General Radahn Set Elden Ring Notes and Tips
- The Radahn's Lion Armor can be altered to the Radahn's Lion Armor (Altered) to remove the cape.
- This set has very similar stats to the Banished Knight Set, only slightly heavier (if you are using the altered chest and helmet, otherwise the weight is identical) and provides slightly more protection in some areas, and slightly less protection in other areas. The chest piece offers better protection overall compared to the altered chest piece of the banished knight set that you can get much earlier, but not substantially more (same is true for the altered Banished Knight Helm, but there are two banished knights in Stormveil that you can farm for that).
- Poise updated to patch 1.07. See Patch Notes for details.

Looks best when you make your character's face super dark, makes you look like Darth Vader or something.

I have the full banished knight set, altered. This article says it's on par with radahn's set, but what's your opinion? Should I spend the coin to upgrade?

This + Bloodhound's Fang + Brass Shield if you want to cosplay the guy I parried 7 times in a row in the colosseum.

Somehow, I manage to invade people wearing this set with his swords and everything, even though I’m level 33 on my first play through.

If only when wearing this set would Torrent shrink down to 12" high. That would make my day.

Take the piss all you like now, but if you go after the death rite bird in consecrated snowfield for the 'explosive ghostflame' spell this sets high robustness will outweigh any and all other concerns. The ghostflame it uses against players can hone in on you regardless of the bird having line of sight or even being on the same elevation or even having a part of the cliff face between you and it.

Expect fetid pots, pointing down and t-bags from anyone wearing this set lmao

I'm personally doing this set, but the altered banished knight helm. I always love how the red cape clip-fights with the long white hair. And then my greatshield on top of that, and the Zweihandler above that. Overall, it makes me look like a humanoid porcupine, and has very much confused a few invaders.

Does any one know if you can buy the set again if you sell it?

Any other legs and gauntlets for other sets which match well with the Radahn chest? I'm finding colour matching for this particular gold quite difficult but I have a need to swap those huge shinguards out for something else.

I am currently playing with this full set on. Was rune farming at Palace Approach Ledge-Road. Left to help my brother beat a boss. Needed better magic defense. Changed out 2 pieces of armor. All done with that and went back to rune farming. Noticed my runes were lower than what I was getting earlier. Equips full radahn set and yes it does improve the runes you get. Would like to know if this needs noted or confirmed

I don't know, but everytime i summoned by host using this armor or malenia's set, they always died quickly.

I wonder what other helm would go well with this set. Any suggestions?

The stats are great and the style is dope. The only reason I don't wear it is because I see so many ghosts wearing it and I'm a hipster like that.

the red floof obstructs vision. other than that, great armor set.

There's a war going on here, huh. Well, anyway, boots look good. That's all I wanted to say.

The people that call this scrub armor are the same people that get mad when their broken bleed builds don’t one shot you and then they actually have to play the game.

Meta andies hate this set because it's easy to get and has high robustness. Poor meta andies. All that dexterity, no style.
- Anonymous
Highest robustness tied with Lionel armor for 9 less weight (and less poise), therefore it has some uses especially for pvp to counter bleed depending on level and other gear. If you cant afford to wear it also check out the scaled set, which has a littl bit less robustness but also weights 3,6 kg less.

Vengarl set of ER.
Time to start tricking good players into thinking you're an absolute no-skill by wearing this.

The comments from people hating on everyone using this are great. Don’t hate the players, hate the game. This is the best complete set of heavy armor you can acquire by far at the stage of the game you earn it and is endgame caliber in general. Armor matters more than in previous Souls games. This is a massive get for pure melee users, who have it way harder starting the game than sorcery or mixed builds, and is not so heavy that other builds couldn’t incorporate it. It’s not just damage protection. It’s at the top of the second tier of armors for Poise, which is crucial for playing melee, and that top tier above it tends to be restrictively heavy, available very late and/or just plain goofy looking. Veterans Armor is the only one I consider upgrading to for those reasons. Not dumb heavy like Bull Goat and doesn’t turn you obese for whatever reason like the rest. So for this combo of protection, poise, availability and Style, I have trouble not using this for most of the mid-game T least even after making three characters.

pathetic sort ahead, indeed

Stupidly good armor so early in the game. I killed Radahn after finishing Liurnia of the lakes at around level 65 and I've got so many cool armor sets after that and they are all just worse. I just got the Crucible axe set from Crucicble knight Ordovis and was kinda hyped to see if it is better than Radahn's, but nope.

Some of the sickest looking armor in a game full of dope armor.

finally something to counter those retarded bleed users this plus robustness and poise talisman= 0.1% chance against bleed users cz obviously bleed is so well balanced in this game rn :)

Enia doesn't give me the option to purchase anything from her. Twin Maiden Husk's don't have this for sale either. I beat Radahn and cant find the armor set.

Armor looks good. But every time I invade I see some scrub in it spamming L1 with double katanas. Makes me hate this armor just by association.

Patch 1.03 (nearly) completely removed the lighting def and pushed it all into fire.
I now have 1% lighting def and 36% fire def, whereas before it was 17% and 20%.
Except for the cat gargoyle head, I wear the standard Radahn set.

Does anyone know some helms that match this set aside from Radahn's?
- Anonymous
Maybe an unpopular opinion, but this set is overrated and overused, helmet is far too ploofy, armor is ok, but really this is just red nameless king cosplay, and if that's your niche, fine, but I'm sticking with my Vulgar Militia set+Bandit mask for looking cool personally

Just saying for those who don't know after defeating General Radahn talk to finger reader Enia and purchess it from there , Not Transmuting the remembrance that just gives the sword and bow
- Anonymous
you get the set by beating general radahn and going to the lady that transmutes boss things into weapons at the round table btw
- Anonymous
Just replace the helm with Tree Sentinel and you have a Hoplite.
