AnonymousActually - this is a pretty decent set considering the damage negotiation and poise towards its weight. Especially since you can obtain this set extremely early in the game by backstabbing a few Godrick Soldiers near the church of Elleh. This set got me through the early game pretty well.

I finally beat him and went to Enia to get his armor set but it doesn't appear in the "Receive Equipment of Champions" tab, is my game bugged?

Memes aside, am I the only one weirded out by how good the basic soldier equipment is in this game? You've got a bunch of fairly lightweight sets with good poise and slightly altered resistances to deal with different damage types, a straight sword AND a greatsword with bonus critical damage, the (widely considered) best medium shield in the game, a decent lightweight greatshield, and a high base damage crossbow to poke and force approaches. Yeah, it's basic, but it really doesn't have any weaknesses. Not to mention fashion. Good gravy.

Wearing this set immediately makes you invincible to everything. Yes, even gravity. Such is the reach and power of soldier of god, Rick. But beware, you and the world will spontaneously combust if you disgrace this legendary armor

I just the chestplate was named to be more align with the other armor, since it's difficult to know which armor goes with which in the inventory screen

So we can farm the outfit and the straight sword, find the greatsword, and farm the spear from the knights....but is there no Lordsworn's Spear from the soldiers?
Usually FromSoft puts the really good armor near the end of your journey, but I was surprised that the best armor was right after the tutorial. Thank you Miyazaki and praise god Rick!
