Rotten Duelist Set Elden Ring Notes and Tips
- The Rotten Gravekeeper Cloak (Altered) removes the cloak, leaving only the snake bracelets, giving the set the appearance of the Rotten Duelists found in the overworld.
- It has particularly high Immunity and decent Robustness for its weight.
- Slightly lighter, with slightly better resistances but weaker damage negations than its counterpart, Duelist Set.
- Each piece of this set provides the effect similar to Shabriri's Woe, drawing the aggro of nearby enemies.
- The Rotten Gravekeeper Cloak only has the effect while altered.
- The Greaves increase Target Priority by 0,04, the Altered Cloak by 0,03. The value of the helmet is unknown but it is safe to assume it is 0,03. This will then become a total of 0,1 increase in Target Priority - becoming equal to Shabriri's Woe.
- Poise updated to patch 1.07. See Patch Notes for details.

So if you wear this set and equip Shabriri's Woe, you'll aggro everything in sight? That's great for grinding and arcane item farming! Awesome.

Will the effects stack if I wear this set with Shabiri's Woe? Would be interesting for a challenge run of some sort.

Duelist: Can I have a banished knight unaltered hood?
Colosseum host: Only a hood that fits
Duelist: *Pulls out comically large hood*

The serpent bracelets match perfectly with the burn marks of the three fingers

I just got the cloak from dungeon boss but it doesn't have the big hood

Been killing just one, assuming it was gonna drop the rest of the set after it droped the legs, then i was like " he hasn't dropped anything in awhile ima look him up" to my amusement you have to kill them individually and will be awarded upon killing them, i ran straight to the catacombs and got the cloke i wanted lickity spit.

Even if you have all the pieces, sets in this game don't actually do anything it seems.

This looks like it was made by an amateur intern. And what the hell is this helmet?

If you want a good piece of gauntlets, i recommend the Zamor Bracelets, they dont replace the Snake adornments and only live a chain on the wrist, which fits really well and the defense it gives isnt half bad either.

Does this decrease your ability to sneak or does aggro only work during combat?

More armor sets should be 100% drops with different mobs giving different pieces.

Love the aesthetic of this set it makes me feel like Hoarah Loux but why did they have to make the hood comically large

the crimson hood is a much better match for this armor instead of the default hood of this set

i really like the look of the set but I cant help but think the hood makes me look like a bobble head

The cloak does not give the effect unless altered, so the part about it still giving it is false. Tested it myself and the buff doesn't appear in your statuses without altering it.

altering the look of the cape gives it the effect of shabriri's woe according to the description, very strange

testing these out being summoned. it acts like a tank set in an MMO. you draw quicker aggro when you have them on, and bosses focus you instead of the host. good for helping out. i believe shrabriris woe is the better version of this taunt/tank effect

Strangely enough, the Rotten Duelist legs give you the Shabriri's Woe status effect in your status bar.
Wearing Gladiator pants makes enemies more likely to aggro on you, it seems.

The Rotten Duelist Greaves are not "northeast" as the above said, it's NORTH WEST...
Reminds me of red hooded creature from Conan the destroyer.
The information here is wrong - the rotten duelist greaves are to the NORTHWEST of the Ordina grace, not Northeast.

Okay since no one has answered this I'll step in.
I'm not sure if it is supposed to function like this, but there are no rotten duelist gauntlets that I know of, however:
If you kill the boss at the Giant Concuring Heroes Grave, you'll get the Zamor armour set and curved sword.
Now the zamor gauntlets when paired with the zamor armour set fit that set and are silver in color. However when worn with the rest of the rotten duellist set, they take the form of the rotten duellist gauntlets. Scarlet rot-covered chains. I hope that helps

Chest is at the {end} of Consecrated Snowfield Catacombs
Helm is directly to the left of the Consecrated Snowfield site of grace {look for tombs}
Greaves are to the left of Ordina, Liturgical Town standing on cliff {can't miss him}

helmet can be found to the left of the Consecrated Snowfield site of grace, past the giant bear on the gladiator dude with two hammers.
