- Also affects Ash of War: Aspects of the Crucible: Wings and Devonia's Vortex.

The weight of the crucible sets make it real hard to justify using other armor sets, I have to say. They're so light for for what they give.

I love my dude being naked, he is so hot. But I also love 17% extra damage.
What to do?

Does this set increase DMG on greatswords skills; the one that drops from the same boss? Or does it only works on Inca?

Wear this with the dlc’s Ashe of war aspect Wings and you hit like a truck with a Twinblade lol

1) Equip entire set except helm
2) Equip Karolos Glinstone Crown
3) Equip Bull-Goat Talisman
4) Equip Zweihander, infuse it with Fire
5) The legend lives on....

Really wish there was some plates or even a short mail skirt covering the crotch like the Silver Knights' greaves in DS because it's the only thing holding it back from perfection imo.
Wear this set with the Omensmirk Mask + Bullgoat Talisman to have 88 poise for only 33.8 Miyazakis (good luck finding a lighter setup for that amount of effective poise) and you even get +2 strength on top of that as a bonus. In short, become GIANT.

This armor with radahns gauntlets and greaves not only give it better stats, but also still fits the look, if not make it slightly cooler looking (at least imo).

My only gripe is how the area where your dong is soooo exposed. At least put a loincloth there, it sticks out.

Why does this have a different buff information compared to the equipment special effects?
Each piece of the set gives a 4% damage increase to Aspects of the Crucible Incantations.
Wearing the full armor set gives a 16% total damage increase (since the buffs stack multiplicatively).
Strengthens Aspect of the Crucible Incantations (+3.5% per piece)

Weapons that visually fit to this armor set:
- Hammer.
- Gargoyle Halberd (somewhat).
- Cipher Pata.
- Ordovis Greatsword/Siluria's Tree (obviously).
- Partisan (fits very well).
- Great Stars (somewhat).
- Serpent-God's Curved Sword (perfect color match).
- Troll's Golden Sword.
So yeah, if you wanna make visually fitting Crucible Knight build with something other than vanilla crucible weapons, take a look at that list.

Why does the good poise : weight ratio armour have to be so damn ugly :(

"Wearing the full armor set gives a 16% total damage increase (since the buffs stack multiplicatively)."
Whoever wrote this does not know what multiplicatively means.

this is probably the best defense per weight ratio set in the game for what are considered "heavy" armor. it shares almost the standard defense as lionels set yet weighs a whopping 13 less then it.

simply refuses to go with anything other than other crucible gear

Just gonna come out and say this is the best looking armor in the game

It's weird how this and the Crucible Tree set are basically the signature 'poise' armors in Elden Ring (Enemy wearing this has basically unlimited poise, it was the only high poise armor in CNT) yet its poise is almost half of the Bull-Goat Set and doesn't even reach 80 poise with the Bull-Goat Talisman.

This set with Malikith's helm looks great FYI. I liked this (and Crucible Tree) over other sets because of the holy resistance. I used other armor sets but switched back to this because of the resistances. When you do multiple play throughs you get one or two shotted either way, but I found that I was not taking as much damage from Radagon/Elden Beast using this set. Anyway, can't go wrong here. :)

I'm disappointed that this doesn't give you at least 60 poise...Fok it Imma still wear it looks dope

Compared to the Crucible Tree Set, this set has:
.4 less physical defense
.9 less slash defense
1.5 more pierce defense
1.3 more fire defense
1.4 less holy defense
13 more robustness
2 more vitality
The rest of the stats are identical.

Man, these guys look like demons but they're actually holy knights of a life tree.

For those struggling with mixing this set with other armors, the Fire Monk Hood looks great, weighs 2.6 pounds less than the helmet, and best of all you can see your characters face!

This set should have a million poise, like actual crucible knights
Here is the in-game description as of 1.04 - https://imgur.com/a/SCBB6Jg

Can I mix it up with the Tree Set (like Axe Helmet and Tree Chest, Arm and Greaves are the same for both Sets) and get the full buff or Helmet and Chest from the same Set?

Where does it state that it is the armor of sixteen knights? I'm unable to verify this in my own game.
"Armor of the Crucible Knights who served Godfrey, the First Elden Lord.
Worn by the knight Ordovis and his men.
Hold the power of the crucible of life, the primordial form of the Erdtree. Strengthen Aspects of the Crucible incantations."
The other pieces have some extra added, but do not mention there being sixteen knights in my game.

One of the better looking sets except for the distracting hole in the armor at the crotch. You’ve got to protect the family jewels, man.
- Anonymous
The tree set has marginally better physical defense, whilst this set has marginally better robustness (the stat for bleed resist).
- Anonymous
Kinda bogus this is like the only armor set where ALL pieces benefit you in some way spell wise... sorc armors? Legit just put the hat on and wear whatever tf you want lmao

I saw people wearing this set during the network tests in november. Was the location changed in the release build?
- Anonymous
Can anyone give me an idea for a helm/hood that would fit with this armor? I just hate how this helm is smaller than my character's head.

This is kind of a weird one. Imo none of the armor pieces looks good individually but when wearing the full set it looks awesome
- Anonymous
IMO one of the better armor sets. Decent defensive stats and not overly heavy.

I love the look of the helmet but unfortunately, its red so it doesnt fit with any other amor set in the game. If it was silver or at the very least brass, it would've been such golden fashion souls potential, but alas. Lets hope DLCs will bring some sort of variation to this.
Just got this set, and it looks as good as it performs. It's a set you could run almost any melee build with, if you're willing to sacrifice some poise for heavy builds, and add extra endurance for lighter builds. I run dual Reduvias mixed with incants and the coil shield, and I LOVE how well it's done so far. Keeps me alive and unstaggered very well. The fight to get it can be crazy hard, but it's 100% worth the effort.

this is incredible. Same damage negation than most 40+ kg armors while being lighter and it comes with a passive. Just wow
- Anonymous
The drip is immaculate. I’m going to be powerstancing ordovis’s greatsword with the blasphemous blade while sporting this sexy armor
- Anonymous
Tested this: tail damage 400, equipped 4 piece set, tail damage 464 (16% increase). Removed the helm, 448 damage. Looks like a 4% damage increase per piece. Marginal but it's not a bad mid-weight armour set.

Can I just mix and match the set or do I need to wear all of the set for the benefits? New player here

Great armor set but its not the best, you will fight for your life to obtain this set.

You should be able to throw the helmet to end them rightly
