Yes, you can still kill the invaders after varre dies. It's just a bit harder to get to the invaders since Varre gives you an item which can get you there by progressing through the quest. Now that he's dead, just kill the sanguine noble in the consecrated snowfields and approach the bloody portal.

Love this set except for the mask, which is the one piece that gives you the buff, but not very fashionable for my taste. I usually pair this set with the prophet blindfold.

If the bouquet wasn't meme tier bad, I would had done a Varre cosplay playtrought.

Use the Beast-Repellant Torch to keep the blood dogs off you while you take care od the invaders. Doesn't work on the crows unfortunately.

The fact you can miss out on this set completely if you kill Mohg first is kinda lame. They should either make the invaders stay even after Mohg is killed or do like Bloodborne did with Brador and have what they drop just there as an item pickup at the places they invade.

You don’t need to defeat all 3 invaders, just drop into the blood lake from a side path by the cliff near Palace Approach Ledge Road grace. Stay near the cliff until you meet first invader, defeated him drop me the armor set.

I got the white mask set by chance on my second invader. I'm using a great club and it keeps them stunlocked pretty nicely, good for quick and quiet kills.

Managed to get the entire set to drop for me after killing the second invader (nearest the farming crow) through an unconventional method:

Kill the farming crow first to ease yourself of additional stress around that area and then you can also try to get them to chase you back to the nearest area where you can use spirit ashes for extra help if you're still struggling; just hug the right-most wall to avoid being seen by the other crow nearby and try not to aggro any of the patrolling mobs once you're there.

He has low poise and does tons of blood loss.

Got invaded once behind the first bird you see after taking the shortcut from the Ledge site of Grace. Guy dropped whole set

How this works is that there are three invasions.
1st one will be when you enter the general area across the Palace Approach Ledge-Road site of grace.
The 2nd one will be directly across from the Palace Approach Ledge-Road site of grace, in the area of the Blood Chicken(be sure to kill it before fighting the White Mask for an easier duel)
The 3rd one will be more south of the latter.

The 3rd one drops the set.

For some reason only 2 invaders will spawn for me, and of course the one that won't show up is the one that drops the set.

I don't understand what people get out of changing the information about this set to be wrong, even after I have tested it upwards of 10 times.

I have consistently tested the set drop across 10 characters at this point, there is ONE SPECIFIC invader who drops the set out of the three. You don't need to kill Varre, you don't need to kill all 3 invaders, and it is NOT random which invader it drops from.

On my second playthrough i've been doing a bleed build and went to the Mausoleum at around level 55-ish since i want the mask. The first invader i killed closest to the first bird dropped the full set for me, while on my first playthrough i had to kill all 3. I found this a bit strange.

I don't get why they did it like this. Punishing players for not googling something is definetelly a mistake by From. I was eyeing this set from the moment I saw Varre in Limgrave but I was waiting for his quest to end before I killed him. After he didn't drop it from when I invaded him I googled it and realised that I had to kill one of the NPCs that no longer spawn because I had already killed Mogh. This isn't a matter of "holding your hand" but a straight up dumb design that breaks immersion for the game for no benefit.

tbh i dislike this set, makes me look like serial killer in pvp combined with power stancing scavenger's curved swords (seppuku off hand & bloodhound's step right hand), im literally Michaek Myers whos teleporting around on the battlefield XD, but bonus damage from white mask, seppuku, lord of blood's exultation, rotten winged insignia is too good, so i keep using it ;-;

It seems to only require you to kill the one that spawns furthest back, both my friend and I didn't kill all of them and still managed to obtain it from that one. This may need further testing. I only killed two and my friend only killed that specific one.
