Twinned Set Elden Ring Notes and Tips
- The Twinned Armor can be altered to the Twinned Armor (Altered) to remove the cape.
- Can kill D, Hunter of the Dead as soon as you meet him to get his armor set and D's Bell Bearing
- Can be given to D's brother (found in Nokstella, Eternal City) as an optional part of Fia's questline. In order to do this, you must have the entire set in your inventory (not your chest), and the armor cannot currently be altered. Otherwise, D's brother will not accept the armor.
- Poise updated to patch 1.07. See Patch Notes for details.

I wish they swapped the silver - gold parts and the heads in the altered version that wouldve been so damn cool !!

I really want to know how much strength and dexterity technically I want to know how much stars I need for the full set of armor because I have the armor but I want to know the stats so I can wear it can someone tell me?
- Anonymous
Is there a way to get this armor set back after you give it to D's brother?

Poise updated so it falls just short of the pve 51 breakpoint. Bleh, they probably don’t know how their own game works! Horrible
- Anonymous
Why is this exactly 50 poise rather then 51, It's like the dev's just don't want us to wear the great armor in this game without staggering from every boss attack.

Change the helmet to Tanith's mask and the chestpiece to Deprave perfumer's to achieve maximum drip

"Can be given to D's brother (found in Nokstella, Eternal City) "
D's Brother is in Nokron's Aqueduct, not Nokstella.

Nice stats. Shame about the optics. Pass me the sick bag...

This set have very beautiful chest armor (without cloak!). Perfect royal fashion with aristocrat's headband and hands + legs of Carian Knight. Im use this custom set with Stitcher and Distinguished Greatshield.

its changing the idle animation if two-hand certain weapons, seems like helps a bit with jumping

I could have sworn before you give this away the face is looking inward/upward, but when you get it back the face is looking outward.

The sliver portion reminds me of a mortal shell boss. Don't remember its name though.

Fia simps explaining how her killing a innocent man doing his job is fine but his twin brother avenging him is the worst possible sin known to man.

You can injure D by making the skeletons in the graves nearby aggro and you can save yourself a fight, basically getting the armor for free

Those of you saying the silver twin face should be removed are wrong. It’s what gives the armor it’s cool, creepy Catholic vibe, it’s quite unique for FromSoftware armor set and it’s my favourite they’ve designed. 10/10 armor

The gigantic twin hanging off the chest kills this otherwise fantastic silver/gold armor.

I kinda wish the altered chestpiece would let me get rid of the shoulder chode rather than just losing the cape like every other armor. I wanted to look like Lautrec from DS1 with the embraced armor

You can get this set extremely early in the game by defeating D the first time you meet him in Stormhill, immensely useful if you are playing a wretch or any melee character really and you don't feel like farming just at the start of the game for comparable armor. It's a solid mid range set with good poise and phys defense that will carry you a long way, you won't find a replacement until many hours in. Also, don't worry about breaking any questlines, D is a minor character with little dialogue, you can still finish Fia's quest, you can buy his stock once you pick his Bell and you can get the sword and gesture after giving his brother the armor later in the game.

Thais suit looks like a mother attempting to breastfeed a silver child, but he is struggling to get away.

vitality is significantly higher on this set than most other medium armors, possibly most light armors as well. seems fitting given the lore

PLEASE HELP, i finished Fias and Ds questlines, i recieved Ds bell but i dont have the armor. Whats did i do wrong?
- Anonymous
You dont need to exchange the set for the Inner Order gesture, you just need to talk to him, i had the armor in my chest, the full set, not one piece in my inventory, i interacted with him, he just "ahh - hrrg... Da...ri"... i got the gesture and still had the armor in my chest. did this not 10 minutes ago at 11pm EST 3/10/22

gave this dude at the roundtable the dagger, next I know he gets foken SPIT, and I got this armour.... talk about undeserved

You can't give this set to D's brother if you altered it. Remember to change it back if you want to do so

This is unironically the coolest armor design I have ever seen. Masterpiece

Is that total fire resist right? 4+12.4+2.8+6.5 =84.2!? that math looks a bit off to me.

got the emote without giving the armor, have the feeling its used somewhere

In my game I gave the armor to the brother in Nokron, The Eternal City. Once I reloaded he vanished. I didn't know where he went until I went looking for Fia to get her armor set. You'll want to get to the Prince of Death's Throne (boss room for this area) grace within the Deeproot Depths. You'll find D's brother there over Fia's body. You can kill him to get the armor AND get Fia's armor too. Don't know if this helps, but this is how it worked out for me.

Someone should try talking to the npc who wants the armour, while wearing the armour.

I don't think D's questline ends with his death, he has a brother above Nokron, right before the Valiant Gargoyle boss fight, to whom you can give the armor. Didn't figure out how to progress the questline past this point though.

Giving this to an npc in Nokron gives you the Inner Order gesture, what is that gesture for?
- Anonymous
Has anyone figured out what happens after giving D's brother the twinned set in Nokron? I gave it to him, killed the twin gargoyle boss behind the fog wall he was next to, and nothing happened. Does he appear in the roundtable after another Great Rune is acquired? I wish I didnt give up the set because its peak fashion souls combined with parts of the Carian armor but if it ACTUALLY advanced a storyline I dont mind as much.
- Anonymous
You can give this to an NPC for the gesture "inner order" not sure what the gesture is used for though
- Anonymous
You need to do the deathbed (?) maiden questline and you will get it, The one that you give the weathered dagger to him.
- Anonymous
This set can also be turned in to an NPC in Nokron for the "Inner Order" gesture. Not sure if anything else comes of it.

I just got the set, although I'm not sure what triggered it; so after clearing the 3rd demigod/getting the 3rd rune, you go to Fia, the lady in black in the table of lost grace, she will give you a dagger and "ask" you to deliver it to it's owner, I gave it to D( he moves to the round table after killing a tibia mariner on summon water village I think. Also I'm not sure if he was the one who's supposed to get it but he was the only NPC who prompted the option to give it to him), from that point do something else, go back to the table and a door that was previously closed near the blacksmith will be open, with D laying on the ground dead and Fia next to him, talk to Fia and she will announce that she is leaving and after that you can loot D's body for his full set and D's bell bearing, which you can give to the twin maiden husks to buy his spells.

Page says D's brother is found in Nokstella. This is just not true. D's brother is in Nokron, just outside the Valiant Gargoyles fog gate,
