Gelmir Knight Set is an Armor Set in Elden Ring. Gelmir Knight Set an Armor piece set that still has not lost its luster. It bears an emblem that none wear any longer, standing as it does for a lord that fell from loft ambition into gluttonous depravity. As the lord lost his dignity, so too did these knights lose their master. Sets of Armor in Elden Ring are composed of four armor pieces which are Helms, Chest Armor, Gauntlets, and Leg Armor.
Where to find Gelmir Knight Set in Elden Ring
- You can loot the entire Gelmir Knight Set in the Gelmir Hero's Grave dungeon from a Gelmir Knight corpse. See it on the Elden Ring Map here.
- To find the corpse, head down the first Chariot hallway until you see a pit on either side of the central concrete walkway instead of lava. Drop down into the left pit onto some wooden beams and look for a small window along the walls. Head through this window and down the ladder to find a Bloodhound Knight guarding the corpse.

Gelmir Knight Set Elden Ring Notes and Tips
- The Gelmir Knight Armor can be altered to the Gelmir Knight Armor (Altered) to remove the cape.
- There are no Gelmir Knights alive, thus only a corpse located in the Gelmir Hero's Grave yields the armor. The Spirit found in the Volcano Manor wears the same armor and may very well be a former Gelmir Knight.
- The Gelmir Knight's corpse is guarded by a single Bloodhound Knight, who also drops its full armor set.
- The crest of the cape is identical to the one on the Distinguished Greatshield.

As annoying as it is to get this set, it's still preferable to farming. I think the ideal way of doing this is have armor and weapons you can get early by farming, but then later on get them either as guaranteed loot or a vendor who sells them. Like in DS1 with the Baldur Knight set. Or maybe have some sets in NG+ as loot if there's not a way to give them late game. With the bell bearing system they could have even had that as a late loot to buy armor sets. Also please give us full transmog like convergence mod.
Normally I don't really wear entire sets, instead i mix-match everything, but this one is the exception... It's worth every single one of the 18 deaths I had to endure when I stumbled my way through that Dungeon, because it looks so dope.

Closest you can get to the elite knight set from DS1 in ER in my opinion (if you replace the helmet), because of this it's one of my favorite sets
The helmet looks kinda goofy, but otherwise this set is pretty good.

For this set, and all the other generic 51 poise knight sets, you can swap out the boots (14) and helmet (8) for aristocrat headband (2) and scaled greaves (20). You can see your face + hair and save a bit of weight.

This set with the helm swapped out for the greathelm is honestly some S tier fashion souls. I cover up the dumb chest shield with a greatshield in order to make it look just a little bit nicer.

If yall dont like the chest plate you can alter it and then wear something like the confessor hood and it removes it. You lose the cape but its kind of worth it lol.

Normal banished knight helm + gelmir chest + gelmir gauntlets + blaidds greaves is a great armor combo

Awful looking just like the other 4 or 5 others. Stupid chest plate. Bloodhound set is awfull. Chest peice bulges out way too far and looks stupid. TELL YOU, the set to use. Blake knife armour, bull goat gauntlets, Veterans Helm and Radahns Greaves. You can use Perfumer sarong instead of greavs for female charecters for that flirty but functional look. Welcome

We may have the gelmir knight set but we don't have the armor of the soldier and foot soldier so you have 2 options from software either add it or don't do anything

With a paw of luck, it took me over 100 kills in Liurnia to knock out the chestplate. At the same time, I have 9 swords, 8 bracers, etc.

Definitely one of the most fashionable and elegant knight sets in the game, despite the shoulder shield. Colorful, sleek, and practical, with great proportions to boot (minus the helm). If anyone were in doubt, there is a plate chestpiece underneath the tabard.

I won't lie... They don't mention how much of a pain it is to get there.
I'm using this armor + camail + veteran greaves and gauntlets and paired with the claymore I absolutely love it. I'm in NG+ and switched from a more defensive armor and helm just for the fashion lol

The Gelmir Knight in question also appears as the ghost in Volcano Manor, the one urging you to kill Rykard. If you look closely, the ghost is wearing this armor minus the helmet.

No idea why you can’t remove the emblem on the armor through the tailoring function. Only removing the cape on sets is super annoying.

This is a great set if you are going paladin vibes, just get the full helm. it's a requirement before you reclaim the holy land. Also out of all the knight sets, this has the best cloak.

So i think i figured this armour set out:
There are actually 4 different variants: 3 associated with 3 different groups and the 4th belonging to a deceased group
First one is the Godrick Knight armor
The metal plating is bronze while the tabard orange and green and shows a heraldic Tree and i think a griffin
Set pieces drop very rarely from the equally rare Godrick Knights which are located outside of Stormveil Castle
Second one is the Cuckoo Knight armor
Silver metal with a red and blue tabard, showing a random bird wing and i think a raven too
The helmet on top of having a plume, also has a massive feather on the forehead too
These drop from the Raya Lucaria Knights which are pretty common near the Academy itself
Best farming spot is the East Raya Lucaria Gate grace which is northeast from the academy because there are 4 isolated mounted knight patrolling different sections of the forest and one dismounted knight who is accompanied by resting soldiers
Third one is the Leyndell Knight armor
Golden metal and the tabard is a pure bright yellow and only shows the eldtree instead of two things at once
The head piece looks the most different from the other variants: Instead of a plume, the helmet got a massive metal head piece which i think shows the eldtree too
Pieces from the Leyndell Knights which are everywhere in the Capital
Fourth set and the one which is the wiki page about is the Gelmir Knight Set
Associated with the Praetor Rykard who resides on Mount Gelmir, everything went to **** at that place and except a few foot soldiers, his whole army is gone, included all knights
The metal is a classic metallic grey and the tabard is a very dark grey, possible even black while it shows some kind of lines instead of an animal or the eldtree
Since all the Knights are gone, you can only find the set inside The Gelmir Hero's Grave catacomb (Which is a brutal place by the way)
The whole set will be behind a single Bloodhound Knight who drops his own armour too by the way

Full set can be found in Gelmir Hero's Grave along with a full set of Bloodhound Knight Set. Jump off one of the ramps in a wheel trap area, right before the spooky black ghost shadow enemy.

In my opinion, there is no doubt this set is one of the best drip set in elden ring (sorry for my bed england)
Pretty good set if youre trying to make a elite knight fashion pair the chest with just the basic knight armor and youre good to go
