my character is wearing this set but with the blackflame hood instead of the weird orange one that doesnt really match. fashion is definitely fashioning

If you struggle to drop the greaves in Liurnia, according to my experience the one by the entrance to Fort Laiedd drops them a lot more often than any other piece.

This set looks so good, a shame that Youtubers like Youwwy and Rusty hate it.
Farmed the Monk southeast of Eastern Tableland for ~1 hour. Got 3 Flamemaces; 4 Hoods, 5 Armors, 3 Gauntlets, 1 Greaves, ~100 Smoldering Butterflies and a metric ****load of Rowa Fruit from the 3 bushes on the route.

Imagine the recruitment flyers these dudes hand out. You show up on a college campus wearing this and you got 50 guys bunking up in leaky shacks and eating gruel for every meal before they even realize it's a religion

very drippy with helmets that are similar color, like fingerprint helmet, and fire prelate helmet

Actually looks pretty good with the Twinmage Glintstone Crown. The fur and sleeves are wide enough that it doesn't look top-heavy, the giant face matches the weirdness, and the red gives it a nice RGB color scheme. And you get them all in the same area.
Peak early game meme fashion.

110 discovery and I suddenly got all four pieces from a single kill in the camp by Eastern Tableland. Still no hammer, though.

This set doesn't show up on the interactive map for some reason

cutest set in the game, +10 style points if you pair this with the visage shield or one eyed shield

Will use it on my pure caster pyromancer, because I have no imagination. Might consider different headgear.

If you plan a character ahead of time like I've done after my first tarnished, and you want this set as quickly as possible to play through the rest of the game with (until ive gotten the black flame set, in my case), find the Folly on the Lake grace sit. It sits on the border between the poison section and regular section of water. About northeast, there's 2 fire branch guys and a single monk. You can lure the 2 out individually and kill them and then go for the big man. I recommend a straight sword with square off. I farmed it without leveling up my vagabond or his longsword.

Doesn't go nearly as hard as the Blackflame Monk set, but still aight

Wore Robe w/ Raging Wolf Helm and greaves, and the drip is quite respectable. Also has better stats than the Wolf set, oddly enough, but its great nonetheless.

Discovery 324 took 3 kills at Giant Conquering cave to get the set and the mace too. Around 45 seconds to get

This and the Black Flame variety are the most battlemage looking sets in the game. Even more so than the battlemage set. Everything but the face on the chest piece.

wore this with the great helm and using the greatsword for half the game until i realized i was just cosplaying as a cathedral knight

This is one of the most amazing looking sets in the game but pretty much half of the sleeve clips straight through nearly every shield so I can’t bring myself to wear it. I just can’t ignore it. Fromsoft, please ignore the balancing and mechanic issues and prioritize patching this for drip reasons

The helmet goes great with nearly any armor, great for fashion. The chest piece is almost top notch for a battle mage type character, but the breastplate is just misshapen enough to look goofy.

Looks really nice with the great helm. Running a paladin with it on and I love it

Easiest place to farm is hands down Giant-Conquering Hero's Grave. Run down the steps from the grace, kill the Fire Monk, run back to rest (so you don't lose silver fowl-foot), repeat. Can probably get in 10+ per foot this way. The mob is only about a 5 sec run from the grace

West of Seethwater Terminus, ride to the north of the fort and kill the solitary Monk by the fire, then go right of him around a rock formation to find another Fire Monk and a cultist fighting a soldier. Kill him, teleport back, rinse wash repeat.

I literally have 3 of everything but the chest piece…Aka the only piece I actually wanted

Got lucky I think after reading the comments here. Only killed one monk once by passing, and I got both the chestpiece and leggings from him

Best farm I've found is a suicide method so spend all your runes first so you arent wasting time retreiving.
Go to Scenic Isle Grace and travel south and a tiny bit west, youll find a flame camp with 2 fire monks.
When you get there kill the fire monk outside the camp up the hill first then run down into the camp and kill the second.
Let the fire witches kill you and respawn at the state of marika. To loop efficiently Immediatly mount up and travel around the left of the wooden barricades and kill the monk before he travels too far up the hill.
Do them in this order because If you die too far up the hill you wont get the option to respawn at the statue and will need to run over from scenic isle again.
Took me about 5 minutes to get the full set and weapon.

Farmed this set by scenic isle grace by going southwest. There's 3 abbots nearby on this spot. 2 patrols and 1 camp. Also remember to use silver pickled fowl foot for extra item discovery buff. Also this buff does not wear off by fast traveling.

My arcane stat is 9. Never leveled it at all. I farmed this for about 20 minutes, and only found the hood... Later -and I have no idea if this had an effect on drop chance- I bought some Silver Fowl Feet (Boosts Item Drop chance). I never actually USED them, but immediately after buying them I got the rest of the set pieces in about 15 minutes of farming. I actually got 2 pieces of the set in the same kill, witch hood and grieves dropping at the same time! Is there a hidden boost for item drop chance after purchasing Silver Fowl Feet? Maybe I was just insanely lucky.

The hood sucks but slap a Greathelm on your head and this **** is drip-city. Might want Erdtree's Favor or the Arsenal Talisman or something for the weight though.

Set is a pain in the ass to farm out. Best place I found was the Eastern Tablelands grace site. Head South down the road and there will be a pack and then a camp to the NW of that. Reset and repeat.

There's also a "Blackflame monk" set in the tower of Caelid farming it right now and it's a pain.

Can be looted by killing the heavy Fire Monks in Lake of Liurna, they have camps all around the lake but not within it. Keep to the outskirts. If you follow the straight path from the lake-facing checkpoint you'll run into one about 3/4ths of the way around
I farmed this set very early game and wore it pretty much up until the end, it's got great all round stats and is not crazy heavy. Only issue I have is that I like the look of the blackflame set more on my mage, yet it's stats are worse in just about every category. I'm not sure why. Anyway, you ain't getting better armor than this early game.
