This should have had better poise and damage negation, since they found head on and are called battlemages. I'm guessing those guys are just stronger then the tarnished; they don't need strong armor.

Own a stone club for home defense, since that's what the primeval current intended. Four ruffians break into my house. "What the devil?" As I grab my glinstone crown and Academy glinstone staff. Blow a golf ball sized hole through the first man, he's dead on the spot. Draw my carian piercer on the second man, miss him entirely because it's a thrusting attack and nails the neighbors dog. I have to resort to the haima cannon mounted at the top of my memory slots loaded with godfrey talisman, "Tally ho lads" the cannon of haima shreds two men in the blast, the sound and extra magic aoe set off car alarms. Fix great glinstone glinstone and charge the last terrified rapscallion. He Bleeds out waiting on the police to arrive since triangular glinstone wounds are impossible to stitch up, Just as the primeval current intended.

So anyways, I quelled the conflict by bombarding them with cannon fire and then brought down the hammer. They won't be starting trouble again.

People be like "battlemage set doesn't give poise" have you seen the size of the lads?? They are quite literally built different.

And anyways Gavel of Haima has poise out the roof, while also fitting with the theme so spam that a ton, it just B O N K S them into oblivion.

They should definitely make all armor upgradable, the amor status for the character's is some serious garbage compared to wtf the damn enemies get.

It's a bit weird that the Battlemage set is all around worse statwise than the Astrologer set. You'd think the robes of a battle mage would have a bit more defense than the robes of an astrologer.

The bad thing about this set is that it's not true to the enemies it belongs to and doesn't give a ****ton of poise. Seriously, these guys don't flinch for anything.

                  • Anonymous

Should have a lot more poise than it actually has, considering how much the Battlemage enemies don't care when you hit them. I can stagger an armored knight easier than these guys, it's ridiculous.

I swear the haligtree mage's version this set has over 99 poise,
which makes no ****ing sense why they don't stagger when they got hit by 2 ultra greatswords

I really wish this had comparable stats to other light armors like the Nox Armor Sets instead of just being an altered cosmetic of the regular Raya Lucarian Sorcerer armor.

Does anyone know if the Battlemage in Academy Crystal Cave drops the set? So far he has only dropped the stone club
