22 more. rip my luck)

You can farm a few cuckoo knights at Bellum Church. If you're a lower level then you can ride your horse down the big arch in front of the grace, past the merchant, and there's a lone cuckoo knight patrolling the highway you can sneak up on. Drops the armor, shield, and knight's greatsword. If you can beat them comfortably, then there are two more in the ruins behind the church you can go after, surrounded by some footsoldiers. Take care if you do this at night though, a Night's Calvary boss will spawn in front of them (drops the glaive he wields too). The cuckoo set seems to be better than the other regional variants I've come across for some reason. The set matches nicely with the greathelm you can buy from a merchant in Caelid.
If u get summoned wearing this, u only can watch
