Use the Armor and Helm for the drip, and the legs and gauntlets of the banished knight set to reach 52 Poise. Looks very good and reaches the first important poise breakpoint. Combined with the Greataxe makes a cool Viking like look.

Yall getting straight northern/rohirrim vibes? Im getting a hge deal of mongolian vibes as well, the flat, straight ponytail like crest combined with them excelling in fighting horseback underlines both Rohirrim and Mongolsif you ask me. If they would be using a bow while mounted I would be sure. Anyways, I use the helmet still in the forbidden lands, as the big ones clip through Seluvis hat. Helmet best paired with: Banished Knights armor( with warrior greaves), Blaidds chest, Blackflame Monks chestpiece.

I made a comment about how many of the northern mercenaries I've killed and only got the armour set to drop when I was well into Altus plateau. Except I haven't had the set drop, I have the chest piece and helm, don't have kaiden gauntlets or trousers. I got cleanrot greaves first time I killed one, its a bit odd that this full set has been refusing to drop for me for so long.

I've always liked this set, right from the first time I saw the northern mercenary on the way to war-master's shack in stormhill wearing it. I was able to admire it as he went about battering my under-levelled confessor's arse right into the ground. I've killed an absolute shed-load of these mercenaries since then, and I always make a point of killing the one sitting near a campfire on the beach when I need to farm pinion feathers to craft arrows and I never got any part of the armour drop from a single one until I had pretty much cleared caelid and was deep into Altus Plateau, I think it was the same for the dismounter as well, I've only had two drop the entire game. Its still one of my favourite sets to wear, even if it would have been of more use if I had got it early game.

One of the best looking armors in the game if not only for the fact that it isn’t torn or tattered in any places. The cloth is still in-tact as though it’s never been in combat, and I love that.

Idk why you aren't allowed to take the fur cape off the chest piece. Its not that I don't like the fur it just would've allowed for some more creativity. I think the chest piece would match some other armor pieces really well if you could take the fur cape off.

I love how the drop rate in this game is one one-thousandth of Dark Souls. Killing millions of these guys to get a piece of armor is so much fun.

Easily my favourite set. You look like a legendary Saxon/Norse hero like Beowulf, and you have the Gigachad "defense? heavy armour? who needs that?" aspect too.

There's a spot roughly NE of the Agheel Lake North Grace. It is a small camp that has 3 normal and 3 mounted Kaiden that patrol nearby. There's even a Stake of Marika basically right beside the camp.

This set is dropped by Kaiden Knights themselves.

You can farm one knight right near the Agheel Lake South grace site. He is riding a horse though, so be prepared.
